Excellent support from Azura at Hedge end store regarding problem with the bed
Delivery team were also great

Excellent service and delivery,the bed we had ordered from another company the day it’s was due to be delivered they phoned to say it was broken .We cancelled and decided to go into bensons to see how quick they could deliver us a bed as we were with out one , Benson showed us what was available and they delivered to us the next day , it was assembled and we were given cleaning pack brilliant service highly recommend

Absolutely fabulous service from Azura
She was very knowledgable and her manner was spot on.
Azura was only young and she is a credit to the company and the future of this country.
My brother purchased a bed and I got some of the mattress and pillow sprays. The sprays are really lovely and highly recommended for anyone that likes nice smells.

We bought a king size bed with 2 zip and link mattresses during their sale from the southampton Branch . We were attracted to Bensons because of their 40 day exchange policy.
Unfortunately we have found the mattresses too hard. We went back to the branch within the 40 days and were told the only softer mattresses available were now not on sale and would cost an extra approximately £2000 (more than the original cost was). The salesman said he would speak to the manager and get back to us. This never happened.
We are disappointed with the service.
If you are buying because of the return policy, worth checking what other options would suit you and what the non sale price is.

Update post review. Nathan at the Southampton branch contacted and apologised for the service received. We were invited back in and he and the manager were extremely accommodating to find a solution for us. Thanks Bensons. Would change 3 to 5 stars if I could

Very good business to buy from. Excellent advice in the shop, met the promised timelines for manufacture and delivery.
Delivery guys were quick with no fuss, they used an enormous plastic bag to take away the old mattress.
Mattress itself is comfortable.

I have contacted bensons Southampton to request a price match. They have not responded! Is this delay to make me miss the better offer with furniture village?

Sales person not pushy, knowledgeable- great to be able to see and test the beds out.
Mattress super comfy. Slept so well with no lower back pain after my first night. Bliss!

From entering the shop we felt welcomed and the sales assistant spent time to explain the various options available to help us make our choice, without us feeling pressured. We selected a Sealy Posturepedic mattress, arranged for the old mattress to be disposed, the new mattress to be carried upstairs to the bedroom and agreed a delivery date. The delivery took place as agreed, the old mattress was taken away, and the gentlemen who delivered the new mattress made carrying it upstairs look easy. We are pleased with the new mattress and consider that the extra charge for disposal and installation was money well spent as we are both in our late 70's and would not have been able to carry out this task ourselves.

I visited the Bensons Hedge End store yesterday afternoon and was served by Azura who was extremely helpful, had tremendous knowledge of all products I asked about, & was also extremely helpful over the phone the day before I came to store. I got a quote from her over phone, these products were then shown to me in store and other examples of upgraded mattresses & the ottoman divan bed over the basic divan I'd originally chosen. The Slumberland 6.0 with memory foam topper built in was simply the most comfortable bed I'd ever layed on and I upgraded to that along with an amazing side opening hydraulic hinged top that supports mattress to reveal an incredible amount of space (that i will need) below. The headboard I upgraded also to a deeper one that was so comfortable to bank cushions against. Azure was incredibly helpful, I was impressed by her knowledge of all questions (& there were a lot 😂) that I asked her. I'm so happy I went here & honestly this store is the go-to if you want a new bed; it has a breathtaking choice of products. So I just can't wait for the new bed to arrive, it was a short delivery date, & the delivery people will also assemble it all for me ready for when I return from work. An amazing experience, so much so that we will take our mother back next week for her to get a new bed. 10 out of 10 all the way on everything especially customer care and product quality. Look no further than this store.

Didn’t feel pressurised to buy and were left to browse. Jack (store managerat hedge end)was really helpful in matching the base, mattress and headboard that we were looking for. He helpfully explained the order, delivery and assembly process. Really good experience so far!

From purchase to delivery very good service. Didn't try to sell us more than we wanted but provided options. Delivery staff were very quick and polite and removed footwear before taking delivery upstairs.
