Workada connects highly skilled people with flexible, remote work training the AI systems that are reshaping how the world works. Our contributors review, label, and evaluate real content: the judgment calls that make AI more accurate and useful for the people relying on it. AI needs good human judgment behind it, and the people providing that judgment deserve real flexibility and a company that actually invests in them, through training, feedback, and room to grow into more skilled, paid work over time. If you want meaningful remote work that fits around your life, not the other way around, Workada is the place to be.

What I've liked & disliked so far...
Here's what I've really liked so far: the attitudes of everyone I've interacted with have been positive (even when rightfully griping) and helpful (pod leads and other knowledgeable contributors are quick to offer advice and point you toward resources). The hiring process was very transparent and things moved quickly. The pay has been dependable and thus far what has been communicated has largely been what happens. Communication is also ongoing and in several formats.
Conversely, what I have found difficult is transitioning from the training & calibration to the actual tasks. The training prepared me for being IN the tasks but nothing in the resources clearly laid out the logistics. For example, I did not realize that one task = one set of images. Up to that point, the training had made it seem like a task could have multiple parts. The pace of change is fast, but if underlying systems were more clearly explained, it would have been so much easier for me. And if systems and processes are clearly documented, those can be easily updated as things change. Also, the acronyms for everything - some of them are intuitive and some are NOT. I am sure part of my perspective is colored by my experience as a project manager who specifically develops process documentation with built-in flexibility, but I also know that while I am someone who easily gets the lay of the land by observation, if even I am having trouble, there may be others who are completely lost once out of training, which wastes everyone's time and Workada's resources.
I have not experienced too many unreasonable asks, though there have been a few contradictions, like "take your time" but also there are time limits that don't count down for you - the task just ends; and "go with your gut" but also base it in concrete facts and do it quickly because the clock is ticking; and perhaps most frustrating of all, we are supposed to research and confirm verifiable and critical facts shown but the timer doesn't count time spent outside of the task window as tasking time, nor does it let your mouse/computer sit idle while you research on another device. The latter seems like a potentially easy fix that would keep a lot of contributors happy.
Same as every other platform
Same as every other platform. They don't care about the workers; just to eat money off our backs.
This is my first time doing work like…
This is my first time doing work like this. Workada gave me the opportunity and I would like to say THANK YOU!!! I really like what I do, also Slack is a wonderful tool too. The only thing I may work on is I didn't know where to go for training or how to navigate to where I needed to go, but all in all a great company to work for!!! Thanks again for choosing me, I will do my best for you!
I honestly like this company, you should too!
I honestly like this company, there's nothing bad about it. Got onboarded quick, and just started working. ♥️
they suddenly let people go without no…
they suddenly let people go without no just cause and their reasons are usually vague, fraud of a platform
I have nothing but good things to say…
I have nothing but good things to say about Workada. You have an interview with an actual human, the onboarding process is smooth and the Slack community and Pod Leads make this a very good experience. There always seems to be work available as well.
Don’t listen to these disgruntled…
Don’t listen to these disgruntled offboarded people that were off boarded due to low quality. If you produce decent work and don’t milk the timer you will love it here.
Not a reliable company
After working for 1 month, they just offboarded me out of nowhere without any warning. No company should treat their workers like this.
Offboarded without explanation
I was removed from my project within 36 hours of starting tasking, with no warning, no feedback on my work, and no clear reason. The only notice was a generic email saying my status had been paused after a review of my submissions, without saying what the issue was.
I've contacted support more than twice asking for a manual review and specific feedback so I could correct any mistakes, but I haven't received a response. My earnings for completed work were paid, but for a platform that relies on contributors, offboarding new people this quickly with no explanation or way to appeal is frustrating.
Clearer feedback and a responsive support team would make a big difference.
I was suddenly removed from Workada…
I was suddenly removed from Workada with no warning or explanation. Their initial email claimed that I had received multiple quality warnings, which was news to me because I had never received a single one.
When I reached out asking them to show me these supposed warnings, they completely changed their reasoning and claimed my account had violated their Community Guidelines. Of course, they wouldn’t tell me which guidelines I supposedly violated or provide any evidence to back up their claims. Instead, I got a generic, copy-and-paste response about a “multi-layered review” and how they couldn’t share any details for “compliance reasons.”
It’s honestly ridiculous to accuse someone of violating policies, refuse to explain what they did wrong, and then act like the matter is settled. If there were actual issues with my work or account, I would’ve appreciated the opportunity to understand and address them.
I put time and effort into this platform, and the least they could do is be transparent about why they decided to remove me. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic respect for contributors is extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend Workada to anyone looking for reliable work or fair treatment.
