Ordered a taxi on Christmas Day didn’t turn up for my son after over an hour so I rang the office and got someone on the other end telling me I have to pay again. We have cameras on the front no one has been then they said they rang but I had no missed calls. Do not use they wonder why them people get a bad name

Sick of this taxi service, it use to be decent about 10 years ago but now they're just totally unprofessional. I booked a taxi on the app, it gets accepted and you can see your driver on the way. They then cancel the booking, when I've been sat waiting to be picked up. This isn't the first time this happened. The worst taxi service in Teesside by a country mile. I booked another and someone picked it up for that to then change to someone else who was at another job!! I booked this taxi at 4 minutes past 1 to be told taxi was due for 1.15pm for multiple cancellations and a driver turning up at 1.35pm.... felt sorry for the driver but at that point I'd missed my son's pantomime. By the time I got there and walked upto the hall id of missed it. Absolutely useless taxi service.

Hi it’s mr g rose l booked a return taxi from James cook hospital for 16 30pm yes we were late as it was a longer walk due to north end been shut off the attitude from one of your drivers was disgraceful he needs to remember it’s people like me pay is wages l use Boro taxi a lot but not any more driver needs to show some respect as l was visiting my dad who s been very poorly it’s tresful enough with out him mouthing off

Used app.Taxi arrived on time, however upon arrival to destination, only then does the driver announce cash only!! (A little communication at pick up would have helped!)
Taxi fayre £11.00. Had £10 cash. Wouldnt let me off with a measly £1, even though I've driven same journey & know the fuel used is no more than £1.00 for same journey!! Bout time Taxi drivers carried chip n pin machines if they expect EXACT amount in this day & age - had to faff about taking driver's bank details to do a bank transfer from the back seat. Hope driver's happy that he wasted time off the next pick up all for a measly £1!!!

I had to get a taxi to pick up a dog from Middlesborough to Morpeth that had been travelling for 4 days from Macedonia, as their van had broken down. The driver got outside with me, helped Aaron get settled in the back and made sure we were safe ❤️ I can't thank Boro Taxis enough for the unexpected emergency help. So kind, helpful, polite, and made sure we arrived and returned safely. Thank you again. Forever in your debt. Aaron is safe and happy in his new home.

Drivers constantly on phone (hands free) when driving. Cars often scruffy and drivers often rude.

Car was discussing and smelling off something bad also would not pick me up in airport parking even though it was added in the price made me walk to the roundabout with all my bags

Pre ordered a taxi for the Arctic monkeys gig a week before the gig. Taxi never turned up but paid for in full. Got stranded in Middlesbrough and had to walk to billingham. Absolute shambles of a company.

Good luck getting a taxi to show up if you’re booking via the app! Says they’re 2 minutes away, drive past you and cancel the ride. Got bored of waiting after the second ride did the same. Clearly not a company based on or bothered about reputation. Useless. Avoid.

Pre-booked taxi cancelled by the company without warning. Checked on the App at the time the taxi was due and was notified it had been cancelled. No pre warning. Left me stranded. Appalling service.

Held to ransom over a phone a young lad with learning difficulties left in the back, would not hand over property not owned by them unless it was exchanged for a fee - £8, in a normal world that's called THEFT.

Theivery at its best, at least next time wear a mask.

Robbed £60 off me for £6 job last night. Yes my fault gave too many £20s but still....

Crazy prices...lateness and unhelpful phone staff. Use another taxi company

Booked a taxi, all automated phone service which is a nightmare, had to sit and wait with no idea when or if it might turn up, finally arrived 35 mins later and the driver said they only accept cash, which I didn’t have, so they chucked me back out of the taxi. Nowhere on the automated message say they only accept cash. Phoned to complain and finally found a person by pressing 9 but they were rude and completely disinterested and said they only operate cash. What taxi firm in this day and age has absolutely no way to pay by card? Driver also unwilling to take me via a cash point. Now late to my destination. Appalling.

Their app and online booking form do not work.

Tried callling them as I needed a pick up from Leeds Airport.

Explained I couldn’t use their online payment system so asked if I could pay driver. They said prepayment was necessary. So I arranged pick up via a different company. Got to Leeds and they called me asking me where I was as a driver was waiting for me. Pathetic.

Booked taxi for 2315. Now 2320. Just phoned to be told they cannot confirm when driver will arrive. All automated of course! Why pre-book.

Like most taxis, this company thinks they own the road and don't have to follow the law. They are unfit to drive people. I have lost count of how many times they have nearly caused a crash due to careless driving.

I was a loyal customer for years but really disappointed with the customer service, and the fact the don’t care when something goes wrong isn’t acceptable. Avoid at all cost.
