Really friendly knowledgeable and helpful

Put my order in for my fencing at Ringmer branch a couple of weeks before the Easter break when my wife phoned them they had not got all of it there but were going up to another depot for the rest no problem we said we weren't going to do the fence over the break. When we phoned again only to be told it was still at Godalming. As I'm a truck driver I went to pick it up myself. 1 hour in their yard with a forklift driver that needed spec savers as one of the panels was busted completely the bags of postcrete were split . Good service dropped a star as had advised where we are located when ordering yet the delivery driver had not read this and rang us as could not find our house!
Learnt that it was his first day as an agency driver, as understand AVS cannot get/retain enough drivers.{affect of worldwide shortage of HGV drivers maybe?}

When they did finally answer the phone at 3 different branches and head office they were rude and unhelpful.

Quality goods delivered on time, friendly service too. Can't fault them.

I bought a corner post and the loader was very helpful and courteous, and helped me position it in my estate car. Exceptional customer service. Thanks

Brilliant service, ended up collecting instead of having a delivery due to delivery date being after I had people to do the work. Delivery charge was refunded. Great service when called to explain the situation about delivery and was able to collect the next day, quick efficient pick up- can't fault it.

There was a disconnect between what I ordered online and the information sent to the timber yard which meant I had to make two journeys instead of one as what I wanted and ordered wasn't available.
Longer journeys than expected too as the "Guildford" branch isn't actually in Guildford! What's wrong with saying where the branch is?
People at the yard were helpful and pleasant otherwise this would have been a one star review.
Sort out your web ordering please.

Very helpful when arranging delivery and the quality of the fencing is way better than Wickes! I know because I slightly under ordered and had to buy a couple of extra boards from Wickes...nothing like as good.

Pretty disappointed with the service , stock on the webshop is not really in stock at the supplier , they quote 3-5 days to deliver , my delivery took over three weeks , they at no time contacted me to explain or apologize for the delay , instead I had to constantly contact them , pretty poor service really .
The delivery driver was cheerful and efficient and the products were good quality otherwise I'd have given zero stars , won't be using them again .

We were kept informed. Delivery was efficient.

Received the correct timber as expected, however the delivery service was poor on this occasion.
Delivery was about a week and arranged for a Tuesday. Called lunchtime and told it was come in afternoon. Called end of day and told it would come Wednesday. Called Wednesday, couldn't find order number and was told it would come Thursday. It arrived Thurs afternoon. Frustrating to speak to many different people and be lied to.

I've used Avs fencing for many years right from the beginning of them starting up , never let me down collecting my orders or delivery on site ,I don't do so much fencing these days , but I know they are there fully stocked when I need them many thanks

Good service, there even phoned me back when they missed my call.

Ordering was easy delivery was delayed by a week due to shortage.
Delivery was left in the middle of drive so I had to move so I could get in and driver had also left strapping thrown in the drive .
Emailed company with photos where kind enough to refund delivery charge .
