Travelled to Magaluf with this company was an absolute joke they don’t stick to what is supposed to be included in the package that you pay for. First day we arrived the rep was rude off the bat about something. You are supposed to be helped with finding the job roles that you have chosen before you come out in this case ours was ticket sales but no effort was made to get me and my partner jobs then after two/three weeks we are told by our rep to just go out and look for jobs in places ourselves and that it wouldn’t be the job we came out here to do. The apartments were rank as-well as the fact they told us it was 4 people per apartment then weeks before our arrival date they changed it to 6 per apartment which meant 2 people had single beds in the living room. The kitchen was ridiculously small with just 2 hobs and a microwave to make food with. The fridge didn’t even work properly nothing you put in there was kept cold if you put ice in the ridiculously small freezer it would just melt. The bathroom stank of drains because the sink was just pipes duct taped. Together with a bucket under for when it leaked every time the water was on. The shower curtain pole was held up by the chain of what was the plug for the bath so there was no plug for the bath or sink but the lovely clogged with hair plug hole still filled with water anytime you had a shower. Could keep going on about how bad the apartment arrangements baring in mind we paid £900 per person for the accommodation for 1 month and to be found jobs by Ace working holidays you’d think they’d somewhat have somewhere less of a tip. You have to pay an extra €100 deposit which you weren’t told about until you arrived they took €15 from that to pay for the apartment clean when you are all booted out which seemed funny because when we arrived our apartment was definitely not cleaned from the previous months guest bags of their rubbish was left on our balcony for the whole of our stay. Dirty water leaked out on the balcony constantly. The people who got jobs did that themselves when they were on nights out and just agreed to work and didn’t even know until someone told them the next day. Company is completely unprofessional and a scam for money with a no-refund policy which now makes complete sense the conditions were so bad that me and my partner left early to go stay somewhere else because the amount of sleep you get was very limited with it being party central people coming in at different times of the night/morning made it very hard to get any decent sleep whatsoever. You can tell they have it all on the basis that they take as much money as possible at the littlest cost on their end possible 6 people pay £900 for a 2 bedroom apartment so roughly £5.5 for those conditions it’s mental. Even the events week that you did the week of arrival was shit cheap events that cost them nothing and we did gringos bingo and had to pay €50 each and we were sat right out the back out the way in the cheaper table seats we looked on line and the tables we sat at were nothing above €30. Overall a completely robbery do not use this company if your wanting to work abroad go over off your own accord and find some accommodation yourself would work a lot better for you….. Ace Working holidays is an amazing stepping stone into working abroad, they do not necessarily guarantee you work however they do get you in touch with the right people in several party destinations thanks to the reps, I personally had difficulty finding barwork here in magaluf for the first week but due to making friends with a few workers from the month before I was able to get myself a trial shift and now I’m prepared to stay the entire summer thanks to the workers group chats that Ace invites you to.

My daughter (21) and her boyfriend (23) went to Magaluf at the start of July, being promised the world.
After paying £900 each, they arrived in the resort to find that their accommodation had been changed to what they had originally been told. From 4 people in a 2 bed apartment, to 6 with the sofa being taken out of the living room and replaced with two single beds. No communal area for use other than the dirty bathroom, 'kitchen' and small balcony. The 'kitchen' facilities were a two ring hob, a microwave and a fridge that didn't work. This was reported to the rep but they were told that they just had to get on with it. They were also hit with an £85 deposit charge on arrival that they had not been told about.
They were told they had to pay an additional amount of £150 to take part in the first week 'activities', which included a pub crawl in Santa Ponsa, Gringo's Bingo and a few other things that were so poorly planned they ended up not doing them.
After the first week, they were supposed to start work - they had both applied in the UK for the ticket selling jobs. They were told that they needed additional training for this but after asking daily when they would be doing the training, they were told that no one was available to do it with them. A
s the rep they had walked out after the first two days, they were left with a 19 yr old 'rep' who was no help at all. She told them to go and find their own jobs! But as UK citizens with no work visa this was impossible.
By the end of the second week, they had run out of money and were eating once a day. Staying in their crappy little apartment room because going out involved spending money and the pool area was vile. The rep stopped replying to messages when they were asking for help. They had no return flight booked as they thought they were being sold the dream and would be there for up to 3 months. Mum to the rescue - I've had to pay and book them flights to come home, as well as renting an apartment for them to move into until they come home.
The company is a disgrace - they have 2 apartments for workers in Magaluf, each now sleeping 6 people paying £900 each for the month. As my daughter and boyfriend moved out - another 2 people were being moved into their room THAT NIGHT!! When they messaged the rep to say that they were leaving, suddenly she was happy to reply instantly to messages. No refunds, no help, no sorry. Again, after numerous messages, it took 4 days for their deposit to be returned.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do NOT do the things they say they will - they just want your money!!

