Ordered some boots in May 2025 and never received them. Emailed and had no response so I called them. They said they were having issues with getting the boots I ordered and offered me some others, which I didn’t want. I said I would wait another two weeks. Fast forward to October 22nd 2025 and they’re still not here. Terrible service.

Just like the geezer who left the last review the exact same story. I ordered some Helly Hanson work boots £106 so not cheap 2-3 days delivery. Well nothing so contacted customer service and after 3 emails got told that there is a 2 week delivery as they have to come from Holland. It is now over 4 weeks and nothing has turned up ignored my 3rd email so asked for a refund! I feel sorry for the bloke walking from Holland to the UK with everyone's items I presume it takes 5 weeks to get here by foot? He is going to have sore feet and a wasted journey. Yes I'm being sarcastic!!! Use another company people this one is up there in the top 10 of bad companies to use.

I’ve just deleted my original review that wasn’t very pleasant. Reason for this I written the review before speaking to customer services and to be fair she was one of the nicest people I’ve spoken to very apologetic as I was for doubting the company. Granted yes the Helly Hanson boots I ordered was a lot longer than they say on there page so I cancelled them and ordered directly from Helly Hanso. me thinking because of the reviews I read id been ripped of or a scam this is certainly not the case they put the money back in my bank account today and I can’t apologise enough for doubting them. A big thank you to Hazel who swiftly put things right.

Total scam as everyone else is saying! Feel like an idiot I had no idea people did this but will always read reviews in the future. Looks like they’ve even stopped the automated replies as I haven’t had anything back.
The bot replying to the reviews is fairly prompt though fair play.

Stay well away from this company! I just wish I would have read all there bad reviews before purchasing boots of them, saying that there is to many to read them all! I’ve have sent numerous emails with not one reply, I have had no communication apart from and order confirmation to let the know they have taken my money and that was it, I now have to go through the process of getting my money back, there site needs taking down to stop anybody else losing there money

I ordered a pair of safety boots from Work Wear Online Shop over a month ago, but I have still not received them. I tried to contact the company many times by phone, messages, and email – they ignored every attempt.

This is very unprofessional and disrespectful towards customers. Taking money and refusing to communicate or deliver the product is completely unacceptable.

I paid through Clearpay, and now I also have to waste time trying to get my money back. I strongly advise others to avoid this compan

Scam. I’m waiting 3 weeks for my item to be delivered. Each time I ask where is it, I’m getting a template respond it will be delivered next week. So apparently I should received it 3 times, in fact I was scammed.

Placed an order for some work t-shirts over 2 weeks ago for almost £500. No sign of delivery or tracking information and despite multiple emails for an update they do not respond. Terrible customer service, starting to think I have been scammed so will contact my bank as a fraudulent transaction. Avoid!

Scam bought helly Hansen boots never turn up , rang the number some woman answered with a different company name, carnt believe google still allowing them to trade on a prime stop on search

Don't waste your money I ordered some helly hanson work boots on the 6/4/25 still haven't received anything I have sent emails asking for a refund nothing no reply shocking company I don't leave reviews for anything but I have this time to hopefully help others wasting there time and money

ordered a £60 pair of work boots on the 1st of May and still haven’t received any confirmation emails or text but the money has come out my bank!! it was a gift for someone and now i’ve not been able to give them it !! i want my money back !

Ordered helly hansen work boots needing them ASAP for a new job as stated 3/5 working days day 7 still not received them not had any correspondence as to when they will be delivered nothing at all money has been taken out though? Will up date on progress

I made an order for some workboots in Feb. I realised I'd ordered the wrong boots, so I emailed straight away asking to have the order cancelled and refunded.
I got a reply the next day and they agreed. Two weeks later I still hadn't had a refund, then I was fobbed off with being told it was "handed over to the accounts department to process". I've since emailed them multiple times with no reply at all.
It seems this company only want to rip people off, take the money and disappear.
Well that's tough. I've waited long enough now so I'm left with no option but to contact the bank tomorrow and open a dispute.
Also probably wise to contact trading standards.
Avoid these scammers.

I made a bad review but in fairness my order has now been sent. I guess I got a little jumpy after reading reviews and lack of feedback from the company regarding my order. I apologise sincerely and am grateful for my order being resolved. The boots are fantastic and I will use the service again.

It’s taking a month and still have not got the goods, the company didn’t even have the courtesy to let me know a delivery date 😤

I ordered a pair of work boots for my dad, and the website promised delivery in 3-4 business days. When nothing arrived, I called customer service. The representative took my order number but instead of resolving the issue, told me she would call back in two hours. I later received an email saying my order should arrive by the end of the following week.

Fast forward to Thursday—still no dispatch email. I called again and was told I’d have to wait another two hours for a response. When I finally got the call back, I was told my order hadn’t even arrived yet, and they had no real idea when it would. At that point, I decided to cancel and request a refund. The rep offered an alternative product, but at this point, I’d rather wait another two weeks elsewhere than give them any more of my business.

When I mentioned I’d be leaving a negative review, the rep sarcastically said I "sound like the kind of guy who only leaves bad reviews." Well, I hope you're reading this one—and I hope future customers do too. Stay far away from this website!

The company https://charnwood footwear.co.uk/ had redirect url links to this Workwearonlineshop previously. If they are associated in any way which I asume they are due to the url re-direct links, I would not trust them. The company charnwood took orders from customers, didn't fullfil them and never paid back customers.
