Fantastic service and exceptional customer service.

I had a routine hearing check on the 8th January 2024, and from the start I felt looked after by Ria, who was very caring and professional .
I had issues with my hearing which Ria highlighted, was due to wax build up.
I had the wax removed perfectly with no discomfort.
Straight away my hearing was restored, allowing Ria to assess me and take moulds of my ears for devices that I eventually ordered.
Thank you Ria for a caring professional journey with a great outcome, in improving my quality of life.

Unfortunately our experience was not good .
The adverts for boots are great but do not live up to what they say
My 87 year old mother had the hearing aids on a 3 month trial and unfortunately they were not much better than the NHS ones and certainly not worth the £4000.
That aside, I was far from impressed by the audiologist at Amersham.
She had no bed side manner, was really quite rude and disinterested in her client .
Nothing was explained and she gave very little information regarding the gadgets.
When it came to returning the items, she literally snatched the box from my mother's hands, walked off and came back with a receipt, said, "there you go, you're done" and walked away.

Excellent service by Ria. She took great care when doing the tests and explained everything clearly.
I’m visiting on Friday to have my new hearing aids fitted.

I also brought my 92 yr old Neighbour after my appointment (Mrs Muriel Kaley) who needed a checkup and Ria was caring and gave advice on Muriel’s hearing tests. She also updated Muriel’s hearing aids. Great service. 👍

Initially I was happy with the professionalism of the young lady conducting the hearing test and her recommendation of hearing aid. After I agreed on the purchase of her recommendation things started to slide a bit and I became apprehensive with regard to her knowledge. She made 2 phone calls seeking advice and before I left I asked her to check if I would get incoming phone calls via the hearing aids, as I did with my existing aids. She tried, plus another phone call, but with no success and suggested it could be my phone wasn’t compatible.
I left, saying I would get my daughter to look at it.
Result is yes they do work.

No real criticism intended but you asked and this is how it went. She was very nice and this may help.
If she hadn’t got the aids on site I would have come back at a later date and she would have been prepared.

Your representative had a very pleasant and professional manner. She was patient and delivered clear advice and information and put me at my ease.

Knowledgeable and carefully explaining the various options for me. Left me feeling I had made the correct decision.

My only disappointment was that boots are not offering interest free payment plan

Friendly , informative audiologist who explained all the options with out any pressure to buy. made me feel confident in my decision to proceed.
