High praise…
Both of my children learned to swim here. Firstly in Wendy’s foundation class, then with Bobbi and Lisa working through the different development levels. Excellent teachers who make learning fun whilst challenging the children to improve their swimming skills. My daughter continues to work towards the academy level and loves her weekly class with Bobbi and Lisa. Highly recommend!

I love iron monger
I love iron monger. They have been patient and supportive with teaching my daughters over that last few years. Today I found out my daughter in now in the big pool and she couldn’t be more happier. Thank you Wendy for believing in her and the rest of the team!

Hi there we were at the swimming pool…
Hi there we were at the swimming pool with my 2 kids as my son had been doing classes for the last 3 years and my daughter 1 year, I spoke to Wendy what’s happening why all the other kids are moving to the big swimming pool and he is still in the small one. She was doing all faces and ignoring and she was not helping my kids at all. I think this is unacceptable

My two-year old started her swimming…
My two-year old started her swimming class at Ironmonger Row Baths since this May. She loves the classes, especially the teacher Lisa- who've helped her build the confidence in water.

Bobbie and Lisa are amazing teachers!
Bobbie and Lisa are amazing swim teachers! My son has been with them for years, started in the kiddie pool when he was just 5 years old, and now graduates all the way to Academy! Their enthusiasm, warmth, and expertise are amazing, and my son is always looking forward to his lessons!

Friday Facials
I had the most wonderful Facial in the Spa’s FACE SPAce area with Shadi. It was amazing, I left feeling glowly and so fresh faced. She talked me through all the products and what is best for my skin type! I definitely recommend the Ice Splash
Friday Facials should be a thing for everyone!!

Swimming lessons
Both of my children have had swimming lessons at Ironmonger and we couldn’t be more grateful for the patience of Wendy, Lisa, Bobbie and Lydia!
They really have been so kind, patient and encouraging while teaching my son to swim and they are always kind and welcoming when they see us.
It’s so nice bringing my son in for lessons, we immediately feel part of the family.
We couldn’t ask for a nicer group of people to teach our children this life long skill. Keep up the excellent work ladies!!

Dance Fitness with Nadia is a fabulous…
Dance Fitness with Nadia is a fabulous experience, she explains each step of the dance in detail and shows you. The class is a great workout and feel exhilarating at the end of class. Will always attend this class, it has a great vibe and great music.
Yoga with Marta on a Saturday morning, is a excellent class, tells you the reason for each stretch and movement, always leave the class refreshed.

But then i asked the staff to help me out and i came across a very friendly and helpful staff member that helped me sort this out very quickly.

Pilates class with Katy
Pilates class with Katy. She is one of the best Pilates teachers that I have ever had. Experienced, personable, very professional and an excellent teacher. Classes are always enjoyable. And at the right level for most of us - challenging but not impossible!
Gym is light and airy and spotlessly clean. Apparatus is fairly good. Roomy changing rooms. Always a pleasure coming here.

Great instructors and variety of classes
I love the variety of classes and the community feel of this leisure centre, the instructors are great. Katy's pilates classes have been life-changing for me, she has such in depth knowledge and transformed my body awareness. Michael’s classes are also brilliant, so effective.Last but not least Demos’ core conditioning sessions are just the right level of challenge and great fun!

Pilates cover teacher
The Pilates class on Sunday 6th April was covered by a woman called Tawa, whom Katy frequently uses for cover. Her classes are neither safe nor effective, indeed some of the coaching “tips” she gives are downright dangerous. She is also rude to people. I am dismayed that she is still teaching Pilates at Ironmonger Row Baths when this information has already been fed back to the centre and to Katy. The classes manager and Katy need to go and witness it for themselves.

Swimming Lessons are Great
My son goes swimming here every week and on occasion I swim too. The pools are great and the swim school team are just fab. Wendy really is great with the kids and encouraged my son through a stage of being really nervous. Lovely community to be part of.

Great swimming pool
We've been coming to Ironmonger Row Baths close to 10 years. Both of my kids learned how to swim here.
The facilities are freshly decorated and are kept tidy and clean. They operate a no shoes policy in the changing rooms and near the pool to help with the cleanliness and whilst not all visitors adhere to it, the number of those who do is on the rise. There is a family changing room.
Kids swimming lessons are of a very high standard thanks to the enthusiastic and engaging coaches. There is a shallow pool for beginner kids and a large pool (25+ metres with a deep end) for more advanced learners and lane swimming.

Brilliant teaching staff!
My son thoroughly enjoys attending weekly swimming lessons at Ironmonger Row. The teaching team are patient, approachable, supportive and kind. My son has recently moved from the small to the big pool (Foundation to Beginner level) so we hope things continue in the same stead.
