My dog loves going - however I get little feedback what she is up to other than the usual ' Lexi has been papped'- she has not been all week because of the heat...an alternative could have been offered...I hope I will not get charged

Regarding the recent closures during the Met Office's red weather warnings, the welfare and safety of the dogs in our care is always our top priority. Customers affected were offered the option to swap their day care day or request a credit. If you've not yet been able to arrange this, please contact your Customer Care team and they'll be happy to help.

I was trying to sing up my little…
I was trying to sing up my little stuffy. And was refused because of the breed he is. No one ever tried to see if he can fit the group or what personality he has. He is very friendly, good with groups, definitely can spend all day with other dogs, not aggressive. I was very disappointed that it is judge by the breed and the type of dog. As each dog reflects the owner not a breed.

We understand that owners of all breeds can have wonderful, well-socialised dogs. However, Bruce’s has an established admissions policy that applies consistently across all of our centres.
Our approach is based on many years of experience operating our specific doggy day care environment. We know that day care isn't the right fit for every dog, and some breeds, as well as some individual dogs, can find this environment overstimulating. Our aim is never to set a dog up to fail, but to ensure that every dog in our care can thrive and enjoy the very best day care experience.
We appreciate that this will be disappointing, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

My dog LOVES going to Cookham Bruce’s
My dog LOVES going to Cookham Bruce’s. He gets picked up by Suraya and nearly breaks the door down trying to get to her! He has a fantastic day. All the staff are so wonderful and caring. They go the extra mile! He comes home smiling and settles down for a well earned nap!

All round- couldn't ask for more
Great communication, lovely people who clearly love dogs- shout out to Mia and Rachel. Mia is our regular pick up and Rachel covered our last weeks holiday. Bernie has been going since he was vaccinated as a pup.
Bernie always has his front paws up on the windowsill looking out for the van and pulls Mia to the van when she collects him. More excited to see her than me! And bonus is he’s well socialised and comes back exhausted

Beware! Unsafe transportation of dogs!
I was was recently left horrified and shaken by the driving standards of a Bruce’s employee.
One of Bruce’s branded vans failed to give way to the right at the roundabout near Charterhouse School in Godalming earlier this week. I was already on the roundabout and had right of way, but the driver pulled out at speed without stopping or giving way, forcing me to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting them.
It was genuinely frightening, and it has really shaken my confidence in Bruce’s. This is a company entrusted with transporting people’s dogs, so seeing one of their branded vans being driven in such a careless way near a school area is deeply concerning.
I reported it to Bruce’s head office because I felt it was a serious road safety issue, but they have failed to respond. That lack of acknowledgement makes the whole situation feel even worse.

I signed my dog up and was told it…
I signed my dog up and was told it would be mid collection at around 9.15 and they would arrive by 10am in Hemel Hempstead. But mid collection turned out to be another 9 dogs to collect and they didn’t arrive until 11am. Unacceptable. Let’s see if they successfully remove this review again

My dog loves going to Bruce’s in Cobham. She especially loves the warm welcome she gets from her driver Dominika.
She knows it’s a Bruce’s day as she gets an early breakfast and then sits chattering excitedly at the door waiting for the key in the door.
She bounds out the door and into the van and comes home exhausted in the afternoon.
What more could you want!
