I love the idea of these cards, but the box isn’t practical.
Compared to other conversation cards on the market, the box is really flimsy, the cards fall out the bottom. Also it makes it really difficult to choose a card, unless you get them all out.
So this is disappointing.

Amazing idea! It is such a simple concept, yet encourages self awareness and empathy towards others. It's not just a game it's therapy in a box! Lol... whether you sit and ask questions at a certain time, or ask a question randomly throughout your day. You are guaranteed to enjoy quality time with your responding partner/partners. A great gift idea as well. 👏👏

I am an English teacher in Tyrol, Austria, and bought the game to engage my students in the productive skill of speaking in a foreign language.

I can absolutely recommend this game as a tool to keep students away from their mobile devices. Learners of English not only improve their knowledge and proficiency but also get to know their classmates on a completely different level.
In addition, I also used the blackout cards outside my English lessons and was as impressed by the quality of conversations that emerged.

As my students are just as convinced by the blackout cards I will let them talk now:

"Personally, I found the game interesting and fun to play. I like that the questions have a deeper meaning" (Rosa, 14 years)

They’re good cards, my mother in law has some so I wanted to buy for my family for Christmas. Unfortunately as with some other reviews I have had huge delays in delivery and they don’t respond at all to emails asking for help. They’re shipped from China so I feel like the UK company has little to no impact on this and is just selling items made from a Chinese company. It’s a shame as the product is good but company isn’t great.

Cards ordered Nov 25 still not arrived. Email sent explaining after we would not be at home from Dec12. Tracking showed cards in Liverpool for at least 2 weeks. No response of any kind.
Poorest service I have had.

These were so engaging for my niece with Down Syndrome that I’ve bought a second pack for my Spanish high schoolers learning English. Fun, non -competitive and engaging for people of all ages.

I recently purchased both the Family Pack and Couples Pack of Blackout Game Cards, and I was blown away by how much fun we had! The games allowed us to connect with both children and adults in a way that was truly special.

Amazing cards, has opened up conversation between my husband and I so much. Bought 2 packs for separate gifts for people!

This product had a fantastic impact on our family dynamic, and has altered the habits we have around conversations at the dinner table.
With relatives we don’t spend a lot of time with, we had deep conversations and memorable moments throughout the holidays.
We have kept up the habit in our smaller family unit and it’s a wonderful bonding experience for the whole family.

I ordered it right before Christmas for a gift and arrived a few days before I expected, very fun, love the questions for couples edition, I don’t like much the box though, as is the simple box and the cards fits perfectly when I try to get one, the box started to break…
Any advise where can I keep the cards safely?

The cards are helping us form new traditions as a family - love it. Such a great product. In a world where we all are on screens this is such a great way to build connection and have great conversations together. The kids love it just as much as we do!

Reviewing couples' edition:
I was really looking forward for these cards and they did not disappoint! I slightly set my expectations a bit low because how good and diverse could 200 questions be? But they certainly were beyond my expectations. Each question was a cue to a long, meaningful conversation that defined and deepened our understanding of one another. Highly recommended! Don't give it a second thought.
On a side note.. if I had to write something that would improve the game even better, is just a clever way to kind of seperate each deck of cards so that it's more convenient to draw from.

I bought the couples edition and it was lovely to sit and talk with my husband (of 35 years) about different subjects such as favourite childhood memories, what things are important to us right now, and what we are grateful for etc. These cards instigate conversations we’ve never had, so it’s refreshing our relationship in a way we didn’t expect. I’m definitely going to order the family edition too as I think it will be a fab tool to have up your sleeve for dinner parties and family get togethers. The concept is genius. Thank you Stef!
