Very bad delivery service

I purchased a washing machine on 12th of January from Bing Lee Macquarie Shopping Centre. Order number SO1167508.

During the delivery date on 13th of January, I was in my office to sign a contract with my customer when the driver called me. On the phone, the driver said that he cannot deliver, I therefore decided to involve my wife to this phone call because I cannot handle it. After I merged my wife into this phone conversation, I would like to explain to my wife about the reason that I cannot help her anymore, so I said “I am very busy, I cannot talk”, before I finish the full sentence, the driver interrupted me by saying “I am busy too”.

After I dealt with my customer, I called the driver to understand the status, the driver was very aggressive and said “you are very rude by saying I am busy, you can not say it. I am busy.”

The driver’s behavior is totally unacceptable because:
1. I was busy and I have my rights to tell my family about the reason I made this phone call, but it was interrupted by the driver rudely.
2. “I am busy” is a truth, the driver stopped me rudely and stated that he is busy.
3. The driver started that I am rude by saying “I am busy “.

I have sent e-mail on 13 January 2023. No even one phone conversation with anyone from Bing Lee. Which means that Being Lee has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very bad business. Hopefully they will close very soon.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Mt…

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Mt Druitt Staff !
I spent over 7k in this store in two transactions within 4 days of each other…and my treatment was terrible. Amongst the items purchased was a 2 thousand dollar iPad Pro. Within 6 days this product crashed and would not restart. I asked the store manager for a replacement or a refund and long story short, he refused to do either, even though Apple customer service even agreed that this should be the case, especially within a week of purchase. The staff were extremely rude,the manager was and absolutely arrogant man who was constantly caught out in lies and then would lie again to cover his own butt, even to his own superiors. I called Bing Lee customer service twice throughout this process and was not given any actual help at all. The manager of that store should be removed from his position, he was untruthful, his behaviour and customer service was terrible and he even swore at my son as my son was leaving the store ( from the service desk in front of other customers !)
I have even spent an extra $229 on AppleCare so that I can ensure that I don’t have to deal with this store again! If I could rate zero stars I would !

Shocking Service

Service to arrange delivery was fine . However, Full Service Delivery only involves wheeling in the applicance and plugging it in - which in my mind is basic delivery. Customer service was completely disinterested and delivery team was obnoxious. Shop elsehwere!

Good morning Greg. Bing Lee's full service delivery is a premium delivery service for our customers and is provided for an additional fee. The following is included with our full service delivery option:

*Products will be unboxed/unpacked
*packaging will be removed by the driver
*removal of similar size or weight old appliance that has been disconnected from all services and is clean and free of any ice, water, food or debris before our driver arrives
*New appliance will be connected to an existing conventional 240v power outlet (excluding dishwashers, TV's and cabinets)

Bing Lee also offer a drop off only delivery option where requested which may come at a reduced cost depending on availability of service in your area.

We apologise if this was not made clear to you at the time of your transaction.

If you have any further questions or concerns, or wish to register a complaint about the drivers behaviour, please contact our customer care team at customercare@binglee.com.au so they can raise this with our logistics management.

What a joke

Came into the Bing Lee Blacktown store for a replacement for a faulty SD card. The entire process took ONE HOUR to complete. This is completely UNREASONABLE and RIDICULOUS to have to wait this long for a replacement of a faulty item. Had I known I would be waiting one hour I would have just bought a new SD card with it being so cheap. Not only that, the manager had no respect for my PRIVACY accessing my SD card to try to "fix it." I was NOT INFORMED nor did I CONSENT for my SD card to be accessed and for this "fixing" process to take place. (The fault of the SD card meant that files could not be deleted or reformatted. I would have appreciated it if the manager informed me before accessing my private property)

I never have experienced such appalling service from other retailers and will be thinking twice before shopping at Bing Lee. The entire process was a joke a disrespectful to my time.

bought a laptop from a pre-black Friday…

bought a laptop from a pre-black Friday deal. the website says delivery is in 6 days, checked with them before committing if it will be delivered on time (as this would be a birthday gift). All presto (so I thought).

Now well past all the cool black Friday deals and not even a promise of dispatching it by end of Nov. so obviously asked for a refund. Bing Lee, lever again you will have my business.

Slowest Shipping Experience Ever!!!

