Beware of their terms and conditions
Beware of their terms and conditions. A large screen TV arrived damaged and unrepairable due to very bad packaging, when I complained they quoted the terms that I had agreed to that, ‘ in any event, including on this occasion their own neglect,’ the maximum compensation per item is £40, but as a gesture of goodwill they paid £80. On a one thousand pound item!

Thank you for your review, I am sorry that there was damage to the TV which was packed to industry standard, export wrapped and placed within a heavy duty TV module. There was no outer damage to the TV module noted by the delivery team or yourselves at the time of delivery. You rejected the recommended marine insurance cover for your shipment. Again, I apologise that the TV was not working when you unpacked it in Thailand.

Stressless move
From the initial enquiry to the final move, Abels couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Nicky was amazing, supporting us throughout the process making it much less stressful.
Ian and Logan were brilliant on the move day, they couldn't have worked harder.
Overall a fantastic experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend Abels.

We moved house over 4 days at the…
We moved house over 4 days at the hottest time of the year. The crew were always smiling and courteous and worked very hard. They protected the house with carpets and blankets and removed all used packing materials at the end of each day.
They were exceptional , and we were really impressed with their courtesy and willingness to make the move as stress free as possible. Abel’s office team and crew fully deserve their 5 star rating. THANKYOU

Smooth delivery after address hiccup
Abels have just completed Phase 1 of a complicated move to Scotland for us. Jane and the teams involved understood and accommodated its challenges. Unfortunately there was a mistake about the delivery address but this was sorted quickly and then the delivery was smooth and efficient.

Abels: a dreadful experience…
I've had a dreadful experience with Abels. Antiques were damaged, items were left behind and many boxes were haphazardly packed. One was drenched in soy sauce! This was light years away from a 'white glove' service.

Abels handled our challenging move…
Abels handled our challenging move well. The team were very pleasant and helpful as well as efficient. Downsizing from a large family house to an apartment is a very difficult task. Abels pack delicate artwork, clocks and barometers with care.

RELIEVED THE STRESS OF MOVING
As we all know moving home is very stressful and from the beginning ABELs aim was to relieve that stress. From my initial enquiry, the survey, to agreeing dates they did that. The team in the office and the movers where personable and professional. An additional factor for choosing ABELs for me was that I could donate items and store some items through them too. I highly recommend ABELs.

Abels delivered my belongings which were shipped from Australia. From the moment Abels took over the shipment everything went smoothly. The communication was great - even when letting me know that the ship was delayed! On the day everything went according to plan. The 4 people who came were professional, took care of my belongings and the house and were just so friendly and helpful. They were great

An Abel’s driver scraped my car whilst…
An Abel’s driver scraped my car whilst I was stationary. He accepted liability at the scene only for the company/their insurer to then deny it. Thoroughly unprofessional. I would not recommend using them if this is how act.
Your reply is complete rubbish Neil.. I was stationary and witnesses saw your novice driver at fault. He said this himself at the time and my insurer said nothing of the sort. Keep lying. it says a lot about your company.

Thank you for your comment. The video footage from our truck cameras were taken by our insurers who shared with your insures and they both agreed that it was a 50/50 incident. I am sorry if you disagree with the insurance companies decision.
