Worse customer service EVER!

Received this product within a few days. Used this product 1 time and it was “ok”, no different than any other razor. Product went dead and will not charge (even used the cord provided). Tried to contact customer service several times via Phone # +19047853319 is not valid, email does not reply either and through my account from their website is just an automated instant message that says, “they will have someone contact me”. Yeah right, several days later and no response what so ever. It says they are located in Singapore. I know they are in a different time zone but come on! WILL NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!

Not recommended

I do not recommend this item. First they misdivered it to another address. I told them that even though tracking shows “delivered” I have not received it. Their response was “Tracking shows it’s been delivered.” What kind of a response to the problem is that? I followed up and they didn’t respond. The next day my neighbor brought me the box, so I dropped emails with them. Today, just about six weeks after getting the item it stopped working. It does not charge and shows no signs of life. I emailed them to support at bovem.co and there is no answer. Tried to contact them through the website and it directs you to send them an email to the same address. I am going to open a dispute with my credit card tomorrow.

Some guy from customer service responded after several days asking for a video of the problem. I sent him one and he said that charging with non-BOVEM cable can damage the shaver. He didn’t even care that it was not charging with the BOVEM cable so I was trying different chargers and cables so that’s what he saw in the video. The manual didn’t specify that you have to use BOVEM cable and any way it is just a USB-c cable. If it’s good for a MacBook why can’t it charge this trimmer? Regardless, I told them all this and they stopped responding.

Eventually they offered a refund in exchange for taking down this review. I refused an they still told me that the refund will be issued in 2-3 days. Over a week later and no refund I disputed this charge with my credit card, and Bovem guys fought it by sending a letter to the bank with a bunch of lies saying that they inspected the trimmer and nothing was wrong with it, but the broken trimmer was in my possession all this time, so they could not have inspected it. Ugh... Thankfully, I had all my emails saved and my bank honored the refund. These guys stopped responding to me at all. What a bunch of shady characters!

As far as manscaping, this performs no better than similar trimmers on Amazon which sell at half the price and Amazon stands behind the buying experience. So if BOVEM charges double the price their customer service should be impeccable, but here you are getting a cheap trimmer for high price and no customer support. So you pay more for less.

I strongly recommend that you do not purchase from BOVEM.

I'm very dissapointed with the service.

I'm very dissapointed with the service.
I Made my order on June 9, paid for the product anf for the transport that should be 4 to 8 days. The product arrived in Portugal on June 29 and got held on customs.
I had to pay almost 17€ in taxes (that should be included in the product price and today july 06 i still don't have the product with me.
Customs asked for the commercial invoice that i dont have as no email was sent to me with the invoice for my payment. I asked for the invoice on your chat support an received no answer.
Resuming, this order is being a complete failure at all aspects.

I never received my item

I never received my item. Bovem ask ME to investigate the problem with the shipper. The shipper never replied to me.

Seems like others have had the same problem. I asked for a refund. We will see how hard Bovem makes me work to become whole. Avoid the problems, don't order.

I had a small cut while using the machine.on one of the balls. You have to be too careful. Its better than the normal shaver but its not to that gentle to skin standard I expected.

Contacted customer support probably the worst company ive ever delt with they couldn't even find my purchase order to complain
And this has been on going for 2 months now this machine is either a scam or i recieved a defective one. Hopefully someone will contact me soon regarding my review.

Horrible experience from tracking…

Horrible experience from tracking delivery, to getting the product, and then trying to return the product. Do not order from this company you will not be happy. But if you do like being disappointed and and not responded to then this is the perfect company for to order from.

The newer model wows me!

It’s water proof, works fine, but some details around charging have some room for improvement.
First there is no signal to which a battery is about to run out. Secondly, when charging, again, there is no signal for charging status. Nothing changes even after presumably fully charged. Usually I take it out of the plug when the body gets really hot (like, really hot). Not sure if it’s intended.

[update 12 Feb]
I got a chance to try out the newer model. I must admit that all my concerns above were resolved. On top of that, it is USB-C compatible which is a huge plus! Despite the higher price point, I’d recommend this model and yes, it’s a five star body shaver for me!
