It was nice to have the sales person not pressuring me to buy vehicles I did not want, and to seem to offer good valid advice that I may not have thought of at that point in time.
The small changes I personally would like to be different would be, to be offered the opportunity to put in personal information like wages and other incomes in a private space alone, I’d informed my sales person that I wanted privacy and asked my guest to give me a few moments privacy, only to have someone come over and say out loud the figures anyway, which left me feeling that my personal information was breached,
I did not appreciate that at all.

Aside from that, the sales person was pleasant and the car is lovely to drive.

I was not expecting to be on-site for several hours, I needed to eat, it would be good practice if there was an on-site cafeteria for those who bring guests, your customers might have felt it a more comfortable experience to think things through over a small bite to eat and restful place.

Norwich branch. Paid for a car to be shipped in from London. Was covered in dents. Was told by Damien that I can either buy it or not. He really was very rude and very intimidating. When I was talking about him to other staff members they all laughed and said he had a reputation. I asked to speak to the sales manager and damian would not allow this. He said his boss was too busy to speak to me. I just went I to his office. It really is the most terrible place to buy a car from. The staff are either all over you like a rash or utterly rude and not interested. It doesn't help if you dont have their finance. They do not like you paying in full.

Had a car for 5 months, it’s had endless issues!! I got extended warranty!!! no one will help me I am 35 weeks pregnant broke down in tears over the phone and no one will help!!!!!! I have a car that I can’t get to a garage because it will not start unless I have to pay out of my own pocket to get it there when I have warranty!!!! no one in aftersales will answer no one in sales will help!!! Every manager is “busy” or “not in the office”!!!
I was also mis sold this car what God awful company is this!!!!! To top it off when I broke down I was left for 5 HOURS ON MY OWN heavily pregnant waiting for RAC to which I have cover for through this horrible company!!!!
This company is awful they deserve no stars!!!!!!
they have stressed me out so much I am now having to go to hospital and my GP because of the stress they have caused me and my unborn child!!!!!

Windscreen washers not working, bird droppings left on the bonnet and have etched into the clear coat, no fuel in car on collection day, no spare tyre, or run flat tyres fitted to car, engine bay not cleaned, very dirty

I have already left a lengthy review but have just been informed we have been lied to AGAIN. We have never brought a car from a dealership so we took their word for all the stuff we was told. So…. We was told we could activate our big assist 2 year warranty whenever we wanted and it would cancel the manufacturer Warrenty. So we “started” our big assist Warrenty and upon calling them today 1 day prior to seeing a garage about an issue I find out that it was absolutely not true. Thanks again big motoring world for more lies

All of the team made my car purchase very straightforward. I found everyone involved to be knowledgeable and very friendly. I would highly recommend BMW, especially if you’re a woman buying a car on your own. No patronising guff here!

Very very pushy sale staff .. looked at a car didn't even test drive it wasn't for us poor sales person didn't no the basics about the car josh .. all they keep talking about is finance when we don't need it and made it clear.. now 3 times there rang keep saying we can give you finance really really pushy makes customers feel uncomfortable... I don't want your service and in1000% don't need finance STOP calling me Terrible company avoid

I recently purchased a car from Big Motoring World and the whole experience was outstanding from start to finish. I want to give a special thank you to David, my Sales Executive, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right car. Nothing was too much trouble and he made the process feel effortless.

A big thank you as well to Jon, the Finance Manager, who explained everything clearly and professionally. He made the finance side simple and stress‑free, and I really appreciated his patience and transparency.

Finally, a shout‑out to Tom and the handover team, who made the final stage smooth, organised, and enjoyable. The handover was efficient, well‑explained, and left me feeling confident and excited to drive away.

Overall, the service was exceptional and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I purchased a VW Polo from Big Motoring World in May 2026.
The salesman repeatedly mentioned the 200 point check that the vehicles undergo prior to being made available for sale. However, after I completed my purchase and I was about to drive the vehicle away, I tried to operate the driver’s window control panel and found that it was faulty.
As it was a weekend, I had to wait until the following week to book it in for repair. Although the repair was carried out within one day of me leaving the car at the dealership, the Manager refused to give any compensation for mileage for the return trips to Norwich.
The faulty window switch was clearly missed during the 200 point check and I feel I should have been offered some recompense for this.
During the purchasing of the car, everything was fine, until we declined to purchase the additional warranty and bodywork protection products. The salesman then employed a high pressure sales technique and his manner changed to one of indifference.

Recommendation
Check all the controls during the test drive. Beware of the hard sell technique for warranty and bodywork protection products.
