Returning from Dublin in the wind and rain to find not one taxi available - rubbish!

No water available airside here, unless you pay and it costs £1.50 for just a little bottle. Surely this is illegal. If not it's still exploitative of customers. Every pub in the UK is required by law to give people water free on request. Most airports have water fountains for travellers but not Bournemouth. Be warned, hydrate before you travel or be prepared to pay through the nose.

We arrived ar 1715hrs on a Saturday eve to check in for a 2010 flight. The plan being to go through security and eat a meal before our flight and car journey the other side. To our surprise and frankly disgust EVERYTHING at the airport was shut. No coffee etc available land side and everything air side was shut. Leaving us to cater for our 3 year old qith vending machine crisps and water.

Really disappointed with BIA service provision for passengers. The website says the restaurant is working reduced ours but not the shops...duty free or cafes?

If no stars were available this would be appropriate. This airport is beyond a comedy sketch, from oversized baggage, to security personal, to the Wi-Fi to the joke of the restaurant. This airport needs to close.

This must be a contender for the prize of the country's worst airport. No where to eat air side. The cafe landside had 3 toasties available. This place is dire. Wish I could give it zero stars.

Staff nice and friendly. Toilets need a clean . Drop off charges apply. No cash accepted in world duty free.

Jut returned from Spain having used this airport for the first time. It's very small and not busy, both things to it's advantage. The car park is just outside the door and very safe. We needed assistance to board and disembark the plane. The assistance staff were super helpful and friendly, even at 4.30 a m! A much better experience than we have had at other airports which tend to be much busier and less personal. Will use this airport again despite having to drive there from London.
We also had incredible help from a lady called Suzy when booking the car park, which is run by a separate company.

Excellent special assistance by lovely staff both on departure and return . Thank you .

The airport is fine. However, it is totally unacceptable that they do not provide a water fountain for passengers not wish to fill the oceans with plastic waste. Quite unbelievable in this day and age.

Quite nice vibes, all about the vibes. Was a bit of funky smell going through security though, think someone farted.

Fairly good airport. I like how easy it is to park your car and I guess it's safe since no damage has been done when I returned. The downside is that it gets too crowdy sometimes.

Their website is atrocious. Unsurprisingly I have had to cancel bookings because of cancelled flights or not being able to fly. First time cancelling was an ordeal but got there in the end but second time? Good God just doesnt work at all. Furious just because you have no real competition doesn't mean you can be utter rubbish and treat customers so badly. I have also had difficulties getting out of the car park before. Tin pot Mickey mouse airport. Will always check Gatwick now for flights. For the inconvenience the airport causes as more "convenient" think I will be giving my hard earned to LGW in future. Hope you're reading this Mr Ryanair have a word mate. Mr easyjet may be getting my money in future if things don't improve.

I recently flew to gran canaria from Bournemouth airport and as i am disabled need assistance, the staff were truly amazing and one in particular called Star, and he certainly was that, he was a gr8 help to me , it is just a pity the ryan air staff were the opposite !!! They were no help at all and extremely rude and have quite put me off travelling with them again.

Arrived on a Boeing dreamliner back from Barbados on Saturday morning which is a rare occasion for this airport only to have to wait on the plane for 20 minutes as they couldn't find any steps for the plane, how strange they didn't know we were coming? When we finally got off the plane and through to arrivals, O.m.g! 300 people waiting around a single conveyer for 30 minutes for our bags and then let chaos begin. An Absolute joke.
Not the best way to end a holiday.

Lovely small airport with a very relaxed atmosphere. I now avoid the busy ones as seem very frustrating. Stress less travel,on our doorstep.

Bournemouth "international" airport is stuck in the past. Joined the queue to check in to Tui flight, 1.45 minutes before departure time. We queued for 40 minutes, only two desks open. Then when most of the queue had checked in they opened two more desks. We proceeded to the restaurant and knew we would be too late for dinner at the hotel in Cyprus so we wanted a hot lunch. They told us it would take 1/2 hour by which time we would be boarding, so we had a toasted sandwich. At the Hotel 5 hours later another sandwich as restaurant was closed. Car park needs improvement, just a plot of land at the back where most of the spaces were. On return at 12.40 am we waited ages for the luggage to appear which on past experience, isn't unusual. I think it will have to be Southampton from now on. Not any improvement from new owners except some extra flights.

2 stars at best flew out to lanzarotte last Sunday flight delayed by 3 hours not the airports fault at all but zero info to what was happening. Flew back in this Sunday plane got in on time 10.40pm stood around then for an hour waiting for our bags to be unloaded (same last year but only had to wait 45 mins then) plus points it’s local but that’s the only plus

Good destinations but it’s a real joke having to pay for drop off even in a taxi. Sometimes it’s just easier to step off the train at Southampton and be in terminal within 2 mins
