Just ordered a new car

Just ordered a new car. After hitting technical snags with the ordering tools Sara and Mikki, from the ordering team, stepped in and did a fantastic job of smoothing things out for me. Looking forward to receiving the new car, the team have arranged a straight key for key drop off and collection of the old car.

Scam worst company ever

Scam worst company ever. I rented car in spain and more than 2 months without car, they don't answer the emails. Not solution at all. And they charge the money every month

Breach of contract

If Ayvens provide car leasing services from your employer - please think very very very carefully before signing up, despite the tax benefits.

Ayvens have decided to re-write the previously agreed and signed upon contract at their will to charge more. To me, this is a gross breach of contract, involving all legal and ethical ramifications. Honestly, I wish I'd known this before I signed up with Leaseplan / Ayvens via my employer.

Also, I'd highly recommend getting third party breakdown cover in addition to what is 'provided' by Ayvens. I've had to use my third party cover (lucky it's bundled into a package with other services) TWICE now because Ayvens said to, 'call back on Monday' when I've had a breakdown.

Would avoid this company like COVID19.

Excellent Customer Service from LeasePlan Despite Manufacturer Issues

After a lengthy and difficult experience with my Ford Kuga PHEV, I want to thank the team at LeasePlan/Ayvens for their ongoing support in helping to bring the matter to a close.

The vehicle suffered from repeated issues, including multiple breakdowns, major safety recalls with no immediate fix, and an overall lack of communication and ownership from Ford themselves. Despite following all the manufacturer’s guidance, the problems persisted, often leaving me without a reliable vehicle for extended periods, all while trying to balance family life with two young children.

Throughout this, LeasePlan remained engaged and responsive. In particular, I want to highlight the support I received from both Iqrah and Rebecca. They were understanding, always kept me informed, and shown commitment to helping find a resolution.

With their help, the vehicle was finally returned, something I’m incredibly grateful for. LeasePlan's handling of the situation was professional, fair, and customer-first, even in the face of challenges caused by the manufacturer.

Thank you again to the LeasePlan/Ayvens team, your support made a difficult situation manageable, and I couldn’t have asked for better service.

Accounts team are incompetent
After 18 months they still haven’t taken a direct debit from my account. Resulting in my account getting into arrears. 18 phones and 18 manual payments and two formal complaints and their accounts team still can’t get it right. Customer service assured me every month it is sorted. Every month the payment isn’t taken. Every month I have the same conversation which is incredibly frustrating. Do your self a favour and DO NOT use this company they are completely useless.

Ayvens Is a Complete Disgrace — Avoid at All Costs

Ayvens has been the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Four years of lies, delays, shifting figures, and total refusal to take responsibility. They’ve destroyed my peace of mind and dragged out a situation that should have been resolved long ago.
❌ I never asked for a phone call — stop inventing excuses.
❌ You claimed my complaint was logged, but left me waiting 9 days without a response. That’s not complaint handling — that’s contempt for customers.
❌ Your so-called “low” early termination fees are an insult. If they were low, I wouldn’t still be stuck dealing with your incompetence.
❌ You can’t even keep your figures straight — they change constantly, and you clearly don’t have a clue why.
❌ Your delays and errors are blocking me from buying a new car. Stop trying to deflect blame.
❌ Don’t waste time telling me to go to the Financial Ombudsman — if this isn’t resolved fairly now, I’ll see you in court.
❌ Still no invoice you claim to have sent — just more empty promises.
Ayvens is a shambles. I wouldn’t trust them with anything. If you value your time, sanity, or money — stay well away.

2 years and counting

Do not do business with this company,I was sold a car that was not as advertised its had faults on it from week one but this company simply doesn't not want to know,one of the faults is a dangerous one with the brakes just jamming on for no apparent reason,the other is the infotainment system it just goes off and stays off until you lock the car up for half an hour and then start it up again,the excuses I have had to listen to is unbelievable they are saying now I can't use my phone because it's not compatible but what they didn't know was that this is my second phone since owning the car my first an iPhone the 2nd attempt Samsung ultra 2 of the biggest phone companies in the world as for Ayvens they just take whatever Volkswagen tell them.Finally to get me to go away they offered me an early settlement figure of over £7000 this hasn't taken into account that the car is not fit for purpose not as advertised (missold) and a dangerous to drive,I will fight this tooth and nail this company & Leaseplan are a farce,expect more reviews the longer it goes on in am sick of hearing the excuses and timewasting,and forget the BVLRA they just back the car companies up to the hilt as it is them that pay their wages.There should be an overall Ombudsman to watch and act on what these companies do.

8 months and still waiting

Appalling business to deal with. Original request raised in October 2024 which I have followed up 9 times on the phone or in writing. I have had NO response from Ayvens with the exception of one holding email. I've escalated via their complaints procedure which has also been ignored. No one is willing to take ownership of the matter. A frustrating and completely unacceptable experience.

AVOID ORDERING WITH AYVENS AT ALL COSTS

I made the mistake of ordering a vehicle through my work EV scheme and this meant dealing with Ayvens.

In terms of experience - it started bad, and it's progressively deteriorated.

My car arrived today... Only that's what should have happened, had their 3rd rescheduled delivery date been true. Basically what I've learned is Ayvens get you to commit to a sweet salary sacrifice deal and then they just lie to you at every point thereafter.

But at least they have the courtesy to tell you if your car isn't going to arriv... Oh actually,no they don't.

They allow you to plan your life on the assumption that you'll be getting the vehicle you've ordered and then leave you hanging. When you speak to them, they tell you to speak to the dealership. I called the dealership today... They've never heard of the order I've placed for my car. That's reassuring.

Tomorrow I have spinal surgery at a hospital 45 miles away. I live in a rural town with no Uber and no taxi firms. I'm now scrambling to find a taxi that will take me there or I'll face cancelling this. It will mean walking around for many more months in pain,bit it won't be half as painful the experience of dealing with Ayvens has been.

Ayvens are great, especially for our 1 year old,who won't be going to nursery tomorrow because of their incompetence.

The most embarrassing thing is that the car hasn't even been built - it was an existing stock vehicle that I accepted on the basis that it would arrive within 3 months.

Just to put that into perspective, Ayvens are taking the best part of £45k off me and they can't even get a ready-built car from the port to my local dealership within 3 months! That's a cracking business model.

If by any chance it does arrive tomorrow - I won't be able to charge it anyway... as their recommended installation hasn't even been confirmed yet.

In summary, deal with Ayvens if you want stress, disappointment and financial losses in your life.

Some staff go above and beyond

This review is for Sara from the ordering team. Super helpful in a stressful situation, went significantly above and beyond. I required a vehicle ASAP, however when placing the order, we learned the delivery date had extended from 12 weeks to 20 weeks. Given the urgency from my side, she made extra phone calls to find another vehicle on my shortlist that was available much sooner and alleviated my stressful personal situation. Whilst others could have just given the stock standard procedural response, Sara had great initiative and EQ to find a positive outcome for all parties involved. Thank you!
