We had an unfair, misleading, and predatory sales experience we encountered at your Guildford store. When we originally agreed to purchase the bed and mattress, your sales team gave us the option to purchase an extended guarantee, which we explicitly declined. After paying our deposit, we were clearly instructed by the showroom staff that as soon as our interest-free credit agreement was finalized, we could return to the store to collect our complimentary care kit and mattress protector. Relying entirely on this explicit agreement, we undertook an arduous journey from Addlestone to Guildford on Saturday. Because we rely on public transport, this required us to take three separate trains each way (Addlestone to Weybridge, Weybridge to Woking, and Woking to Guildford), totalling six train journeys for the round trip. Upon arrival, we were met by a different member of staff who flatly refused to honour the agreement. We were told that the care kit and mattress protector would be withheld unless we purchased the extra warranty. This contradictory constraint completely altered the agreed terms of our sale and left us feeling severely manipulated. Under duress and the pressure of the situation, we felt forced to take out the extra guarantee just to receive the items promised to us. This has placed unexpected and unnecessary financial pressure on us. To misrepresent the terms of a sale to a customer, change the rules after a deposit is taken, and pressure them into a financial product is a direct breach of standard UK consumer trading regulations.

A great experience and well looked after by Jack. We were put on the ‘test’ bed and tried several options before choosing and we were well advised by Jack on the technical aspects of the options.

We have recently purchased an ottoman bed and mattress for our adult daughter. We went to Guildford our local branch and dealt with John. His knowledge on the beds, mattresses etc was unbelievable. He listened to what we wanted and why and then was able to guide us through what would best suit our budget. Great experience and will definitely return to buy a new mattress from him in the future.

My experience with Bensons For Beds was Excellent from Beginning to End.

At the Guildford Shop, Charlie was Excellent showing me the different kinds of Mattress to try on. And also all the Explanations. Also, a Very Friendly Person.

On the Delivery Day, Excellent Delivery Time and Call to say that they were on the Way and Also Very Friendly people.

Shop assistant was friendly and knowledgeable.

We had contact with numerous members of your staff and found everyone very helpful and knowledgeable. Also proactive in responding to our queries. The product we ended up with was exactly what we wanted and we were kept up to date with progress both on the manufacture and the delivery dates.

It was not mentioned that I could no longer use my electric underblanket on my Tempur mattress, nor was I made aware that the extremely noxious smell from the mattress would render my bedroom unusable for a week (or more). Currently I have been sleeping on the sofa for four nights...and counting! I have followed instructions concerning "off-gassing" and some Tempur reviews advise this for SIX WEEKS!
The bed won't be delivered for another 3 months, so perhaps you'd like to get in touch again at the end of the summer, when I've had a chance to sample both my purchases!

My son needed a new bedframe and mattress, and I needed a new mattress. We went to the Guildford branch where Zared helped us. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and very friendly.He showed us options, and talked us through them, and recommended mattress covers, and pillows. For a reasonable chare, the goods will be delivered, the bed assembled, and the mattresses put in place.Great service.