Recently bought a Cusineart Ice Cream Maker and it's taken nearly two weeks for an in-stock item to be processed and shipped and it'll be another week to ship it! This is a ridiculously long wait time to even receive an order - so nearly a month from time of placing the order to when I'll actually get it! Really ridiculous. If I'd known it would've taken this long I would've bought it elsewhere!!!

Bought a TCL 75 inch from Bing Lee

Bought a TCL 75 inch from Bing Lee. Asked about quality of TCL tv and was told no issues. It is the worst TV I have ever owned! It is very slow and then the screen stopped during warranty period. I have relocated to PNG. I rang TCL Australia who won’t honor warranty as not in Australia. I spoke to TCL PNG who won’t honor warranty as purchased in Australia! So I tried Bing Lee customer care to find a solution. All I got were more excuse. I was advised ‘Under Australian consumer law, the manufacturer and retailer do have a right to conduct an assessment of the product first to determine the type of failure before warranties can be offered.’ TCL already did this over the phone but as TCL Australia and TCL PNG just want any old excuse then im left with a broken TV! It is so easy to fix but neither cares and Bing Lee is more worried about TCLs right to conduct an assessment! Where does it say this needs to be in person?? What about my right to have a tv working? I paid for it and it cannot even last the warranty period!!! Don’t buy TCL EVER and don’t shop at Bing Lee!!! All they have to do is send a TCL tech out from PNG franchise to write report for tcl Australia to fix but no much easier to wash their hands of the sale and warranty!! They have my cash and that all they want. Appalling after sales service and support.

Our team are happy to assist with warranty claims for our customers but are only able to do so if the product is located within Australia. For any international warranty claims, that would be at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. We contacted TCL in regards to your case and were advised that the warranty was only valid within Australia where the unit was originally purchased. If you are able to return the faulty unit to an Australian address, we can of course arrange for the manufacturer to attend the premises and assess the fault and if possible to offer repair services if the fault qualifies under warranty. If you are able to facilitate this, once the TV is located within Australia, please give our customer care team a call on 02 8310 9499 and they can make the relevant arrangements for you.

I hope the gentleman (Rash nee?) who sold me my BBQ is rewarded. The most pleasant well mannered man I have met in many a year.
I went into the Bing Lee West Gosford not really expecting anything but I was sooo surprised with my experience, he went above and beyond. Thank you so much.

Mostafizul H Kazi was the sales man I…

Mostafizul H Kazi was the sales man I had at Mount Druitt store. Have never met a man so rude and arrogant who only wanted the sale and no information was given. Asked if I could leave the item I purchased in the store for a while and would be back to pick it up in 45 mins. Upon my return, he saw me then walked away up to the rear of the store, and pretended to be busy. Had to wait for someone else to see me. I would not purchase from him again as he has no customer service skills and is very rude. I was also looking for a front load washing machine will go elsewhere now.

Bing Lee Guildford lied in store about delivery timeframe and installation costs for a full price new washing machine and dishwasher. Delivered two days late and advised at delivery installation of dishwasher additional $150 and not able to be done same day. Manager at Guildford store does not call back as promised.

The worst customer service and delivery…

The worst customer service and delivery experience ever. Delivery message said 11:00 to 200pm but when time lapsed had to contact them. They said to wait, it could be any tỉm, even 8:00pm or 9:00pm at night. So essentially you waste your whole day waiting and NOT A SINGLE APOLOGY. customer service staff was rude and yelled back at you. NEVER EVER buy from Bing Lee again.

I do not even want to give 1 star, as they dont deserve it.

twice I have attempted to buy a Panasonic Microwave at Carlingford Court, My daughter and I waited for someone to help us. We saw a young woman working near us and she said she would get someone for us as she could not serve us, she took off and we waited,waited,waited and no one came.so we walked out.

today, same store and same appliance we waited for someone, there was a man talking to another and they took no notice of us, along came a gentleman who worked at the back of the store and then someone came rushing up and said he would serve us. He took the price tags with him and came back and said it is the wrong price and we have to pay the dearer price. My son who is experienced about legality said no, we only have to pay the price that was shown, the man kept insisting on the dearer price, so we ended up walking out again. Never,never,never will I and my family will shop at a Bing Lee Store.

