Had a full hearing test, after which I was given a complete rundown of the options available to me, from which, with guidance, I chose the option most suitable for me. The technician was very thorough, helpful and friendly, and at no time was I put under any undue pressure to make a particular choice

The consultation was first class I was made to feel at ease and was treated with the upmost respect and sympathy about my condition!

The hearing test I received at Boots, in Epsom, was very thorough and went beyond what I'd experienced previously from another high street hearing care specialist. The audiologist was extremely helpful and clearly demonstrated to me both the degree and the type of hearing loss I am now experiencing. On that basis, she was able to recommend and demonstrate a hearing aid that will help correct the problems i am currently experiencing with my hearing.

Comprehensive hearing test and good advice on choice of hearing aid.

I was impressed with the level of service received and I had recently been for a hearing test elsewhere so I did have a comparison. I was taken through the whole process and was even able to try a pair of aids and see how they could improve my hearing. I came away confident in the knowledge that this was going to improve my quality of life.

I have been having hearing tests with Boots for years and previously not reached the criteria for hearing aids, but this time my hearing was significantly worse and hearing aids were recommended. Catherine Ley, my audiologist, has been so kind and patient, talking me through the options and eventually recommending the hearing aids I purchased. I am really pleased with them, they are easy to fit despite my narrow ear channel and so comfortable, I forget I am wearing them.
I go back for a follow-up appointment with Catherine after a couple of weeks to learn about connecting to devices and the various functions available. Highly recommended!

Catherine was very professional, made me feel calm and relaxed through the whole procedure. Nothing is too much trouble for her if I have any problems I know she is at the end of the phone.

My latest appointment was today, 11 December, for fitting of my rep;lacement hearing aids. I was looked after by Priya and was very pleased with her guidance, explanations and the professional manner in which she carried out her work. Priya was courteous and extremely helpful. She is a credit to her profession and to her employers.

It's now 90 days since I started wearing hearing aids, obtained from the Epsom branch of Boots Hearingcare. There is much to learn during the period from when a hearing test identifies the need, and a key point I've learned is that the product is only as good as the audiologist who is programming it to your specific requirement. The audiologist at Epsom is Catherine, and she is excellent. Boots pricing is not the cheapest, in my experience, but there are no extra charges for additional visits. Catherine professionally steered me away from what I thought I wanted towards what I should actually have, without any sales pressure whatsoever. Definitely recommended.

Very good service catherine very knowledgeable and very patient. A shame you are stopping interest free credit as hearing aid are extremely expensive!! I think you will lose customers because of this.

Clear and detailed explanations from the audiologist.

The initial explanatory service, the subsequent testing, and the introduction as to how my new hearing aids would work was great. This plus the helpful assistance during subsequent visits to Boots to learn more about how to properly operate my new hearing aids in the best possible way for different hearing circumstances has been really great. My old NHS hearing aids are now filed away in my drawer, and will stay there forever.

I booked a free hearing test. The guy checked my ears said the wax needed removing 1st, booked me in the next week. I paid £60 for microsuction - much better than syringing. Had the free 15 min test after wax removal. The guy advised me to monitor hearing post wax removal and come back for a 75 min test if I felt I needed it. I did and had the test today. I saw my ear drum! And the hint of the 'hammer' bone (malleus) behind it - truly amazing. The test was very good, included a test of hearing in a noisy environment, which is my problem. I expected to be sold to but wasn't - the lady that did the 2nd test explained my hearing was relatively good and didn't warrant a prescription. She did mention new products they're launching which cancel out background noise and boost the higher frequency fricative sounds I struggle with. Really professional service. Highly recommend.
