Great communication from start to finish. Hard working and excellent team work from friendly movers who were efficient and hard working. The move couldn't have gone any better and we were done in a working day.

Having not moved house for 47 years we did not know what to expect. However we need not have worried about anything. Great communication all along the way before and on the day too. The team who came to transport our belongings made us feel at ease from the moment they arrived. So professional and friendly it all went without a hitch. Highly recommended on all counts.

My mother 80 year old mum used them as part of Anglo French removers as they are called which is part of Abel’s - not only did Leanne fail to help my mother with any of the forms ( which I laterally found out that they should have done) Leanne was also aggressive and bullying towards her which left her in tears. I did complain to the company and they accepted that this is not how they operate - the quote also rose from 6 to 12 k as the final bill. To add insult to injury they broke my outdoor glass table extending table which cost 700 pounds new. However their crappy insurance only covers 40 pounds per item. We were never advised of this poor level of cover or the additions which I suppose would have been another hefty premium. Not that we got the choice . shame on you Abel’s you have been absolutely dreadful/ I would advise taking a video and asking them to attend the house for a valuation - which is What we asked of them but they refused. We went with this company because of the reviews but the strength of a company is looking at making things right when they go wrong which this company failed to spectacularly….

Brilliant experience from start to finish! Paul gave us our initial quote and liaised regularly prior to the move date and the 3 lads who did the actual move were excellent - not one bad word to say about them! They went above and beyond to get the move done as seamlessly as possible!

A very big ‘thank you’ to Molly and the team who showed up promptly this morning and couldn’t have been more helpful and reliable.

Highly recommend Abel’s, from start to finish the service was outstanding. The whole team were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful towards my elderly Father. Would only use them going forward.

Great experience with Abel’s. Phil and his team were thoroughly professional, kind and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble. Even when I couldn’t decide on the placement of sofas! I would absolutely recommend Abel’s and will definitely be using them in the future for future moves.

Absolutely miraculous

A fantastic team of, what I can only refer to as ‘packing ninja’s arrived and turned what is usually a most stressful situation into a smooth well oiled relocation machine, powered purely by hobnobs and tea! The unpacking service was by far the best thing we have ever booked! A truly professional service from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough!

Friendly staff, polite and courteous. Nothing is too much trouble. Were able to get us out of trouble after another removal company let us down at short notice.
Very appreciative of our efforts to pack and group things together so loading the lorry was easier.
Packed up furniture and a delicate grandfather clock carefully. Moved furniture and boxes all over the house and checked if anything needed to be moved to a final place prior to finishing.

This was the third time I’ve used Abels Moving Services over a 30 year period and I’ve been very impressed with the quality of their service each time. This time was a part-load of 8 pieces of furniture together with some glass and china. Every item was completely wrapped for safe-keeping on the journey.
As a part-load, delivery was at the company’s convenience, but this meant only a few weeks delay.
The delivery crew were proficient, professional and very pleasant. They unwrapped all the furniture and took away the paper.
All contact with the back office was also smooth and efficient from offer through to completion.

From booking through to delivery the service was excellent. I needed to have Abels pack for me and this was fine with extreme care. I would highly recommend the company.

The team who moved us were all top class; courteous, helpful and hard-working. They really listened to what we wanted and were prepared to turn their hands to any task. They were mindful of the customer experience throughout and towards the end, when we were struggling to finish the unpacking, they gave us extra time. Abel’s may not have been the cheapest option but they were worth every penny.

I used Abel’s recently for a high- net worth client move. Their quote was on par with other firms. They had been highly recommended for higher end moves and seemed very experienced at handling and storing fine art. We were not disappointed. Nicola in the office took care of organising the move and was a reassuring voice during what was a large move going to multiple destinations. The removals team, led by Russell, were careful to protect surfaces and interiors , packed and unpacked carefully and made the move as stress free as possible. Abel’s were very understanding when we had to postpone dates and we used their storage services too. I would recommended Abel’s removal services and plan to use them again for a similar project.

Great service. From the initial survey, through arranging the move, to the moving day itself, everything felt well organised and under control. The packers were amazing, they took really good care of our furniture, art and everything else. Highly recommended.