It is very unusual for a lower price to be displayed and then taken away at the time of your inquiry. Under these circumstances, you are correct in that you should be allowed to make purchase at the lowest ticketed price. What has happened is indeed unfair and we are definitely not happy to be hearing of this happening in one of our stores. We will report this immediately to the store management team to ensure this is not happening to other customers.

Stay away from Bing Lee!

(Added after Bing Lee PR Reply): Look at how PR safe Bing Lee answers this bad review. If THEY DEEM IT UNSAFE, what ever... Why could two OTHER people do it with ease? No I don't think it's worth HELPING Bing Lee to "rectify" their image, because they are just bad and trick people into using their services/products. No, it's pointless.
Easiest is to just AVOID Bing Lee and get a better experience elsewhere. Simple.

I highly recommend other companies with non-Australian owners. Why?
Australian owned is not usually a good thing at all these days, Proudly Australian Owned means lazy people, people who want to do the absolute minimum for the most amount of money.
Bing Lee is NOT the only company guilty of this trend!
I paid for full service and got 1% of the effort with my delivery. I got two really lazy and useless delivery people who just leaves my fridge in the parking, because they didn't want to lift it up AS WAS PAID FOR AND COMMUNICATED to Bing Lee Already!

They wanted to charge me an excess of $200+ JUST to take off the doors of the fridge and lift it up the next day...

I instead went on AirTasker, got two immigrants (Just like me) who were more than happy to help and could do it EASILY and QUICKLY in a few minutes without breaking a sweat...

Just Stay away from Bing Lee,
as soon as they get your money,
it's GOOD LUCK CHUCK and
F you as a customer.

"BIN" Lee should be not BING Lee

Spoke to salesperson Catalina who was helpful & professional and unfortunately all downhill thereafter. Dishwasher arrived following day, box was soaking wet all carton crushed inside out, I didn't accept delivery. Rings store ask to speak to Catalina (day off), put me on to Gus who put me onto Anastasia who put me onto Victoria, promise to ring back in 30mins. 3hrs later still no phone call. I ring back, after being tossed around yet again from one to the other, Natasha said another delivery Monday. Monday deliver arrived box smashed and dishwasher back panel all dented. I ring up, same same, tossed around from one person to the other, demand to speak to Dani, the manager, who promised to send another dishwasher Tuesday (as I had someone coming to install it Wednesday). No emails or msgs to confirm delivery on way for Tuesday (as they did twice before that). I ring Tuesday morning to check on delivery, Gus says no one here ring back, he didn't even want to know or speak to me, cut me off and hung up. Rang back again and was told Sydney strikes Gus is only one there, I told Gus cancel my invoice and my sale, I am not buying the dishwasher anymore from Bing Lee seeing I can't even get anyone to talk to me & organise someone to come and collect the damaged dishwasher, he reluctantly took the details and I thought that was it that it would all be sorted. Friday I get an email from Bing Lee asking for payment for dishwasher. I replied explaining (as per all the above), no reply. Now again I received another email early this week asking for payment.

Bing Lee, absolutely no words, customer service -100 and only no star rating applies and it's an understatement Shocking shocking woeful customer service

Bing Lee Fyshwick:
I went in to purchase a Dyson hairdryer. Sales person not what I would call helpful. Verified stock availability, collected and only confirmed the colour and promotion of the product after I queried it. Then it became this big issue because the computer didn’t work, continued to make a very loud and vocal deal about it. When the sale was finalized he decided that it was a good idea to slam his large open palm heavily and loudly on my newly purchased $600 dollar hairdryer.
Why anyone would think this is acceptable is beyond me. Bing Lee perhaps some education on customer service and the handling of goods might be in order.

Terrible servuce

Terrible servuce. I bought a new LG fridge for 2600$ and it was delivered with damaged 2 dents on the main doors. I asked for a replacement and they said it's better that LG comes o site and replace the doors. How long will that take? Very low response via email.

Save yourself the time and money

Save yourself the time and money. Selling broken items with out of date coffee as the bundle, to then take the item back with no refund and no date of return of the item. Can I call the police for stolen goods? Because that’s all these crooks do. First time and last time buying. DISGUSTING! Oh and customer service number doesn’t work. But don’t worry when you get a hold of someone they don’t even know how to do anything anyway.
UPDATE: AFTER the message below I emailed Bing Lee on the email the offered. They have just ignored me. They now are withholding my goods and have given no update on repair or refund. I am going through consumer affairs as this business is a scam.
