Visited the Castleford store today with my partner, who bought a rab fleece. The shop staff ( Charlotte) were extremely helpful and explained the products durability and warranty which was really helpful. Also offered further NHS discount very happy with the product thanks !

Fabulous customer service
Called in blacks for a new hiking jacket which would withstand the elements for an upcoming Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge.
Narrowed down the field to 2 jackets before asking the employee on staff, Mike what he would pick for the event.
He gave really concise information about both of the jackets and explained where both would be useful as well as some handy tips about the jacket I ended up purchasing.
All in all great experience and will be back for new gear.

Needed walking boots for both me and my…
Needed walking boots for both me and my wife. Charlotte in Blacks Junction 32 helped us with selection of model then size. We are both very experienced hill walkers and know what doesn’t work so we take time to choose carefully. Charlotte was very knowledgeable and at the same time very pleasant - trying more boots and sizes was not an issue for her.
We bought two pairs here and didn’t try other outlets close by because the service inspired confidence.
