Not fit for purpose.

Just been down to collect my new glasses and when trying them on the reading pair were awful and made me dizzy when I explained this i was told that it was normal with a new pair ?? and was treated like an idiot by a male staff member who did'nt want to listen just told me he would return them to the lab as they were my free pair ? needless to say we will not be returning to Dorchester Boots in the future , my poundland glasses were a much better purchase.

I'm not sure I'm ever going to bother…

I'm not sure I'm ever going to bother to try and use Boots again.

I had a hearing test appointment that was cancelled at the last minute. (This isin't the first time Boots have done this sort of thing.) At least this time I was informed before I set off.

They then phoned me later that morning but asked to speak to someone else who I'd never heard of. (Realised it was Boots after I Goolged the number.)

Boots are becoming more effort then they're worth.

Please don't reply with a genereic answer along the lines of, 'If you'd like to discuss it with us please call us on .... etc'

Thorough assessment by a very competent…

Thorough assessment by a very competent and professional audiologist, Ed Bassett at the Dorchester branch, who addressed my specific needs and provided guidance and support throughout.
He explained in detail, but in terms I could understand: the results, suggested solutions and the pros and cons of each option.
I was able to test aids, choose a solution and have them fitted ready to walk out with me. Whilst not inexpensive I was offered a two year 0% finance deal to smooth out payment.
Ed also set up a follow up and highlighted all the aftercare services available to me.
Highly recommended.

A totally positive experience

The whole experience was very positive. The extremely helpful audiologist, explained all the tests and procedures. He gave me more information about my hearing loss than I have had in 20 years of wearing an NHS hearing aid.
This enabled me to make an informed decision about wearing one or two aids in the future.

Boots Hearingcare service was faultless.

Boots' audiologist was excellent. His explanations and recommendations were always clear and helpful. As a result I felt confident with my choice of hearing aid, and my initial experiences using it have proved totally satisfactory. Arranging appointments was easy, Boots also send reminders, and they kept to time.
