Great Virtual Credit Card

I've had Bip for a while now, great app, very handy and easy to use . Definitely would recommend this virtual card, very useful and happy with this company.

Nasty sub prime lender with no compassion to illness .

I was with this credit provider for years and had no issues whatsoever . Then I was diagnosed with cancer and required operations and treatment and have been in hospital for months fighting it. As soon as I was diagnosed I contacted Bip to explain the situation as being self employed I am unable to work and as I have no family or partner told them I might not reply to their messages immediately because of the situation but would always reply. Without warning they closed my account and put me in a default notice. Closed access to the app and my account online. They send me updates but I cannot read them because I cannot open the app. Out of all my creditors Bip and aqua have treated me terribly and written me off very quickly. I had always paid on time and never had an issue but soon as you are ill or go through a bad time they became extremely hostile and aggressive. They don’t care all they want is their money back. They have cause me excessive stress at a time when I should be trying to get well. I wish I had never got involved with this sub prime lender. But I’m happy that as they have been soo nasty that I will probably be dead before they get their money back and after the way they have treated me I will make sure I have nothing of value left for them to get their dirty hands on.

Irresponsible organisation

Bip and NewDay Ltd are irresponsible lenders and are a disgraceful and neglectful organisation. They agree credit where they should not have any reason to lend. In addition, they do not provide adequate support to vulnerable customers such as myself and victims of financial abuse. I have lodged a complaint against NewDay that, if not upheld by them, I am confident will be upheld by the Financial Ombudsman Service. Avoid, avoid, avoid! As you don't know what circumstances you will end up in the future and you do not want to risk yourself as being under the merciless pressure of an organisation like NewDay Bip.

Good form of credit

Bip has always been a very good and affordable form of credit for me. Your account is reviewed regularly to see if you qualify for an increase and the app is very easy to use.

Impossible to get in touch with them

Impossible to get in touch with them. Trying to contact them over a late family members account and they can't even answer the phone

Refused for no reason

Refused for no reason. A home owner, full-time employment, with excellent Experian credit rating. Apparently not good enough... maybe they only want clients who are unlikely to meet the monthly payments.

Having to send Bailiffs to NewDays registered offices!

I have been in contact with Bip/Marbles/New Day Media and their Executive team regarding a complaint I previously filed last year. After NewDay’s initial review and refusal to resolve, I escalated my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) where they upheld it against NewDay, ruling that they must repay a Section 75 claim they had denied, pay compensation, and remove an incorrectly recorded CIFAS marker.

Despite the FOS ruling - which is legally binding - they gave NewDay a reasonable timeframe to comply who have not yet acted on it. Because of their failure to respond or comply, I have had to file an application to enforce an award (Form N322A) via my local county court to legally recover what is owed and have the CIFAS marker removed. This enables me to instruct court enforcement agents (Bailiffs) to their offices to recover goods to the value of the outstanding claim.

I don’t understand why NewDay wouldn’t follow and accept their own complaint escalation processes, and I’m left wondering how an organisation that deals with people's finances, operates with such complete lack of integrity?!

Keith, Bip customer service is helpless

Keith, the same customer service you are referring me to are so helpless and incapacitated to solve problem. I have called them more than 20times in the past 1 month. All following SOP ( i will escalate)
Yet nothing was escalated. Because I have closed my account with you before the refund came in you refused to process the refund yet it wasn't returned to the merchant. How long does it take to verify an electronic transaction if it was received or not.
Your customer service keep asking me same question each time I call in like I never called in before after calling for over a month
