Fay was very professional courteous and kind she showed me several items before I chose the bed I wanted she never pressured me in Anyway just good old advice

From the time we entered the store the help and support given by sales assistant was exceptional. We were guided to a product to match our requirements without feeling any pressure. The sales assistant Fay explained everything clearly and would definitely recommend this store.

We went in not really having an idea what style of bed we wanted but left happy and with a new bed after Darren helped us in finding the right fit for us

Buying a new mattress was so easy in your Kilmarnock shop . Joy was so helpful . The service is and delivery is second to none . I would highly recommend them

I had been looking for the perfect bed and tried a few places. I popped into Bensons just for a quick look as I happened to be dropping stuff off at the charity shop next door. Dev was really helpful and explained all about the different options of bed/mattress and colours. He also left us to have a look around without any pressure. There was also a 10% off deal. I got my perfect bed ordered and in the colour I wanted. Highly recommend Bensons, Dev was very pleasant and chatty during the sale. Great selection of beds too.

Ordered a bed with Isobel and she was fantastic/ super helpful. Bed was delivered and that was fine. A box was slightly damaged. Due to going away/not being moved in the bed was only built this week. We Unboxed and built the bed to find there’s a tear in my headboard! Tried contacting customer service so we’ll see how that goes. Not exactly happy that I’ve spent over 1k on a bed/mattress with a damaged headboard.

I would be extremely careful when purchasing anything from Bensons for Beds

We purchased a mattress in January of this year (order B6555727) and within 3 months were having serious issues with dipping. We contacted customer services and were initially told to give it another month, after a week we called back and provided all the requested photographs and information. We were then told we would need to pay for a 3rd party technician to assess the mattress, after we pointed out that it says on their website they will cover this within 6 months of purchase they agreed to send someone.

Their warranty on the mattress is as follows: Free 8 year guarantee – for peace of mind

The assessment was carried out on Monday and the technician confirmed the mattress failed the dip test, however Bensons have invalided our warranty claim as the slats on our bed are more than 7cm apart. This is not something they state within the terms of their warranty, is not clearly visible on their website or documentation and not provided to customers at point of sale as confirmed by Bensons themselves.l but essentially they have washed their hands of any assistance and we have just to accept that a mattress that cost almost £1000 and is less than 4 months old is completely unfit for purpose.

Avoid.

Update 24/11/25 - The bensons representative that has responded below never got in touch with me directly. The mattress has now been binned as it was like a hammock.

Dev was extremely helpful and not pushy at all.Lovely atmosphere in store and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Dev, the salesman was very helpful. He listened to our needs and guided us through our options. At no point did we feel pressured into making a decision, and we are looking forward to delivery of our new mattress.

I have nothing but praise for Fay she understood the needs and situation and gave me all the options and help that I needed to get the best for the budget I had customer service has been first class so far can’t wait till my new bed arrives
