Great working with Victoria Bullard for the purchase of my first home, and was very happy with the service and communication across the whole process.

We worked with Kay Angwin for the purchase of our home and we were thoroughly happy with the service.
This was our first house purchase, and she was great at putting our minds at ease and explaining the information we needed, as well as processing the LISA quickly.
Kay was transparent and clear about delays happening elsewhere in the chain (from other sellers), and she did everything to push these through as quickly as possible.

Working with Stuart Palmer on what has been a difficult chain for a lovely couple, I can honestly say it has been an absolute pleasure he went above and beyond to to make it work for the clients and that is what we are both here for (team work)

It has been a long journey for us and after decades of building our business, we have finally decided it’s time to let someone else takeover.
We contacted Bower & Bailey and our point of contact was Robert Brooks.
I have worked with many solicitors over the course of my business life and can say without any hesitation Rob along with his team, Rebecca and Rosie is one of the best solicitor’s team I have instructed.

Over the last 15 months we’ve had several failed attempts to purchase a property and our most recent successful purchase was impeded at almost every turn by complex legal issues and an unreliable solicitor on the sellers’ side (not Bower Bailey).

Throughout it all, Matthew and Laura persevered on our behalf and it is only thanks to their expertise and diligence that we achieved a positive outcome. There were times when it felt like they were the only people we could trust in the process, and they showed patience and empathy by taking time to explain issues which we often didn’t understand. Our experience with Bower and Bailey was fantastic ,the team worked hard to get us moved into new home . I would recommend them to anyone thinking of instructing a solicitor . Can't thank the team enough .

We were recommended them by our property developer and unfortunately they were the only downside to our house purchase.

I appreciate they are very busy day to day but i feel they lacked any kind of polite formalities when talking over the phone and also we found the level of communication rather when certain emails were requested when we have transferred money etc

Joanne and her team are all totally approachable and helpful and happy to discuss matters as needed. Despite some issues and delays concerning other parties lack of understanding of using a Lasting Power of Attorney, Joanne managed to satisfy these queries and hasten the end result, without needing extra input from us. We are extemely pleased with the service we received and would have no hesitation in recommending Bower & Bailey's services.

Both the solicitor and her secretary were efficient and provided a friendly prompt service.

This company was instructed to deal with my brothers estate when he passed away December 24

Very unprofessional making a series of mistakes / schoolboy errors in dealing with his wishes, causing more upset to an already very upsetting situation.

1. Giving the beneficiaries wrong information as to value of their bequests.
2. Giving wrong information as to timelines to deal with the distribution as my brothers estate.
3. Not replying to emails or giving partial reply’s
4. No consistency or appointment person dealing with relatives questions or queries.

This companies apathetic approach dealing with our family whilst we were suffering the grief/ bereavement of my brother is appalling.

Avoid this company !!!!!

The information received is often unclear, making it difficult to fully understand the steps taken by them.

Our experience of Bower Bailey, and in particular Jo Dobson, was excellent. I would highly recommend them for any conveyancing work you need. Jo kept us informed, gave us excellent advice when needed, and really did go above and beyond when we hit some bumps in the road.

Kay was excellent with my house purchase. 10/10 would recommend for all of your conveyancing needs. Straight to the point, professional and a no nonsense approach. I hope she can assist me with a will I need drafting!

Called to enquire whether they could assist with revoking a Deed of Trust. After 'checking', the receptionist informed me—somewhat curtly—“We will not be able to help at this time.”

I attempted to clarify: did they not offer this service, were they simply unavailable this week, or perhaps not taking on new clients? Each question was met with the same blunt response: “We will not be able to help at this time.”

The experience felt like a Pretty Woman moment—dismissed without explanation—despite the fact I’m in the midst of both selling and purchasing a home, and looking for a solicitor.
