Had a nightmare trying to get Landlords insurance since 2022 since I had to claim for fire damage. The standard companies refused to quote.

Chloe went to a specialist and her perseverance managed to get me a landlord insurance policy in place so my property is now covered for any issues that may or may not arise.

As we were abroad on holiday at the time, telephone contact was difficult and we were approaching the renewal deadline. However, Gallagher’s WhatsApp communication made everything seamless. Caitlyn kept us fully informed at every stage, allowing us to set up the policy quickly and at a very competitive price.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience genuinely warrants one.

I purchased travel insurance with Zurich Insurance Group expecting support during a difficult situation. Instead, what I encountered was a frustrating and exhausting claims process handled by Gallagher that felt more like dealing with a debt collection agency than a customer service team.

Despite providing clear and honest information, I was repeatedly asked for unrealistic and unreasonable evidence — including documentation that is simply not accessible to a passenger (such as official traffic incident reports). Rather than assisting, the process felt designed to delay, deflect, and ultimately avoid paying legitimate claims.

There was little to no understanding of real-world situations, no flexibility, and certainly no sense of customer care. At a time when support is expected, the experience instead added unnecessary stress.

In my view, this insurance is not worth purchasing. When you actually need it, you may find yourself facing more resistance than support.

I would strongly recommend others to carefully consider alternatives before relying on this cover.
