We received these cards yesterday and we're already loving them! We plan to use them every dinner time with our 2 young children to encourage interesting conversations and discussions. A great idea! Thank you

The couples edition has opened up some lines of communication between my husband and I that have deepened our relationship and reduced conflict. A great idea and Im happy to support this lovely family while reducing our screen time & improving our relationship! I used to watch their black out evenings back in 2016/2017 but it's taken for these cards to encourage us to actually do it!
Ours accidentally got delivered to a neighbour who I didn't have contact details for and stef offered to send a new box if they didn't turn up

Played this with all my family at our family gatherings and it was so much fun getting everyone just chatting instead of playing a competitive board game which ends up in arguments haha! Cant wait to play it with my little ones when they get bigger too!

We have thoroughly enjoyed using these card in our gatherings with friends and family. The questions are both fun and thought provoking for all ages. Can't wait to order the new editions!

I bought a pack for my nanny family as a leaving present and they LOVE them.
They go camping a lot and used the cards all summer - keep getting very cute messages from them asking me the questions they’re discussing!

I’ve been a Michalak follower for years and I bought Blackout cards without any thought! It’s been the best kids purchase this year - takes them off screen and gets them talking. This was honestly a game changer for us during our move interstate! Highly recommend!!

I am the father of two teenage kids. They are getting pretty wise in their old age. Instead of it seeming like I'm prying and attempting to be a "lame" Dad that is asking them silly questions I can leave my blackout deck on the table. We now play a game where we take turns pulling cards and asking each other questions.

We use these at the end of the night when you’re drunk with friends and just sitting around chatting 😂 They are fab for sober chats too though! They are also great to use and get to know work colleagues in a fun, lighthearted way! I don’t even have children but still use them! I’ve got the couple version on the way.

These cards have changed the family for the better. We are learning so much about each other: friends love them and often just bring out a couple and talk and discuss them: the kids think it’s funny when we talk about what we did when we were young! Phoneboxes, 3 rings, careers etc brilliant! Love them! They do what they say! Get you talking and learning about each other!

Before having Blackout Cards, we had a routine of asking each other five questions like ‘what made you happy today’ or ‘what was something hard you faced?’ These questions were great, but since incorporating the cards, our conversations have taken on a whole new depth. Now, each person gets their own card to answer, and it’s become such an important part of our dinner routine that the first thing my daughter does is grab a card for each of us to discuss. The cards have added an extra layer of connection, and it’s incredible to see how they’ve helped her open up. It’s become such a special part of our evenings!

These cards have opened up our evenings again. We are enjoying them so much and we are learning about each other again. Our daughter is getting a real kick out of some of the questions. They help her to see us as human beings, rather than 'mum' and 'dad'.

Even though my husband and I have been together for years and always have something to talk about, we keep these cards on the dinner table, and even if we do just one at a time, it's so fun to do. We've chatted about so many things that may not have come up in day-to-day conversation, and I love that we're still learning about each other after all this time. It's also lovely to have around for when our grownup sons are around. Well done, you guys! Just think of all the happy memories you're creating with something so simple, but so important.

Highly recommend - I ordered these Family edition blackout cards at the beginning of the summer and we have used them all over the summer holidays and still not finished the whole pack. They have been brilliant for making conversation and getting our children to chat, especially the teenagers! We have also used them when we’ve gone out for meals. They are easy to transport and carry around with you and they make great presents. I hope they bring out more additions to the packs they already have.

Fantastic idea, cant wait to use them on our family holiday, well packaged and great quality product.

We have really been enjoying them as a family. My son is 4 years old and it’s been great for him to read the cards and learn new words too. It feels like a fun game we can all play and enjoy, as well as learn from. Looking forward to future editions.
