I purchased microsofy digital. They have sent it to an email address that's not even mine. I think they are a scam company not legitimate. I emailed them and they said they ent it thye did but not to me!!
Buyer beware
Buyer beware! I recommend you avoid purchasing anything from bing lee. They will not honour warranty claims and even the Australian consumer act. In fact they broke the law when I return goods that were a week old and broken due to a manufacturing issue. The department of fair trading are dealing with my case. They even refuse to return my goods to me!!!!!! BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. most places will price match these days - go elsewhere or face losing more money than you think you'll save!

Went in store to buy an oven, there was two models we were interested having previously done research. The saleswoman kept us there for almost an hour going back and forth getting print outs from a printer on the other side of the store and seemed to want to chat more than make a sale. She couldn’t answer our questions about the ovens but held us hostage telling us about a tree she was growing in her yard and other nonsense.
After finally buying the oven I had to ask when we could pick it up or get it delivered only for her to tell us that it would take 6 weeks. She should have told us it would take that long before taking my money, if I had known it would take so long I would’ve shopped elsewhere or bought a different oven! I regret not getting a refund at this point.
We picked up the oven and hired an electrician to install it and the oven wasn’t working. It’s a fan forced oven and the fan wasn’t moving. We were told that it would take a week for someone to come and look at it and fix it. It’s absurd to fix a brand new, unused oven so we asked for a replacement instead. We were told we’d have to get someone to disconnect it and then we’d have to bring it in store and pick up a new one. We’ve had to pay the electrician again to remove the oven and dealing with the store has been very frustrating as they don’t seem to appreciate that we are out of pocket for a faulty product!
I was so frustrated by this process that I asked for a refund instead of a replacement and now I have to wait until the oven is at the warehouse and then up to 5 days afterwards in order to get my refund which is ridiculous. The refund process should be much more streamlined - waiting so long for over $1000 to be refunded has placed a lot of stress on my finances as I still need to buy a new oven and I am very unhappy with Bing Lee and how this situation has been handled. I contacted customer care and they were even less helpful than the store.
I will never shop at Bing Lee again.
NO Support for Online Purchase at Bing Lee
So I purchased something through Bing Lee online. Paid for the privilege of same day delivery and now that item is defective the online team are saying I purchased the item in store so they cannot help???
How ridiculous is that!! I don’t even live near the store in question now. Awful Bing Lee… just awful…
I’ll be raising this with NSW Fair Trading as it’s unacceptable!
Useless Device - Very Poor Service
I purchased a Vivobook Go 15 from Bing Lee in March 2024. When I received the item it was not fit for purpose, the battery lasted terribly and it was incredibly slow (as in slower than the 10 year old laptop it was replacing) and regulary froze even though it only had microsoft suite on it. The combo meant it was completely unusable.
I reached out to customer service to return the item for a refund/store credit given Australian consumer law means a major fault or mutliple minor faults entitles the customer to a choice between a refund or a replacement. Bing lee disagreed and would not negociate with me without a lawyer getting involved. They claimed to have fixed the slowness by replacing the SSD card but have done nothing about the battery issue. Having just wasted $700 on a device that was useless I didn't want to waste more money fighting a big corporation who made it clear I wasn't worth their time.
I'd strongly recommend you avoid purchasing from Bing Lee. I've exchanged multiple emails with them and in that time they've dropped the price of the faulty item by $300. I don't feel comfortable re-selling the laptop because (unlike Bing Lee) I don't want to saddle someone with a useless device. Even donation seems mean.
Delivery never processed, no notification
I made an order to be delivered last Thursday and took a day off work to wait for it. I received no notification or contact and was unable to get in touch with the store. I sent two follow-up emails and received no response.
Today I finally got hold of Customer Care. They told me there had been a system glitch and the delivery was never set up. I asked to just collect it from the store and get a refund on delivery fees but was told I'd have to call yet another number to sort that out.
The customer care employee was polite but completely unapologetic and very unempathetic, with no effort made to actively problem-solve. Really frustrated by the lost time and income.
Not good
Out of Stock item but said the item I purchased was in stock, yet no confirmation email or tracking number given, but strange the item I purchased was in transit via the store I purchased it through being Bing Lee as marketplace seller, I called online orders Bing Lee customer service they had no information on my sale or that I even made a purchase,
Glad I got my refund back through the website I purchased through, as a 1st time buyer it will be my last I won't purchase through this business again.

Frustrated customer
Great dramas...still waiting to get job finished after 3 weeks. Product in house and working and installation job all but finished.(both machines in laundry but not finished with wall mounting.) Bing Lee in my area cant handle the sales overload and don't communicate with their 3rd party installers.. perhaps should either get more 3rd party installers or not take on so many orders. Price and products good but management of sales overload?????Looks like a real issue with too much demand and commitments not completed in appropriate time frame...

