I visited the store late one evening for some last minute shopping for a trip the following day. Eric and Lea were so friendly, helping me find all the items I needed and making the experience of panic buying more enjoyable me and less stressful than I anticipated. Thank you both!

I visited Blacks in Aintree today looking to buy a base layer t shirt. There was a large variety of products and sizes to choose from and the staff made themselves available to help. Abbie was very helpful and made herself available for a friendly chat whilst doing her other duties while I had a bit of a wait for the changing room. She put a smile on my face whilst I was waiting and helped me but exactly what I wanted. She above and beyond what you'd expect and little things like that make a difference. Especially when she was hard at work and and everyone else is enjoying the weather. Made up with my purchase and the service I received.

I’d been trying for over a month to buy a tent carpet and tent footprint from other retailers that were running a promotion, but without any success. I popped into Blacks today, and the customer service was outstanding. Eric was incredibly helpful; after I explained the difficulties I’d been experiencing, he took the time to make the necessary enquiries and was pleased to let me know that they could match the price. His assistance and professionalism made the whole experience hassle-free. Blacks will definitely be my first choice next time I need something.

Went to the store to buy a waterproof coat and with the advice from Jamie came out with exactly what I was looking for. Great quality and good value for money. Even advised that they do a particular discount which I had and took advantage of. I also bought a couple of cotton T-shirts which they had an offer on if you buy two. Well recommended and thank Jamie. 👍🏼

I was served today and yesterday by Matty. He was really helpful, informative with helping us choose items and a nice guy. The shop was clean, well presented and had a really nice selection of items. The staff were polite, courteous and helpful. I like the new look for blacks, it feels calm to shop, there is a nice selection in a variety of different outdoor categories. I have always shopped at blacks, and will continue to. I am impressed by the new look, competitive prices and friendly service.

Absolutely brilliant customer service from Jamie today at blacks really helpful and accommodating shop is a lot better than last time I visited lots of new stock especially on the mountain equipment and trailberg stuff
