i have had over ten mortgages in my life, I have never been subjected to so many pointless requests in my life,the application has taken over three months and Accord have now complained that its taken so long and are threatening to withdraw their offer, meaning i would have to start the whole banal process all over again. The only reason it has taken so long is they want to scrutinise every detail of my financial life, without any reasons given as to why . Even my mortgage advisor has pleaded with them to see sense. The only reason i have stayed with them is i am too far in to start again. They are the worst lender i have ever come across

Generally good, but the porting application is a bit cumbersome.

Accord lend out of the box, and are flexible with there criteria. Processing times were very good so had no problems!

Awful slow service. Spend a fortune getting documents drawn up from accountants. 6 weeks of underwriting for the underwriter to say she’s not sure if we can have an offer or not. Very indecisive time wasters.

I put thousands of pounds into renovating my home after which Accord undervalued the property by 11.5%, actually taking the price lower than what I bought it for. Something about this is just not right, especially considering prices in my area have recently risen by 1.6%.

The communication with the Business Development Manager (BDM), Sophie, is excellent. She is consistently helpful and always clarifies any questions I have, offering great support.

The case processing is fast: valuations are arranged promptly after submission, and the underwriters are highly efficient.

All of the cases I have submitted to Accord so far have quickly received an offer.

This lender has been truly awful. They have been holding up our house sale now for weeks because they do cannot send a simple email to our buyer’s solicitor to confirm they will release the funds. We can’t exchange and, consequently, we have lost our on progression. They previously would not verify their mortgage offer through the usual portal causing a three week delay. They are a joke. DO NOT USE!

overall service very good and whenever we had interaction, all members of staff were personable and efficient.

Absolutely shocking service. Rude staff constant delays and misinformation. Made me jump through hoops when I already pay my mortgage to them and have done for several years. Didn't Staff advise me ways that they would let me borrow extra kept it from me had an independent broker not told me I would still be without a solution. Look down their nose on you and treat you like your nothing. As soon as my fixed term is up I'm leaving. Told me the Solicitor I wanted to use was fine to then tell me no they are notm have had to give them same information multiple times to then be asked for it again. Never leave bad reviews but I'm beyond annoyed.
