Took out a 5 issues for £5 offer for MCN...after 2 issues, I suddenly get charged the £39.99 for a Quarter - not even before I had the option whether I wanted to carry it on or not - contacted Customer service who said "we will jot be issuing a refund".
Absolute con artists - DO NOT fall for these (on the face of it) cheap introduction subscriptions to a magazine.

It got one star because that's the price of getting the review published. I learned about "it" from a periodic review of my "regular payments". Apparently I'd subscribed to some magazine...I still don't know what it was, and have been unable to find out. They DID notice the stopped payment (the sole point of sensitivity) and sent me instructions about how to restore it. Isn't it rich? It's an utterly corrupt lot of charlatans (apparently working there is about as miserable as you'd expect).
My "experience" was about billing only. Do they actually engage in a business, as in providing goods or services in exchange? I still don't know.

Ich bin sonst sehr zufrieden mit Meine-Zeitschrift.de, die zur Bauer Media Group gehört, aber für die erste Zahlungserinnerung, weil man eine Zahlung übersehen hat, finde ich die Wortwahl doch sehr unfreundlich.
"Sehr geehrter Kunde,
haben Sie uns vergessen oder waren Sie mit unserer erbrachten Leistung unzufrieden?
Wir jedenfalls haben alles daran gesetzt, um Sie durch einwandfreie Ware und pünktliche Lieferung zufrieden
zu stellen. Deshalb sind wir nun überrascht, dass Sie trotz der von uns in Anspruch genommenen Serviceleistung
den fälligen Betrag, der unten aufgeführt ist, noch nicht überwiesen haben.
Da Sie uns bis heute keinen Grund für Ihren Zahlungsrückstand genannt haben, bitten wir Sie, den ausstehenden

Wenn von einem sonst zahlungspünklichen Kunden mal eine Zahlung übersehen wurde, genügt doch ein "Wir möchten Sie freundlich erinnern", oder?
Vielleicht mal überdenken!

There constant make me a winner plugs…
There constant make me a winner plugs are a JOKE and they slip them constantly in the programming I pay for no adverts and they put these everywhere, the Simon Mayor show even has an advert in it. They need to stop as it has wrecked an otherwise great station. Their presenters are now basically advertising actors.

A second direct debit attempt within 12 months from these thieves. Never had any dealings with them yet they continue to try and steal my money.

Subscription to Birdwatching Magazine online... experienced many problems logging on using both the app and online. Today could not log on via the app (again!) And could not access online via the Bauer Birdwatching Magazine site (again). Contacted them and, as usual, very unhelpful. I finished the conversation by cancelling the subscription for both the online and printed copies... they just don't care!
My first issue of the TV listings…
My first issue of the TV listings magazine didn't arrive. On Bauers Q&A page they claim that a subscriber should receive their copy about the same time as they arrive in the shops. They also claim to respond to emails within 2 working days. Neither of these claims are true. This is an appalling company who cynically take your fee and do not fulfill their side of the contract. I shall need to take them to court to recover my subscription fee. My advice would be:- have absolutely nothing to do with these charlatans.

This company just sets up direct debits on your account without any authorisation or contact with them. Had to cancel two subscriptions with them that I didn't set up. Company should be investigated
Isolating & Extremely Poor Management & Clarification
I’ve never felt more isolated and alone on a Team in my life. As soon as I left, they changed my role title completely with regards to rehiring. Evident they're unsure about who they're really looking for. Poor management, constant forgetfulness in. regards to cc'ing me on emails I should have been picking up and they lied on my departure form saying that it was 3 days in the office, when, was in fact, clearly spelt out tor me as 2 days. Basically gave twisted and hyperbolic excuses/reasons for HR to get rid of me; none of what was said on my departure letter was said to my face.

Vorsicht Betrugsmasche! Welt der Wunder Abo ordentlich gekündigt! Was für ein Theater, denn der Verlag ist zu keinem Zeitpunkt erreichbar und antwortet in der Regel erst nach 3-4 Wochen. Schriftliche Bestätigung haben wir nach zähem hin und her bekommen. Nach einem Jahr kommt nun eine Nachrechnung, angeblich sei das Abo während der Kündigungsfrist teurer geworden. Keine Info darüber erhalten. Es müsse nun €45 nachbezahlt werden. So geht das nicht. Sollte nicht umgehend Ruhe sein, schalten wir die Staatsanwaltschaft ein.

I have issues with the Go Loud App…
I have issues with the Go Loud App (part of the Bauer Media Group), where app randomly shuts down.
I first reported the issue 4 months ago to Bauer, and despite being informed by one of Bauer reps that they were able to replicate the issue, I have consistently been feed half baked feedback and suggestions and no resolution to the issue.
It has been left with myself to continually follow up with Bauer for where they are at with resolving the issue, and seems that it is just going around in circles.
Very poor and extremely unprofessional.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
Ich möchte meine Erfahrung teilen, damit andere nicht in die gleiche Falle tappen.
Ich habe ein Exemplar der Zeitschrift Frau Aktuell als Geschenk erhalten – so dachte ich jedenfalls.
Doch es stellte sich heraus, dass es sich um ein verstecktes Abonnement handelte.
Laut Vertrag hätte ich innerhalb von 15 Tagen widersprechen können.
Die Rechnung kam aber erst nach Ablauf dieser Frist, sodass ein rechtzeitiger Widerspruch unmöglich war.
Trotz mehrfacher schriftlicher Einwände wurde mein Widerspruch nicht akzeptiert.
Am Ende musste ich durch ein Inkasso-Verfahren statt 75 € ganze 300 € bezahlen.
Bitte seid vorsichtig!
Solche „Gratis-“ oder „Probe-“Angebote können teure Abofallen sein.
Ich teile das hier, damit niemand sonst auf dieselbe Masche hereinfällt.
