Really good experience in store at York but unfortunately they couldn't match your online price so I had to order online. From start to finish all was good, frequent updates and friendly staff. I just find it hard to think that you charge £60 to take away our existing mattress! Make it affordable please.

It would have been 5 stars but the sales advisor at York advised us that it was in "our best interests to buy direct from the store rather than online". This was a mistake as buying online gives customers goods return rights if you are not happy with the product that you will lose should you buy direct from store. We feel we were misled by the store colleague by him persuading us to buy from the store and franky feel "conned", he should not have told us that "it was in our best interests to buy from store" this is not true. We are unhappy with the buying experience because of this. Future customers beware!!!!!

I took your advice and was sold a mattress for my bad back… It took six weeks to arrive, it was lumpy and made my back worse, you then sold me another mattress with assurances that it would be best for my bad back, it had a gell topper and was £1000…
It made my back so bad that I had to sleep on the floor.
Eventually I went back to you and asked to change the bed, I paid £4000 for another Hypnos mattress which to be fair is helping my back and is very comfortable for me, but what a performance to get the right mattress.
The whole thing took the best part of a year because you take 6 weeks to be able to deliver. Yet again the delivery was good, but why sell cheap nasty mattress to people who need a bed to help their backs! And why take 6 weeks to deliver, 6 weeks is way too long to have to wait when you have paid for the mattress…

Clear advice from the showroom staff in York and plenty of time given to evaluate options.

Angel was helpful and knowledgeable, explained the difference between a couple of options we were considering, but gave us time just to look too.

I needed a slight adjustment to my order and Emma sorted it quickly and efficiently. Talked through what needed to happen next and was done within minutes. Excellent professional yet friendly service.

From purchase to delivery, with the exception of the wait time in between, everything went smoothly. Got updates at least once a week saying it was being made and on target for the delivery date.
The only thing I would change, which we didn’t gauge in the shop is the headboard. Too big in a small room.

James was very helpful. We went to buy a new mattress for our daughter. James gave us great advice and didn't give up until my daughter was happy with a mattress and a pillow. She is sleeping very well in her new bed. We highly recommend Bensons at York. There is a great selection of beds for all budgets. Pass our big thanks to James! and we will definitely be back.

Very helpful, changing delivery was easy, the delivery and build was excellent

Bensons fulfilled everything they said they would. Furniture arrived undamaged (delivery chaps were lovely!), assembly was easy even for idiots like me.
The only thing I didn’t like was Bensons delivery pricing which seems batty. I ordered 1x king size bed and 2x bedside units and the cheapest option was 3 separate deliveries rather than 1 delivery.

Great service, plenty of beds and mattresses to choose from

Bensons provided an excellent service👍. When entering the store we were acknowledged by Phil who advised us to look round and try any of the mattresses and he would be available to answer any questions - great no pushy salesmen. We decided on one particular mattress and Phil was available to answer questions at this point and the purchase was completed.
The delivery date was agreed and a promise of been kept informed was given. This promise was kept to the letter. Delivery was excellent. We live in an awkward cottage and the two delivery men made light work of difficult access and dodgy bends.
The whole experience was first rate.

From discussing our mattress requirements with James(the sales person, who was exceptional) to the actual delivery, we have been kept informed at every stage. From welcome messages to being informed our mattress was being made, to a few days before informing of us of the 2 hour delivery slot . That day we were reminded that the mattress was on its way. The two gentlemen who delivered the mattress took the old mattress and unpacked and left our mattress on the frame. Really impressed with the service and would highly recommend. And of course the mattress is great!!

Bensons were so helpful in assisting us in selecting the bed we wanted. We went in with an idea of wat we needed and they were very quick to advise us. We got a good price and great value for money. Delivery was easy to arrange and didn't take long to come through.

Efficient and fast delivery.

Just a shame the turn around isn't quicker. But apart from that Lilly was super helpful and honest.