At this point, I genuinely hope this rapidly declining company goes bankrupt. Companies that treat their contributors like they’re disposable don’t deserve to stay in business.
Everyone in this company is at risk of getting let go out of nowhere, and should be aware of this.
Got let go out of nowhere, and wasn't given any explanation as to why. I brought up that we are offered an appeal in these situations, according to Multi Mango, and they just brushed it off and refused to follow through. Super unprofessional, and would not recommend. Everyone in this company is at risk of getting let go in the same manner and should be aware of this.
Got off boarded with zero explanation…
Got off boarded with zero explanation even though my pod lead was very happy with the quality of my work and wanted to refer me to be a pod lead as well.
Worst AI platform ever
Worst AI platform ever, they only pay you for time spent on a particular website even when rask guidelines explicitly state to search online before submitting work...
And yeah they randomly boot you for no apparent reason. This company deserves going bankrupt!
MY NEGATIVE XPERIENCE WITH WORKADA PROFILING
MY EXPERIENCE WITH WORKADA: PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD MATTER MORE THAN PHYSICAL APPEARANCE.
Today, I had an extremely disappointing experience during a live interview for the Data Labeling Specialist position at Workada.
I went into that interview ready to discuss my professional background, academic experience, AI-related skills, and years of experience working online. Instead, I left feeling humiliated, disrespected, and judged based on my physical appearance and gender expression.
Yes, I am a woman, and I may not fit society’s conventional expectations of how a woman should look. But since when did a person’s appearance become more important than their competence, experience, and ability to do a job?
I have worked with AI-related companies, including Outlier, Handshake AI, and Snorkel AI. My experience working with Handshake AI for over two years has shown me that professional working relationships can be respectful and productive.
That is why today’s experience was particularly upsetting.
I expected an opportunity to demonstrate my abilities. I did not expect to feel that my appearance was overshadowing my qualifications. I believe every candidate deserves a fair opportunity to speak about their experience and demonstrate their skills without being made to feel inferior because of how they look.
Companies working in artificial intelligence should take fairness seriously. Bias and assumptions about people should not determine how they are treated, whether in AI systems or recruitment processes.
After receiving Workada’s rejection email, I decided that I would not simply remain silent about my experience. I am raising this issue because I believe professional dignity matters, and other candidates deserve to be treated fairly.
I am asking Workada to review my interview experience and address the concerns I have raised.
My message is simple: Evaluate my skills. Ask about my experience. Assess my qualifications. Do not reduce me to my physical appearance.
I will consider appropriate formal complaint channels and continue advocating for respectful and fair recruitment practices.
No one should have to compromise their dignity to pursue a professional opportunity.

The flexibility is great
The flexibility is great, but the pay could be better.
I really appreciate that Workada keeps…
I really appreciate that Workada keeps human connection in the hiring process. Being interviewed and supported by real people across multiple communication channels makes a world of difference. After a degrading experience with another platform that relied entirely on bots from recruitment to evaluation, Workada stands out for hitting the right balance between AI and human interaction.
Workada SCAM
Workada , I believe is a scam. they use Calendly to schedule your interview. the link is suspicious us06web.zoom.us. If you just try to use the Phone number to call. they Demand the camera on your laptop. When you asked for more company information they will not provide it. ##SCAMM ##WorkADA ##JOBSCAM
Not Recommended
I got off boarded after 2 weeks. No reason given. My project leads were nice and helpful and my productivity percentage was above 90%!
When I asked why, I got an extremely rude dismissive answer that “the decision is set!” I think the correct way to put it is “the decision has been made.” So from poor the grammar I can tell the decision was made by their workers offshore who randomly deactivate accounts of workers in the U.S. and in Canada just to calm their own ego. The shocking rudeness also points to someone who is not familiar with civility at work. Anyway, if you got a job there, stay away from posting on slack. And keep a very low profile. If they see your name somewhere, they offboard you for no reason.
Not a well run business
I'm always suspicious when I see the positive reviews all coming on the same date or within a day or two (July 30, 2026). The negative comments I've read mirror my experience so far:
- pretty much a "are you breathing" interview to get hired
- an onboarding of some value, but also confusing and hurried
- then a full failure when the sign-in code system errors out and does not allow training to begin. ie - can't start working
- but the worst part is the non-existent support which sends canned responses and never resolves the issues; likewise, none of the pod leaders you're assigned respond to your inquiries for assistance.
The things that did work well were getting Slack setup, the online dashboard login, and of course, the banking information for payment...hmmm. I'm moving on but too bad as the business model is a great idea...just ruined by poor business operations.
Inconsistent work and useless support and upper management
If you want to work for free and get your calibration tasks judged by an ai (totally not antithetical to having humans being the ones to judge ai work) that autofails and explains nothing this is the company for you!
