I feel like our long journey of infertility was made easier when we came to abc create , very kind and supportive staff . Always checking in even after we had our baby girl .

We cannot express enough how grateful we are for all the support and communication we received throughout our entire treatment. We felt at ease during every appointment and left knowing what to expect going forward. We are grateful that our round of treatment resulted in the arrival of our beautiful daughter.
100% recommended this clinic to anyone.

I would absolutely recommend abc ivf! If it wasn’t for abc team we would not have our precious daughter!! The whole process was easy and I was talked through every step of the way with 24/7 support! If anyone is considering using abc I would 10000000% recommend!

My Husband and I could not recommend ABC IVF enough. We first enquired about treatment back in October 23. I was very nervous going for my baseline scan but was very quickly put at ease by Katie and Danielle. They were very informative and answered all my questions and concerns. Treatment plan and pricing was thoroughly explained and easy to understand. We started our first round of IVF in January 2024 which fortunately was successful, I gave birth to our first baby, a boy, Herbie on 30/9/24 and we couldn't be happier. Everyone at the Leeds clinic were fantastic and the care was second to none, they helped to turn a very stressful time for us into a very enjoyable one. If needed we would definitely return to the clinic.

Avoid this company!

I was looking for fertility providers as me and my husband has been trying for nearly 4 years and were unsuccessful. We booked in for a scan and consultation with ABC. Their criteria is a BMI of 30, aged under 39 and a good ovarian reserve. At the scan they noticed I had low number of follicles but they perfomed an AMH test which came back satisfactory so it was advised they would need to attend an MDT meeting to see if they could proceed.

I waited to be told they could proceed and they would do an in depth discussion on the day I’d booked for my consultation with a nurse. I spoke with a nurse over zoom who initially went into the negatives of IVF and telling me she had to give me realistic expectation which I understood. She then mentioned I couldn’t go over a BMI of 30. I then explained I wouldn’t as I’d had bariatric surgery to be able to get myself to a healthy BMI to be able to even start IVF process and she said well done and that was the end of that. Then towards the end she explained someone would call me in regards to moving forward.

I then waited for my coordinator to call and when they did they explained my Nurse Katie has said she wants to speak to the consultants about my gastric sleeve. This was not on the questions for IVF or the requirements but she wanted another MDT meeting. She then called me to explain the results of the MDT meeting as to where in her words ‘we need you to get a letter from either your GP, Gastro surgeon or a private company called birth company’ ‘we need them to advise on if it’s safe to proceed with IVF after gastric sleeve’ Katie said as soon as I got these letters we could proceed to treatment.

So off I went I got a letter from my GP who explained I was healthy but she has advised me to also get a letter from my gastric surgeon. I contacted my surgeon in Turkey and received a letter explaining I was ok to proceed.

I then passed all of this information to ABC who said they needed to have a 3rd MDT meeting about me. She had the meeting yesterday to then call me and again not give me a definitive answer on wether or not they could proceed. She told me they wouldn’t accept the letter from my gastric surgeon because he’s Turkish! They would just disregard that letter was her exact words. She then proceeded to tell me my gp letter stated they are not a surgeon. So I proceeded to ask, so you are willing to take pieces of advice from my GP letter but where my GP tells you I have recovered well from surgery and I should get a supporting letter from my Turkish surgeon you want to disregard this piece of information. Katie then told me I was shouting at her (I didn’t raise my voice, she was trying to talk over me repeating it was for my health) when I was trying to explain my feelings.

So now I wish to voice these opinions. Firstly you are a company dealing with emotional couples who are struggling with different aspects of fertility. I would never have been able to come for a private consultation had I have not lost the weight to get my BMI down, I am over 35 and you yourself have told me I’ve got a decrease in my eggs. I came to you to be told, by Katie, as soon as you get these letters you can proceed to start treatment. This was a lie because I got the letters and the goal post changed. When I tried explaining that to Katie she proceeded to tell me I was shouting. No the problem is you told a woman who is desperate to have her own child that the start was in reach and then you snatched it away! Absolutely shocking service. She also told me the lead consultant would call me yesterday evening or today and I am still yet to get a call from this sham of a company!

If you want an empathetic fertility company I wouldn’t use this one. If you want someone to respond to you in an appropriate time don’t use this company. In fact just don’t use them at all!

The staff are well experienced and so kind,explained all process.

Booked an appointment everything went great spoke to a nurse 2 days later who requested a letter from my gp I had already sorted his out and asked where I needed to send it . Was told my coordinator would be in contact today or Tom and she would call me fast forward over a week later and still haven’t had a call . And still non the wiser to what’s going off won’t book with the company

I had an awesome experience with abc and it was a huge success at the end.

Chose ABC IVF due to them offering mild IVF and convenient location. All information and processes were very clear and great that they are willing to start quickly.

Staff are amazing, both Katie's were just the sweetest, professional but approachable and kind. Sam one of the Drs was so great when there was a little hurdle to overcome after egg collection, I genuinely felt like they went above and beyond to give me reassurance before I went ahead with a transfer.

I have a beautiful daughter who is 2 and a half weeks old from my first frozen transfer. Cannot thank this wonderful team enough!

Just to add that I know when looking at IVF I wondered why ABC was a fair bit cheaper than others. So for anyone who reads this and has that concern please be reassured that the care, facilities and service do not lack at all! Everything was done to an amazingly high standard with such care and compassion.

We first started the process of ivf in January 2023 and our beautiful baby boy was born in April 2024. Prices are lower than other clinics we looked at. Staff were amazing (Leeds) they made us feel comfortable throughout our journey and were happy to answer the many questions we had. We would definitely recommend abc ivf.

