Skip arrived on time and on date. Skip was also picked up on time and on date.
Ordering was so simple over the phone and cannot thank you enough. There is no mess left behind by the driver and he put a sheet over the top, so no mess would fall on the floor as he was driving away.
A big thank you for a nice job well done

The process of booking and getting a skip is fast and straightforward. However, this company has significant issues with communication and logistics. They do not proactively arrange skip collections, meaning you often have to call multiple times just to have it collected, which suggests their system is outdated and not functioning properly.

If you order a replacement skip, deliveries are also unreliable. On several occasions, I received an email confirming delivery for the following day, but the skip never arrived, forcing me to call again to chase it up.

Overall, the experience involves constant follow-up just to confirm whether the skip is being delivered or collected. I strongly advise the company to review and improve its communication processes, as there seems to be a serious breakdown in how their operations are being managed.

Easy booking process, helpful office staff answering all my queries promptly and picked up on time. No complaints at all!

Easy to book, well laid out web site making skip size choice easy. Followed up on email and phone and great for on time delivery. Driver was great, navigating a small space very well. Collected early after calling me to check. Great service from start to finish. Will be using again shortly.

Terrible service from a disorganised unprofessional company. I called to book a grab hire to take away some stone. I asked before booking if the grab hire could first move some metal scrap in our yard before taking away the stone and the agent said she would check with her boss. I was called back to confirm this was OK and I could remit payment to book. The driver turned up, didn't know anything about the moving of the metal and refused to help. When calling the office the same agent said they didn't offer this service and refused to help us. We were miss sold by them promising one thing, taking the money and then ignoring you. Unprofessional company that we wouldn't use again although I doubt they will last long based on our experience.

SKIP delivery prompt no faults there .
But actually trying to get someone to collect it . Impossible .
Its now 2 months later , 12 phone calls so far and 4 left messages and the skip is still in situ . Ive been promised several times that its been routed and collected and it hasnt .
If you want a skip delivered AND collected this is not the company for you !!!

As others are describing, take your money and never collect the skip. More fly tipping now than I had to get rid of originally.
Never answer the phone, false promises, 9 weeks now when collection was supposed to be two and still not gone. Since take over they’re not interested. Used for years before but now Do not use.

Ive given one star because the booking process was excellent. But delivery driver so poor in the end i didnt accept the skip and got a full refund. I have used them before but wont use them again.

My experience with Bateman Skips was mixed. The initial delivery and later exchange of the skip were both handled promptly, which I appreciated. However, the collection was a serious letdown.

The skip remained on my property for nearly two months after it was due. Despite calling the company twice over the span of two weeks and being told the issue had been forwarded to the logistics team, nothing happened.

Only after submitting a formal complaint via their website form was the skip finally removed — the following day. I’m glad it was resolved, but it shouldn’t have taken that long or required chasing.

Overall, a decent service let down by poor follow-up and communication.

Please do not use. They never answer the phone or respond to emails. The skip is still sat on my driveway 6 weeks late for collection.the very few times I got lucky and someone answered the phone I was told im on the priority list and the skip will be collected "today", however it's still not gone. Absolutely ridiculous, I've given up hope that the skip will be removed.

Takes 6 times to get though to someone, for 2 weeks told I was on urgent list. Took talking to 2 managers to get the skip moved.
Many skip companies in Bristol, use them please

they didn't collect our final skip for 8 weeks after multiple promises and running out of license for the street - then they tried to get me to pay for an extra skip for the extra flytipping on it - which was their issue - we alreaey had 2 tarpaulins taken from it and they simply flytipped. Have called it into the council for flytipping - will never use again. Note this is no longer owned by the bateman family but by a company in cheshire officers so thanks Claire Elms & Alasdair Rider Spring Lodge, 172 Chester Road, Helsby, Cheshire, England, WA6 0AR of RSK group - who happen to be environmental consultants no less!

Beth in the office was great, responsive & really helpful. She managed to get us skips when we needed them, at the size we needed & then renewed when we needed to keep one of the skip. When we needed collection this was arranged & collected as promised. Thanks again & we’ll be in touch on the next protect!

Terrible company do not use this company!
Called around a few skip companies in the area as was looking for one that would accomodate a first am drop off due to contractor obligations. They promised we would be first. On the day called at 9am as was told between 7-7.30am first drop off. Was told at this time I shouldnt of been told this as am means up to 12:30. Got to 12:30 still no skip, called again to be told he was just on his way back out should be should be 20 mins. Skip was not dropped off until 13:19 which didnt even make morning. During my numerous calls, each member of staff gave a different response, clearly all false representation and severe attitude! Contractors were sitting around all morning doing nothing due to this. False promises just to get your business. Ironic thing is they turned up at 6:30am to collect it once finished. Went with a more reputable company for further skip hire to complete works.

Cameron has been super helpful! Our skip is booked for the near future but they've been great at helping us rebook when plans changed. Really appreciate it!

They seem to believe they are doing you a favour and deliver and collect when it suits them and its down to the customer to wait around to give them access when they get around to it the lady in the office does not care about any customer issues - avoid them at all costs

Skip ordered for 9.30am, two weeks in advance. Was informed it would be close to that time. Called at 10.30 as it hadn't arrived and was told it would be with me by midday. Called again at 12.45 as it hadn't arrived and was told it would be in the next hour probably. Zero stars would be given if it was possible.
Each time I called I was told I was the next delivery. Incompetence or lies. One or the other.

We have been waiting more than 3 weeks for Batemans to remove a full skip from our drive. Lost count of the phone calls. Lost count of the promises it would be collected tomorrow.

This company employ's a person who thought that it was ok to threaten a heavily pregnant woman and scare a child with autism. He's very rude and obnoxious and needs many lessons in how to speak to people instead of bullying them, hopefully karma pays him a visit and not just the police
