Honest, helpful & constructive is exactly what Black's Glasgow is about.
Liz was very helpful and friendly. My wife chose the boots she wanted and Liz brought 2 sizes to try. No hard sell trying to get us to buy more expensive ones.
Gave us great advice on which socks were best to buy. Great customer service with a smile. Thanks again Liz.

I visited this store in the hope of finding an alternative (wide fitting) trail boot as my tried and trusted boot has now been discontinued.
Molly was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in my search for an alternative wide fit boot providing choices and options for me to consider as was Dan who was on hand to give first hand experience of his choice of footwear as yet another option. I felt at ease and well informed with no 'hard sell'. I will be revisiting this store again.

Both Molly and Andrew at the Blacks store in Argyle St, Glasgow were absolutely excellent with their customer service. My aunts and uncle had come over to visit from abroad and needed a good pair of shoes to walk around Scotland with. Both had excellent patience and were happy to let them try on several pairs of hiking shoes in different sizes. Very smooth process - successful purchases for them. Thanks!

Went into Blacks to look for a Waist wallet but ended up buying other items. The assistant who served us (Holly) was extremely helpful in pointing things out to us and offering advice. Found out that we got a discount for being National Trust members.

Friendly helpful staff

Great customer service from Dan this afternoon to help find hiking boots within my budget and to fit my feet which are a half size so is difficult to find shoes that fit as there are limited options. Dan was attentive, offered different options and was very knowledgable, drawing on his own personal experiences as well. Unfortunately I couldn’t buy any boots but that was down to my awkward feet and not the excellent customer service!

All the staff on were fantastic and very friendly. When they say “the people make glasgow” this is what they mean. Cannot recommend highly enough and I am sure I will be back in the shop pronto.

Dear Dan, Holly, Andrew, Fran, Liz and Elizabeth. You truly made shopping in your store a joy.

The customer service was top quality, Dan holly and slizabeth helped me and my friend with all of our individual needs, I coudnt thank him enough for there service, I hope they get thr recognition they deserve for there brilliant service.

Thought I would have to go to a few shops but Andrew at blacks in Glasgow managed to find me the shoes I was looking for , much appreciated. Great staff very helpful, will be shopping there again
