Bike seems to be biking well. Fair prices.
My only gripe is customer service.

They definitely have a ‘not my job’ attitude in that workplace when it comes to customer service. Despite 4 people in the workshop, it took over 3 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me, the only customer, standing and waiting. The same on the return except there was a guy working on a bike right in the front practically at the counter and he dared not make any eye contact whilst I waited for over 2 minutes.

It amazes me how people can be that way. Its just rude and unfriendly.

I only had pickup and drop off experience. Nothing wasn't really explained about what was done and not really sure if any else was checked or not. There wasn’t much of a convo on picking up other than the to advise to come back if something is not quite right, which appreciate.

Other than that, I was pleased with the repair on my bike.

Of knowledge and I learned a lot. A slight hiccup on the first bike I received and in all honesty, if I wasn’t a complete ignoramus about cycling, I probably could have and should have lived with. Dan however, was extremely patient and understanding with me and my need to have the absolute perfect bike and resolved my issue with speed.

Friendly and professional customer service. Very knowledgeable mechanics.

Was told a bike was in stock and then filled out the entire cycle to work scheme to then be told it wasnt in stock and had to restart the entire procedure.

Didnt help me to resolve this and just told me to go to a differnet store.

I went to Balfe Hackney to fix my Brake pads and Mark the mechanic was very kind and humble to fix my brake pads then and there itself. Mark was very efficient, expert in his job, polite and had great communication skills. Within minutes he fixed all the problems on my bike. He is definitely an asset to Balfe’s Hackney store.

Really helpful and patient service, whilst I was working through a cycle to work voucher scheme process. Great deal on the bike too!

Every visit was exceptional and the staffs were very friendly and helpful in guiding me - choosing the most appropriate bike and accessories that suit my needs.

Great service, went in to purchase a new bike with some quite specific requirements. They were super helpful, got the bike and the kit that I wanted, and had it all made up within 2 days. Excellent.

I visited the store to have a chat about what bike would suit my needs and a few days later, Sophie made sure the bike was ready for me to have a test ride before making my decision to buy the bike.

Happy with the team’s guidance and support in ordering my new bike on the cycle to work scheme. It’s the first adult bike I have bought, so I had many questions. The process was straight forward and even though the bike delivery was delayed over Christmas, the store kept me fully updated.

Spoke with Peter at their warehouse. Extremely helpful, clear communication and friendly advise. The journey from ordering to pre-dispatch has been exceptional. Looking forward to the bike now.

Balfe's team were incredibly patient with me when I was dithering over two bikes. I had several test rides and they didn't get remotely annoyed with my indecision. They also very happily fitted all my extra parts.

I ordered a part from the online store and picked it up in the local shop. When I got home I noticed the part was slightly different to what I ordered but it was still great and I used that. The guy in the shop was super helpful and friendly.
