A warm and professional service

My audiologist made me feel very welcome and valued. She took an interest in my overall wellbeing which helped put me at ease.
She had to refer me to my GP for something she found in my ears and did this in a caring and diligent manner.
She explained my choices of hearing aid clearly and with no pressure.
It was a very good experience.

Highly recommend

I decided to have a hearing assessment at Boots, Longbridge because of the excellent reviews the audiologist, Ayesha had received and I was not disappointed. Ayesha was outstanding in every way. I was very nervous and she was very kind, caring, patient and reassuring, doing everything she could to put me and my husband, who accompanied me, at our ease. She is very knowledgeable about hearing loss and hearing aids, explaining the results of the tests thoroughly and recommending Phonak hearing aids, after ascertaining my price range and what I wanted the hearing aids to achieve. She then took a lot of time programming the aids for me to ensure I would receive maximum benefit from them.

I have also been very impressed by the after care. I had my follow up appointment with Ayesha on 11 January when again she was caring and reassuring, answering all my questions fully and setting up a Roger device she had ordered for me to further enhance my hearing experience. She has booked my review for a year’s time but told me I can contact her at any time before then if I want her advice. Between my initial assessment and follow up with Ayesha I had phone calls from very helpful Customer Care advisers three days and eleven days after my hearing aids were fitted to check how I was getting on with them.

I am delighted with my hearing aids - they have enhanced my life in so many ways.

Ayesha at Longbridge

Ayesha at Boots Longbridge branch was excellent all the way through the process of deciding the right ear aids for me, the advice with regard to use & the aftercare service.

Very thorough hearing test

Very thorough hearing test and full explanation of results. Audiologist was very helpful and sorted me out with hearing aids which so improved my hearing!

I bought the gold standard behind the ear aids and find them fairly easy to insert and sure this will improve within a few days.

Have an assessment booked for early January 2024.

I took my Mom for a hearing test at the…

I took my Mom for a hearing test at the Longbridge branch of Boots hearing test and the service from Ayesha has been outstanding. Ayesha has been amazing from the start.

I had to reschedule Mom's follow up appointment which I did online and it couldn't have been easier.

A very efficient and excellent…

A very efficient and excellent service.. went to boots in longbridge and Ayesha Bibi the audiologist was amazing... lots of information and through hearing test... gave me reassurance in any concerns that I had..friendly and welcoming... highly recommend

Disappointed

Disappointed. Had no pre appointment form. Can't open the after sales survey despite emailing twice, so I will just leave it at "disappointed".

Booked but cancelled twice!

Booked appointment twice and twice they cancelled on the day. On one occasion just a hour of notice. Took time off work at my expense to attend. Disappointed and let down. Cannot recommend and will have to source a new service.

Friendly and professional

My brother prompted me to get a hearing test, as he noticed I was struggling a bit to hear properly. He had visited the same store a couple of years ago. I wasn't disappointed.

Ayesha, the audiologist, put me at ease straightaway. She explained all the tests and gave me plenty of opportunity to ask questions. There certainly was no pressure to purchase. I relied on her recommendation as I trusted she would recommend the aids that were best for me.

Ayesha also told me about the advantage points available if friend or family recommend Boots Hearingcare - I have passed the information to my brother.

I wore my Phonak aids as soon as I was fitted with them. The difference is amazing. I love taking phone calls with them on, no more putting my mobile on speaker so all the world can hear! I no longer struggle in noisy places and for the first time can clearly hear my late husband on the little videos I took on my phone. So precious to me.

I like the way Boots Hearingcare offers aftercare as a follow up to being fitted with the aids. I would definitely recommend.

Terrible customer service and support

It is a total waste of time trying to book a hearing assessment at boots Longbridge Birmingham
You book on line and they change it from a 60 minute appointment to a 30 minute
I have had my hearing aids 3 years and now this is the third appointment change .
I keep explaining I work so an appointment at 11.30 on a Tuesday doesn’t work for me.
I always ask for the first appointment at 9am Monday or Friday
It’s booked then changed i email them and never get a reply.
This was exactly the same when I tried to book a 30 minute review that took 5 attempts.
They are very quick at take you 3k for your hearing ads.
Their after care is a joke I advise everyone to consider this because it’s appalling.
