Literally posted this to then check emails and a email came through from the manager- talk about timing!
So they have finally resolved my complaint offered some replacement boards and I have had the incorrect fixtures swapped for the correct ones. They have apologised.
It is disappointing it took over a week for them to agree to my resolution request but better later than never.
This company should be open on a Saturday I feel as this would not of become a huge issue if I could of rung them and got them over to swap the damaged boards and bring the correct fixtures I’d ordered.

It’s with a heavy heart I’m sharing my recent review of this company. Came highly recommended by the tradesperson who was doing the work on a decking project. Spend over £2k they messed up my order I get human error but it had a huge impact on the project as I only had the person to lay it on Saturday (22/6) So they dropped off wrong fixtures which they forgot in main order. They didn’t check my decking boards had 6 damaged- they don’t open on Saturday. This resulted in wasting 2 + hours during around trying to get the right fixtures spending more money - paying mate £29 for fuel. Had to make on the spot decision- forced to use damaged boards ( delivered with no protective packaging) Ended up having to just lay with inadequate number of fixtures and worked until late. Gave this completely of opportunity to resolve - emailed them Monday (24/6) given what I dealt with expected a call that day. I had to chase rechase justify my actions - they did try calling once sadly was in a meeting but still no one has responded it’s now Wednesday (3/7) don’t have a secure decking have guests with small children due - no resolution just told I should of called Monday to swap! As I said I get human error but they should of resolved this Monday especially given I explained I was short on time to resolve complete project. Absolutely flabbergasted and in complete shock. It’s a real pity as they were so great up to this point. It’s like they are hoping I just give up and they are not dealing with their errors and lack of respect for my order. Expensive composite decking boards should be inspected and protected!

order placed in the morning for fence panels, by the afternoon they were delivered. very friendly helpful deliveryman. quality of panels is 10/10... 5star, so impressed and happy with my purchase, makes usual diy chain panels look flimsy and feel very cheap. these are well made, strong and robust and look like they will last for years.

Went to Ava fencing on Friday 26th to order some fence panels went to office and told I could not go and look at the panels but I ordered them any way I ordered 8 panels a 6ft by 3 ft and two 6ft by 6ft panels told I would get them Monday afternoon by approx 14:30 but that did not arrive I was phoned and asked if I could accept 4ft panels and I said no so they said they don’t have enough so they would deliver what they and bring the rest Tuesday and they never arrived so had to phone them and they said they would not be hear today would have to deliver them Wednesday morning why do they take your money and promise a delivery day that they can’t keep and tell lies would never recommend or buy from these again

Following my first extremely positive experience with AVS Havant, I gave them a second order. I called ahead and spoke to Steve and a few hours later went into branch and met him in person.
Again, another friendly member of staff (I think he may be the manager) very personable and knowledgeable. My order totalling £1500 was concluded swiftly and with ease, likewise, arranging the delivery to our second project in as many weeks in Southsea, the driver turned up and in minutes was offloaded with minimal fuss and disruption to what is a very tight narrow road. Yet again another positive experience at AVS Havant.

As a note, the general culture of this branch seems to be one of 'can do,' which is sadly rare in the building merchants locally. Everyone from the guys in the office to the yard team are all helpful and friendly. You would be foolish to go anywhere else in my opinion.

Delivery person was incredibly helpful and polite, also assisted in delivering to side entrance.

Fence panels and post are great no problems, didn’t arrive within 5 days but close 7. But no email or phone call to update me.

Didn't have product ordered.
Alternative product not the same as I ordered dispite being told it was.
Delivery was poseponed three time and took over a week.
Will look elsewhere in future.
