I’d give zero stars if could

I’d give zero stars if could. They sent me a link to update my information which I did. 2 weeks later and no update regarding my appointment for a scan. Called them and got through to a call centre that was completely unhelpful. Just kept repeating what I’m assuming was a scripted response. They were more than willing to book me in and take €180 off me but when I asked why I hadn’t had any contact from them for 2 weeks they just hung up. Absolutely shocking customer service, I won’t be using their services.

Nula ayuda telefónica

Las personas encargadas de solucionarte las dudas y los errores mediante las llamadas telefónicas, ni te solucionan los errores ni te ayudan, solo pasan de una a otra sin ayudarte, es lamentable que ni para recoger datos importantes te den un buen servicio.

2 weeks and still no report sent to GP

Still missing the report for my GP after having ultrasound done 2 weeks ago - I was told it would be sent to them in 2-5 days. You can’t get hold of anyone at affidea who can follow up on the missing report, and nobody emails you back when you contact the email address they advise you to. Only gave 2 stars as the service at the clinic on the day was really great. But the follow up trying to get the actual report after the ultrasound has been a nightmare

I can't praise Affidea Northwood…

I can't praise Affidea Northwood enough. This is my 3rd visit this year. The admin staff are so welcoming, the service is spotlessly clean, it's fast and efficient and the medical professionals are thorough and excellent.

Tried to sort out an incorrect payment…

Tried to sort out an incorrect payment problem my wife had. She was given a non existant number to call if the payment was not returned in 14 days. I called the number on the website. There is no way to speak to accounts or anyone else in authority.

MRI for Thoracic Spine…

I've got GP referral for Thoracic Spine MRI in Affidea. Within 2 weeks I received text to register, which I did and few days later got phone call from Appointment Centre Team to arrange appointment. As I am not private client I've been told that my scan can be done in 4 months time! I explained that I am having chest pains from my spine and asked if this I could be seeing sooner. But person on the phone was very rude, with zero compassion, said if I pay €300, which I don't have, I can have a scan tomorrow. This is disgrace. There was no 'sorry' or 'please' words from the person on the phone, very cold call. Very poor customer service. Felt like she didn't care about patient, only about money. Few days ago I ended in hospital A&E due to my chest pains, which was confirmed pain is not cardiac and its related the spine/back. Rang this time Affidea in Naas to ask if MRI can be done sooner. Receptionist was nicer than previous one, but I've have been told the same as before, they can't do anything for me unless I pay for the scan. I asked to be put on the cancellation list, which girl actually done that, but she said it happens very very rarely, near impossible. So I'll have to live with constant back and chest pain for the next 4 months and so, because I am public patient with GP referral.
I seems like Affidea doesn't care about people, only money, such a shame....

Affidea Tallaght Cross. I was there in Affidea Tallaght this…

I was there in Affidea Tallaght this morning for an abdominal ultrasound. The receptionist was a bit late but when she came in, she literally had everyone sorted in about 30 seconds. I was called almost straight away and the radiographers were a delight. Very gentle and patient and so quick. I would highly recommend this facility as it is also spotlessly clean and smells lovely. Thanks so much guys.

Waiting two months after the doctors…

Waiting two months after the doctors referral, I finally rang them and got a cancellation, the receptionist had no Idea why it took so long, received the MRI image 3 days later with no report, my doctor still hasn't received the image or report after 2 weeks, still waiting after contacting them.

Treated horrifically by Kilkenny radiologist

Treated horrifically by radiologist in Kilkenny. I am a wheelchair user with a physical disability and the medical professional ignored me and refused to speak directly to me. He spoke above me and only directed conversation to the person accompanying me. When told that I could speak for myself as an intelligent woman he said in a sarcastic surprised tone ‘oh really?’. He continued to refuse to speak to me and made orders to the person accompanying me ‘tell her to move here’ ‘tell her to put her feet here’. I’ve never experienced such a blatant lack of respect and pure ignorance- disability discrimination in its obvious form. Hoping nobody else experiences this, if you have a physical disability do NOT go to affidea, for anyone do not choose affidea if you want appropriate customer service and to be treated with respect.

Very rude staff

My son had a refferal for a wrist mri through the gp direct access scheme.
This was Affidea tallaght tonight 12th April 2024.
My gp told me he could have an mri though this scheme I was sent a link and filled out everything on line all the time I filled information out it stated right wrist mri and payment was ok as it was the gp scheme I got confirmation of appointment and another link yesterday to confirm everything.got there tonight and receptionist said to me oh this isn’t covered anymore only certain body parts that will be 355 euro I explained everything and she turned around and said well that’s not part of it anymore but if he has another body part that can be done .
Is she for real I couldn’t believe it I was there for him to get a wrist mri she was super rude another girl came out and said it wasn’t covered I explained that all the way through booking it stated wrist and that was covered with this scheme.
My poor son just stood there
Was so mad and annoyed with there attitude
Complete waste of time

Most terrible customer service experience…

I have never experienced such terrible customer service. The agent simply ignored me and didn't reply when I asked a simple question.
I rang on Friday morning and was told to submit a referral letter and processing was 48 hours. This aligns with what they advise on their phone system (dial 2 for information on referral letters). I rang back on Monday and was told 7-10 days. I explained the urgency and was told they couldn't do anything until the referral letter was processed.
I rang again on Wednesday and was told 10-14 days. When I asked why the time kept changing I was simply ignored. The agent would not speak.
I have never dealt with such bad service. I explained the urgency and the agent simply repeated 10-14 days but would not answer whenever I asked why it kept changing. Eventually I had to hang up because there was nothing but silence, I asked was anyone there but nothing...
Still in shock and particularly upset over this experience.

Had my ct scan on 9th March

Had my ct scan on 9th March
Was told I would receive a link and download their app and I could view the images .
A month later and 6 telphone call and e mail the results have not being sent to my Doctor and still no link
An absolutely appalling service and experience.
I was told today there was a back log and to sign into my account now.
I said I haven't received the link.
This is a totally unprofessional firm with customer service practically nil

I visited Affidea, Dundrum

I visited Affidea, Dundrum. My appointment was made within 24 hours. I arrived on schedule and was greeted by Colette in a very friendly manner. George was the person who performed my ultrasound. All done in a very friendly, relaxing and professional manner. Highly recommend those two staff members and Affidea Dundrum in general.

Mixed Feelings

Affidea Tallaght was fine when we were there in person, all dealings were professional and efficient but I've since had a lot of frustration trying to contact them by phone or email afterwards, their phone rings out constantly and when it was finally answered it was dealt with by an unhelpful person.
Pity, because if they got that part of the customer service right they might have a lot more satisfied customers.

Complete waste of time

Complete waste of time. It is not a walk in service. It's a walk in a make an appointment service. If you are public you pay for the scans, x-rays etc which are not cheap. If you have private insurance then you pay a % and they claim the rest from your insurance company. That's all standard. The bad part is how long it takes to hear back from them after your MRI or x-ray. I received my MRI images through their app in about 48 hours (I'm not a doctor so they are not much use to me) but I am still waiting for my report/results from the 20th February. If you try contact them you just get told to go through their website for generic copy and paste answers. Swift care centers are much quicker and cheaper.

Alternative treatments option - no

Drove all the way down to naas to attend minor injury clinic on Monday 27.2.24. Got there just before 5pm and advised they are full. Go to a&e. It advertises walk in clinic no appointments. It doesn't close until 8pm. Waste of time
