I made contact with Chris the owner of Bow and Blade for something I could not get online as the machine was discontinued and parts were not available, A 3D printed part for a mower, he said it wouldn't be an issue so I ordered two. Not even 48 hours later I received a message telling me they were ready, went to pick them up met Chris, a thoroughly decent guy, with a small but growing little business. Paint's Airbrush and airbrush parts, 3D printing and more for the tabletop gamer or modeller he's you man, and as far as 3D printing goes if you have an STL file he'll print it for you. And I have no doubt in the near future to be ordering from him again. No issues, no delays, nice guy.

Made an order on their site, finally got refund after 24 days. Didn’t reply to site message or email. Only replied to texts after sending each one twice. Then told me lost the magazines when put aside to send. Would never use this site again…

Ordered an MDF Building in October 2025. Made an enquiry about getting some 3D prints done, paid an additional £116 for 3D prints. Prints and MDF did not arrive. Made excuses about laser cutting being down, but could do the prints quickly, then its November and Chris said sorry I'll sort the 3D prints, then its December - no prints no replies to email, now its January and I'm at charge back and Paypal dispute.

Shame as I spend a ton on this hobby and like supporting small businesses, but of you arent talking to me then I have to just get a refund.

Paid a great price for my old miniatures.

Talked me through the process of selling miniatures to them, very polite and professional, paid straight away. would use again.

Ordered a few model paints on October 29th, paid, recieved a receipt email, then heard nothing. No follow up emails, and order never arrived. It is now December 17th. Disputed the charge through my bank and got a temporary refund, but they have the absolute gall to challenge it!

Chris is quick to respond to queries, offers great support, and is both informative and helpful!

Delivery does take abit of time about 2 weekish for mine. If ur trying to contact them, Using the website forum seems to work better then directly emailing. Delivered as Advertised.

Very knowledgeable and fair with his pricing and when PayPal was playing up he rectified the issue straight away. Would 100% recommend.

Took a little while to arrive, but the quality of the product (laser cut mdf) was perfect, packaging was great, really well thought out not just cheap recycled box with product thrown in. Loads of bubble wrap to keep it safe. Price was really good too. Overall very happy with purchase. I understand the guy does this part time around a full time job and has a family, so i get that it won't be amazon prime. happy to wait a few days as the product was great, and supporting an average guy not just another big corporations shareholders.

I placed an order with this shop on the 3rd March, and received my confirmation order the same day, on the 14th of March I decided to contact this shop to inquire on my order nothing straight to voice mail! So I did what I should of done before ordering check their reviews, nothing but negative reviews! With that I contacted PayPal to process a refund as I wasn't going to wait any longer, To be honest I'm surprised this shop is still operating if they treat thier customers so badly, so any potential shoppers please avoid you will be wasting your time.

i approached Bow and blade as I needed some custom cut MDF bases for my building but I wanted them to be something more that just bare base boards I sent over the required sizes and the work the Bow and blade did for me was out standing. i got my base boards with a laser engraved paving and tiles all around the boarder. ranging from a 3" square up to a 14" base boards.

once i get these painted and weathered up to match my buildings it is real going to make them stand out.

can not recommend Bow and blade, you are now my go to for customer work.

Dealt with this seller recently and purchased a load of 2 Thin Coat paints, basing materials and Vallejo primers.
Nothing was an issue, arrived on time even when I wanted to adjust the order.
Stock was clearly visible on the website with some nice things available that are definitely worth trying.
They can even order things they don't have in stock too for you giving clear info on delivery times.

I’ve ordered some D&D books from them this year and never been disappointed. I picked the last book up at a local war gaming tournament he was trading at. I also received some good advice for a basing project, plus the bits I needed to do it.

Delivery was a bit slow, but went the extra mile. I understand the man who runs the business does it in his spare time and has a young family too, so i can accept that. Not everyone has the resources of amazon!
Called up to enquire about a product, Chris went through a few things with me and I ended up spending less money and got something much better! He took the time to explain the different airbrushes to me and what they were used for. He could have easily sold me a brush and compressor that were far more money, but he gave me what I needed rather than just going for the big sale, I have a lot of respect for that. Thanks Chris! i will be back!

I found Bowandblade after looking for a local 3D printing service. I emailed my specifics and attached the STLs I wanted printed to Chris, who was very friendly and broke all the pricing down for me. I made an order via the website and then it went quiet for a bit - I expect this is a one man show, and understandably it can only take the smallest obstacle to create a huge backlog. I endeavoured to keep emailing Chris and he was very apologetic for delay. I recieved a postage update about 2 months later from the order date and the prints are absolutely brilliant quality, totally worth the wait. Don't be put off by negative reviews, Chris isn't a conman or a fraud - email him first, try and get a projected timespan for delivery, and most of all appreciate this is a small business with a human behind it. I will definitely be using Chris' 3D printing services again in the future.

The 3D printed figures were wonderful, and I found Chris to be a delightful and dedicated person with a real passion for the hobby. It's true that it took a bit of time for him to be able to get the figures to me, but I understand that Bow and Blade is a labour of love and a small family business, not a corporate moneyspinner, so that when life gets in the way it's impossible for them to respond as quickly as they would like. I wonder whether some of the negative reviewers here did get their goods in the end -- or would have if they'd held on a little longer. Anyway, I found my experience with Bow and Blade to be extremely positive, and I will certainly order from him again -- although I will also exercise patience and understanding of delays.

Fraudulent seller. Lies about delivery time but does not send order. Will take your money then stop contact.
