Would like to thank Fran & Dan from BLACKS in Argyll st for their great service' couldn't be happier! , the staff at this store are a credit to their company' Got my self a new Berghaus jacket and boots and was very pleased with my whole experience at this store, will definitely be going back to Blacks Argyll street.

Rachel was prompt in showing me to the fitting room, so I check the sizing of some waterproof over trousers. Polite and helpful, she completed the purchase for me.

Rachel was super helpful, left super happy with our purchase. Great Sale selection too

Today I went into the new huge Go Outdoors Superstore in York. I was served by Dan. He is on short term loan from this Glasgow store. He was exceptionally helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I am confident his opinion is completely honest and will enable me to make an informed choice.

The customer service at Blacks is exemplary. We had a recent unfortunate experience with a tent which was faulty when purchased. Their online team were fast to respond, understood our situation and gave clear, accurate advice on how to resolve the situation. We also attended in person at a store where again the customer service was exemplary with the in-store team going above and beyond to help resolve the issue. The team really did turn a problem into a positive experience.

Looking for cadet boots for my daughter everywhere and thought I’d check in Blacks just incase. I approached a member of staff called Layla and she was so helpful. She showed me the options and with her experience of being a cadet herself she gave us advice on picking the right pair.

Highly recommend and the boots were great value for money also.

Molly and Holly were superb in their knowledge of clothing for the outdoors. They were also very personable and offered great alternatives for our upcoming bicycle trip across Scotland.

Blacks Glasgow store didn’t have the product I wanted but Molly rang around Glasgow to find it in another store. She found a similar product in Millets and asked them to put it aside for me WHILE she carried on trying to find my original choice. When she did find it in Tifo she then negotiated me a significant discount in their price to match the Blacks price. She was friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She’s a star.

Super knowledgable and helpful staff, really appreciated Dan (top floor) and Rachel on our visit today.

Upstairs Dan, what a guy , helped us more than we could of asked, we are going camping today and Dan helped us get all the gear we needed and even packed our bag for us while telling us good places to go in aviemore, never had such helpful service from a store before 10/10

Advised staff that I hated shopping so it needs to be quick and painless. Was in to take advantage of sales and get gift voucher for friend’s birthday. Top-floor Daniel - or should I say top drawer was especially helpful, empathetic and knowledgeable about products on sale, which isn’t always a given.