I started my treatment at Sheffield with Pauline & Kelly. They were absolutely brilliant explained everything to us, and responded quickly to any queries we had. For egg collection we then attended leeds, again all very welcoming, explained everything in detail. We had 9 embryos, 6 made it, we've stored 5.
We was lucky 1st time round. We attended leeds for our 6 weeks 6 days early pregnancy scan to be told we were having identical twins, which completely shocked me. I've 4 children already, with 1 set of twins.
We attended Hospital at 9 weeks 4 days to be told one of our twins had passed away, however twin 2 is healthy and good. We've another scan next week at 12 weeks 4 days, fingers crossed all is good.
The only thing that could be improved is the Co ordinator, firstly after paying our deposit, it took time for a response and next steps to be arranged, after we paid for our storage it was stressful because our online banking didn't allow us to attach a reference therfore, it took abc a while to locate it.
I'd highly recommend abc.
It's a emotional roller coaster.
Allow time off work for updated scans whilst in the process of injections etc. It's less stress than shift changing.

My partner and I have used ABC IVF twice now and we have been so very lucky to successfully have had both our IVF attempts work first time.
My partner carried our first child, Zak and I am carrying our second. I am currently just over 15 weeks pregnant and found out we are having a little girl!
We cannot thank ABC IVF, Leeds enough for their service, care and professionalism they have shown towards us with both of our IVF attempts. Katie Backhouse and Katie Taylor we have seen on both of these attempts and they are an absolutely credit to the organisation. This time round we also was looked after by the lovely El who was a great support throughout! Danielle and the team on the day of transfer were also absolutely fantastic, even the embryologists were so friendly and had time to chat with us before the procedure which made us feel so at ease and that our embryo had been in very good hands!
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for what you have helped us to achieve as what will be a family of four by the end of 2024! You guys really are miracle workers x

I am 22, I am completely healthy, we applied for ivf icsi because my husband has a low sperm count. All the scans were great, the schedule was great, we started our cycle with Katie, but she went on vacation and later I was served by another nurse who was constantly in the negative, this is such a difficult process for people and at such moments you need support and she kept saying what if ... and when ... but the worst was waiting ahead. When I had an egg collecting day, I was so happy and full of emotions to find out how everything went. I just opened my eyes and the doctor immediately said "you have 20 eggs and you need 16, we will not do a fresh transfer for you, only freeze everything" I say why? as? we don't know everything until the end, we were ready for a fresh transfer, that's why I burst into tears and no one, no one from the staff came up, asked how you are, no one... the reason was because I was over stimulation OHSS, but that was not the reason to hate this clinic….. we were waiting for how many embryos we will have…. out of 20 eggs we only had 6 mature, later on the next day they said 11 mature, unknown people whom we have never seen before called us every day and said maybe something will happen, maybe not, hope believe, later we had only 1 fertiliser, whole for a week we were confused by people with terrible English that no one could understand.... in the end, we got nothing, not a single embryo, and the only thing we always heard was "Sorry" when we talked to the doctor why this happened to us, everyone said that the first cycle is test When my husband asked a clear question whether OHSS over stimulation somehow affects the follicles, the doctor simply ignored the question and said that for the next cycle she should change the dose and new injections. These people play on emotions when a person goes for IVF, she already has feelings but fights with them and waits for support.... forget, they will only make you nervous and will take a considerable amount of money. They left us with nothing, only made it worse by overstimulating my healthy body. And now when we want only one thing, these are our documents, to see with our own eyes what happened to our cycle, they ignore it.... also, no one returns the money even if we had nothing, but at least they would have returned it for the fact that we did not have a transfer day. Therefore, do not spoil your nerves and do not waste this precious time, look for better treatment because no one in this clinic knows how to be a little friendly.

I am 33 with a BMI of 21 and had a 12 antral follicle account so I fit the criteria to go through abc Leeds with a 45% success rate.

On day 5 I was told my follicles were progressing normally. On day 8 I was told only 2 of my follicles have grown and the recommend me going in for egg retrieval and this is nothing to worry about, we only need one!

I felt so uneasy but was made to feel everything was fine and we should proceed as these 2 follicles looks encouraging.

I wasn’t told that I didn’t respond to the medication until 10 minutes before surgery. I believe prior to taking the trigger injection I should have been told this and advised to cancel and try a higher dose. This never happened.

2 eggs were retrieved and they were both immature! One fertilised but remained one cell. I was devastated.

The clinic director 1 week later called me with his child crying in the background being so patronising. It was so upsetting a week after a failed cycle.

I have an ongoing complaint running with them at the moment. I am now getting the care I need from a very reputable clinic with supplements and care tailored to me. It’s much more money but you get what you pay for! I was only told to take folic acid here!

Also the reviews on the abc Leeds are create fertility’s in Manchester. Abc is nurse led and create is doctor led. Huge difference! They also show success rates on embryo transfer and not by cycle! Be aware. Check HFEA. I wish I did. Learn from me.

This experience left me so depressed. No one deserves the treatment I received.

The clinic was always so welcoming throughout our many visits there and it was always a clean and calming environment. All the staff were so supportive. Special mention to Katie B our Fertility Nurse for being so amazing. She always made us feel so relaxed and was super helpful whenever we couldnt get hold of our personal coordinator. She was just generally lovely. We couldn't have asked for anyone better!

We will always be thankful to abc ivf for giving us our beautiful little boy!