Been a customer ever since it opened
Now I have read a few positive reviews which are common customer service approaches when your sell.or selling a product. Pretty straight forward when a customer knows what they want and pays for it at front counter and off they go.
But this was an appalling day. Not sure if staff is new and casual or family friend member who knows? It doesn't matter. It's fair to say she seemed lost and confused. I had walked in thinking it would be straight forward. But it wasn't unfortunately for me. Disappointed is not the word here.
Went in to pay. An Asian female staff asked me more than twice I owed abit more when it was correct amount? No-one helped her out to rase the confusion and avoid the tension between customer and here.
Very appalling . And to the customer who mentioned a staff that was non Asian? Not good to discriminate. Anyone can serve you wrong or serve you right and can be a happy customer. We are all equal. It's not about whether your Asian or not. That comment was not fair at all. Thank you. I kept forking money just to buy from bing lee.
And all new computer data base is being used now and all the old data base has been wiped out? Makes things more stressful when a customer is not in the system unless they buy something on a new data base system.
Help me please understand this. And why did anyone intervene to help out for a healthy customer service completion?

LG washing machine
Have a LG washing machine for under 12 months and is leaving black gunk all over the washing, contacted LG and that sent out a technician and he even said they have a issue with this thing building up, after he cleaned it and replaced a part it started to do it again after 3 weeks, contacted LG and the rude resolutions supervisor blamed me for the issue?, we did everything as LG told us to do and still happening, contacted Bing Lee and told them I’m not happy with the situation and no happy with the washing machine and would be happy to upgrade to a better machine and pay the difference, in that time I contacted Department Of Fair Trading and lodged a complaint, DFT got back to me and Bing Lee is refusing to take the washing machine back and blaming the end user.
Been shopping at Bing Lee for over 30 years and that is the last I’ll ever walk into a Bing Lee shop again even if I have to pay extra money somewhere else.

Bing Lee Warilla NSW sales sold me a Haier 9kg washing machine that was to be "trouble free". Machine was a dog and kept giving lint and soap scum marks over all the clothing no matter how little soap was used. They sent Technicians out to do a clean and suggested try use a different liquid and only use half the recommended amount. The defect still continues. Asked Bing Lee Warilla Charlie manager for a refund and return or a brand machine swap and they have refused to obey NSW consumer law. They refuse to stand by their product nor their salesman. Pathetic . customer service.
Rockdale Bing Lee-Terrible customer service, they'll just use your money for two weeks and not deliver your order
Terrible customer service from Bing Lee Rockdale. They're good at getting the payment but not delivering the order. Everyone will try to talk to you when you come in but not delivering the product. We have ordered a fridge worth $1k plus. They have asked us to wait for two weeks. If we knew that they will not deliver on the promised date, we would have ordered somewhere else. Fridge keeps the food which is a necessity. Bing Lee doesn't care at all. We have waited and when it is supposed to be delivered on 30-Oct-2024, they called on 28-Oct-2024 advising that the fridge is not coming. They're offering to deliver the one on display for the same price(seriously? Are we that dumb) or else we have to wait for another 3 weeks. No compensation offered or any sort of vouchers/discount to show they're really sorry. Except for just "Sorry" words from Jason. They just took our money for two weeks. I wonder how many of us are being used like this. We'll try to search more on how buyers can be protected by false promises of the sellers.
Unpleasant experience
Unpleasant experience. I bought Microsoft 365 Family from Bing Lee online. The code didn’t work. Neither Bing Lee nor I could figure out why. After three frustrating phone calls with them trying to fix the issue, they failed. The manager eventually promised a refund, saying the money would be in my account in three days.
I tried the code later that same day and found out it had already been used by someone else! Three days passed, and instead of getting my refund, I got a call from Bing Lee. A lady told me they couldn’t refund my money after all, and it felt like she just wanted to get rid of me and close the case. I reminded her the manager had already promised the refund, and after putting me on hold for 25 minutes, she finally said they’d refund me. The whole thing felt incredibly shady and dishonest.
Late Delivery Time
Best Decision Ever
We were heading to Albury to purchase a fridge "our current one decided to quit 24 hours earlier".
Took me a second to remember we had an appliance store in Wodonga. Thus we stopped and shopped our way through their fridges (so glad we did).
Peter looked after us initially and he went above and beyond to check fridge stock, explained sizes and checked for any current deals available. He reinstated my belief in great customer service. To say he was helpful would be an understatement.
Trent then took over to complete the paperwork and book in the delivery as Peter had to assist another customer.
Not sure how many people have had products delivered in an hour's turnaround. It was an absolute first for me.
I would absolutely recommend Bing Lee Wodonga for any products required. My son and I are thrilled with everything about our purchase.

ordered a washing machine, 1 month and still no delivery with no date of arrival. Have not assisted, will not offer a comparable product. no idea if or when it will arrive. customer service is horrid.
The customer service manager was…
The customer service manager was incredibly rude. I am absolutely certain that the plumber who installed my dishwasher was either working for her husband's company or a relative’s business. There seems to be a conflict of interest with the installation company. The plumber was an apprentice with a poor attitude, arriving with cheap tools and making a mess, leaving water all over my apartment. He was unable to install the dishwasher and then blamed me for purchasing it. When I asked him why he tried to force the dishwasher into a hole it clearly didn’t fit, resulting in scratches, he seemed indifferent. He wanted to leave me with a damaged dishwasher, and he took the old one, falsely reporting to his company that it was still in my possession. When I contacted customer service, the manager shifted the blame to me for the mess created by their installer. It's like dealing with a mafia!

Spent 1000 for a new dishwasher and installation service; guess what? Dishwasher is not installed properly and Bing Lee customer service team is the worst of the worst, still trying to request bing lee installation team to come fix their problem. So hard!
