Amazing trip and extremely well managed and coordinated start to finish. Chris is an expert in the field and made the trip fun but also appreciate the significant challenge of it. Brilliant experience, would recommend to anyone except those who like ‘faff’, as one thing you will quickly learn about our Chris, is that guy does not like faff. Other than that, couldn’t recommend enough.

I booked this by myself, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. As soon as I got on the mini but to travel to Scotland,I knew I was going to have a good experience. Chris is so professional, he had everything organised from start to finish and his knowledge about the mountains and terrain are second to non. I knew I was in good hands. Absolutely brilliant.

Absolutely the best. Simultaneously the hardest and best weekend of my life. When Chris promises you to get you from car park to car park in 24 hrs, he does everything possible to make it happen. Chris is an amazing guy & did everything he could to get us over the line within 24 hours. Everything was planned down to the minute, with our last guy crossing the line at exactly 24hr with 30s to spare. Even taking over one of our minibus drivers so we didn’t lose time after Scafell. Without his tough love I know for sure I absolutely would not have made it. If you want the best chance possible to actually complete it within 24hrs chris is your guy, could not recommend active mountaineering enough! 10/10 weekend.

Chris and the team are literally amazing and pushed our team to the very end to ensure we finished the 3 peak challenge on time, and we did 💪🏻 Was gruelling but lots of laughs - Thank you ☺️

Excellent tour guide, really well organised, fun, yet felt the challenge! Chris made sure as many of us as possible could complete the challenge in 24hrs, which was difficult. He pushed us to our limits, but that's exactly the sort of leader you want to get the job done.

I could not recommend Chris and his team enough. His support and encouragement gave us as a team a weekend to remember.

I now know there is absolutely no way that we could have done the N3P Challenge without Chris running those 24 hours! He had 30 of us whipped into shape and up and down those mountains to the timings required to finish in under 24 hours!

A weekend I won't forget! 100% recommend.

Had an amazing time from start to finish.
Chris and his team clearly know what they’re doing and it’s planned meticulously down to the minute.
The only minor criticisms I had was the minibus is too small to carry overnight bag plus hiking bag and give yourself leg room, Chris has however addressed this and is purchasing his own minibus with more room so hopefully that will make things run even smoother.
The team were excellent at motivating the group as a whole and this meant we all made it in the allotted time.
Would I do the 24 hour 3 peaks again? Yes
Would I use Active Mountaineering for their other challenges/excursions?
Yes
Would I recommend Active Mountaineering?
Absolutely

What an experience! Pushed to my absolute limit but it was worth it. The whole experience was planned to the second to ensure we crossed the finish line within the 24 hour time limit. Chris and his team know their stuff and their way around the mountains which makes you feel safe and reassured at all times. Don’t underestimate the difficulty of this challenge but I’m so happy to have shared this experience with such a great group of people. I would highly recommend Active Mountaineering. Thank you for helping me tick another challenge off my bucket list.

If I could give more stars I would. Active Mountaineering (Chris) was brilliant from start to finish. The 3 Peaks National Challenge was by far the hardest activity that I’ve done and pushed me to the limit. Chris and his team got me through this Challenge and the sense of achievement that I have for managing to complete this is immense. Chris has an excellent style of motivation to make sure you get up the mountains on time. He is very direct and strait to the point when it come to timings and motivation. You just need to listen and you will reap the rewards at the end. The advice and knowledge given at every step of the way was brilliant and could not think of a better Leader to get you to the finish line. For any other activities or trips, I will only use Active Mountaineering. They deliver on everything.

National Three Peaks Challenge under 24h
Following an extensive search for a company that genuinely commits to the 24h challenge (my stopwatch started ticking at the bottom of Ben Nevis and stopped at Miner’s Gate following the descent from Snowdon), I signed up with Active Mountaineering Team. A superior team that conducts a meticulous plan down to the minute (even your bathroom breaks 😃). When Chris promises to take you up and down three mountains in 24 hours, he undoubtedly delivers. This challenge is for individuals who enjoy pushing their limits; it's far from a leisurely hill walk. Do not underestimate the N3P challenge - it requires preparation and training in advance.

Just completed the 3 peaks challenge with Chris and wonderful team of guides. Up there with the most challenging but amazing experience. Once in a lifetime achievement. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Chris pushing us and keeping us strong mentally. Great to meet like minded people by the end of the trip it felt like we had all known each other for years. I strangely find myself wanting to do it all over again. A memory I will never forget. Thank you Chris

I would just like to say a big thank you to Chris and his friendly fun professional caring enthusiastic team .
My friend and I travelled from Eastbourne to do this challenge and it was amazing, learnt something about ourselves in beautiful scenery w a good team !
Chris is highly professional runs everything with extreme precision and every detail covered. Food, timings, advice on mountain conditions, clothing required etc listen to him !
His personality is fun but strict and he doesn’t take any crap. He has a job to do which we paid for which was to complete the challenge in 24hrs of which we did in 23.37 !
For me his banter enthusiasm knowledge and caring nature made it a challenge that will stay with me (even though I did moan a bit )
Our weather conditions were terrible blizzard , gale force winds rain but we all still made it with a smile on our faces !!!!!
Thank you Chris and team , I think I made some new friends and hopefully we will do it again next year and all meet up to do something slightly more chilled !

One bit of advice read his bloody training program as it’s harder than u can imagine and at a fast pace nothing can prepare you and listen to his knowledgable advice !!!!
U don’t want to be at the front or the back as he has a certain saying for those people !! And his jokes are terrible humour him !
I totally recommend this company to anyone if u want to get it done in 24 hrs he will give u his heart and soul to make it happen with alot of banter on the way

Had an absolutely brilliant time doing the 24hr National 3 peaks challenge with Active Mountaineering. It's definitely not a challenge that should be taken lightly, there will be pain and you will be deprived of sleep but don't let that stop you. Chris and his team were honestly incredible from start to finish with the organisation, attention to detail, technical & geographical knowledge, and the care shown to each and every person to get them over the finish line. You'll be in totally safe hands with this very experienced company.
