Great Store, always helpful and today was no exception.
We were served by William Knight, looking for some wide fitting walking shoes. William had a good knowledge and, a very likeable personality, displaying great listening, and understanding skills.
We came away with exactly what we needed and, part way through the transaction, spoke with the Store Manager(ess) (who's name we missed) who was very accommodating and it was clear that this working vibe ran throughout the store.
You will not go wrong with the knowledge, and service offered by Blacks of Lincoln, Thank You......

I wanted a pair of boots for weekend walking trips. Sam and Tom were very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me through the pros and cons of the different makes and styles. With their advice I bought a pair of Scarpa walking boots with a pair Sorbothane insoles.

Michael was excellent at helping me to buy the correct footwear. I had almost given up on being able to purchase a pair of walking shoes after trying other outlets where the attitude was more or less take what we have, not what would be best for me. A refreshing change of attitude delivered with humour!

With a trip up ben Nevis planned for August, and knowing I'm not massively experienced at climbing I needed a lot of help getting the right gear for the trip, luckily one of your amazing workers Jess kindly took me through all the necessary things I would need for the journey and and detailed why each piece is good, which gave me a clear understanding of what to get!! Would absolutely recommend her assistance to anyone looking to go on a hike!