SO MANY LIES!! Where do I start??
My daughter was supposed to go to Cyprus in June. She firstly paid the €30 registration fee, but a week later the full amount of €800 was taken off her account without any warning. She needed a visa, but the company refused to give an address for visa purposes. When we eventually got the addresses we realized why - it is low grade, dirty, dilapidated, unsafe buildings where these kids are staying. She couldn't get her visa in time and tried to cancel, but they refused. We have been trying for a month now and even though it was their fault, they are sticking with the no-refund policy! My daughter worked long and hard for this €800 which she now has NOTHING to show for. They are a bunch of heartless liars who wouldn't blink to steal hard earned money from young people. I'm busy getting legal advice and will not leave it there. I'm also starting up a Facebook page for everyone who has been scammed by them (and there are many!) And don't trust the good ratings and reviews you see - most of them are either written by the employees themselves or people being paid to write them. DON'T USE THEM!!!!

Molly and Kaela were amazing from the jump, always checking if everyone’s alive and okay, bobbing by the rooms to make sure everyone’s happy, the energy is amazing, I had to leave early due to family circumstances but by god I wish I stayed because they kept it amazing, Kaela has a diamond heart and molly is just as amazing, I’ll be back in may for the madness again 🖤

My first week with ace has been amazing! The reps have been so helpful they take us on bar crawls and molly kaela and kenna always bring the energy and make sure we have a good night. Kenna has helped us with finding work straight away and now I already have a job. This experience wouldn’t be the same without the reps.

My experience in zante his been class my rep Welshy/corrie has been helpful with helping me find work and showed me the best experience he’s defo the man for the job plus he’s the man for a class night out defo be back next year also back in august for girls holiday shout out to Welshy never change he also showed my mam a class experience when she come out for a week got her pissed 😂

My Rep Mikey was the best, from day 1 right up to the end he was always there for a laugh and to help with any questions. Ace has good benefit like free cherry entry and pure events entry!! I would tell everyone to do it but it was the reps like Mikey and Mason who made the whole experience 10x more fun and easier with everything like Accomadation and sorting jobs.

Review of Ace Working Holidays

I recently spent 28 days with Ace Working Holidays and wanted to share a balanced account of my experience. While I’ve genuinely loved my time abroad and met some incredible people, there were several areas where Ace fell short of the expectations they set.

The initial 28-day accommodation was quite disappointing. Out of the five apartments available to rent, four had broken or non-functioning air conditioning—something that made the stay uncomfortable, especially given the hot climate. We were also under the impression that it would be easy to stay on long-term after the initial month, but finding permanent accommodation proved to be extremely difficult. Many of us felt misled about how straightforward it would be to secure a place for the rest of the season.

Another issue was around visa advice. We were told that as British citizens, we wouldn’t need a visa, but in reality, that’s not the case for all types of work. It seems that men can mainly do PR roles, while English women are often placed in roles such as shot girling and PR.

On a more positive note, our rep Robbie was fantastic. He was super helpful in getting us work and made a real effort to organise great events, which helped make the experience much more enjoyable. Credit where it’s due—he made a real difference.

Overall, while the social side and the people I met made the trip unforgettable, Ace Working Holidays unfortunately didn’t deliver on some of the key promises that led us to book with them. If you’re considering going with them, I’d recommend doing your own thorough research beforehand and setting realistic expectations.

I came out to Magaluf with ace in June and really recommend coming out with them have such a good week doing the events and meeting loads of new people and liv and Robbie were really good help with helping us get jobs and getting us to go and meet people

The reps were so friendly in Zante they helped me out a lot. I came on my own the bar crawls, fun activities and getting involved in their social media videos helped me make friends. I was a guest for the month of June 2025. We bought an event package once arrived and it was the best money I spent such good value. Highly rate my experience with ace!

I can not thank my reps Kaela and Molly enough they have been absolutely amazing with everything, care about everyone’s well being as well as having a good time, the company is amazing giving us so many perks all summer long along with so many discounts all up and down the strip. I can not wait to come back out with ace working holidays next year.
