Very easy to unerstand and measur my hearing loss plus good advice on hearing aids

The gentleman who dealt with my hearing assessments and advised me about hearing aids was very helpful,informative and genuine.There was no pressure to buy any products . I was given sufficient advice and guidance to chose the hearing aid that suited me

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Boots Opticians have lost my expensive reading glasses!!! They are incompetent and untrustworthy. They try to offer you a pair of their own glasses which are NOT up to my standard. AVOID using them, as it's too risky.

Booked an appointment for my 90 year old mother to have a hearing test.
On arrival we saw the receptionist who told us that hearing tests are upstairs and there is no lift. My mother is very disabled and can't walk unaided and can't go up a single step.
The manager apologised, I told her I'll book an appointment somewhere else.
Today a letter arrived booking her in for another appointment at the same branch, even though this was not requested.
Poor service all round.

My appointment with your hearing centre on Castle Bld in Nottingham was very proffessional and caring. It appeared thorough and time was spent identifying my level and type of hearing loss and then seeking that up to my particular needs. All aspects of my degree of deafness were tested and my questions were answered in a way that I
could understand.
The cost of the best option for me was quite staggering. I had in my own mind before the appointment to look for an in ear model, but the for and against did mean an over ear aid would be the best for my type and level of deafness. Just hope that the supplied aid will be of maximum benefit and a long working life.
