Workada connects highly skilled people with flexible, remote work training the AI systems that are reshaping how the world works. Our contributors review, label, and evaluate real content: the judgment calls that make AI more accurate and useful for the people relying on it. AI needs good human judgment behind it, and the people providing that judgment deserve real flexibility and a company that actually invests in them, through training, feedback, and room to grow into more skilled, paid work over time. If you want meaningful remote work that fits around your life, not the other way around, Workada is the place to be.

Was suddenly off boarded for no reason…
Was suddenly off boarded for no reason and my account paused “after several warnings were issued to me about quality” which is a complete lie. I’ve never received any warnings and have always did stellar quality work.
Don’t depend on this company for your income.
I’m really glad I found Workada
I’m really glad I found Workada. It allows me to set my own hours and get paid on time. Since it operates 24/7, it’s perfect for managing my work around my kids. I can easily work late at night without any issues. As long as you follow the rules and do your best, you’ll do great.
The platforms are glitchy
The platforms are glitchy. The timer does not account for accessibility challenges (reading & responding slowly). The images we compare is overwhelming & causes anxiety; it plies on.
Amazing place to work for
Amazing place to work for, leads respond quickly and kindly and everyone is very helpful!

The Workada experience has been great so far!
They are transparent and straight forward about work expectations, payment, and training. I've recommended family members to apply!
Been working with them since August…
Been working with them since August this year, and thus far I've only had one issue and it was during a payment repair on their end, otherwise between ny pod lead and other members its been good so far! Also, the only other thing I would suggest needs work, the platform not allowing for redo tests even for a simple mistake
So far so good..
I have been with Workada for about 2 months. So far so good. I have read the other reviews and, frankly, they scare me. But, as I said, so far so good. Interview, on-boarding and moving on to tasking was very smooth. So far, they have done a good job at keeping me "posted" on any changes to the platform and/or the pay. I understand this is a new company and there will be "bugs" to work out. I really appreciate the opportunity to work from home, my hours, my pace.
It's Great
Friendly coworkers, good environment, well explained directions on how to succeed.
Workada is great for me because it…
Workada is great for me because it allows me to work whenever I want. Being a mom, working two other jobs and being active in my community can me a lot at times but with workada I can hop on at anytime of the day or night to do an hour or so. I have recommended this platform to several people and they love it as well! I hope this job lasts for years to come! I would definitely stay on board!!
So far great...
Workada is my first data annotation experience. The onboarding was smooth and training was thorough and made it easy to get started. I have had very little reason to seek support but the few times I have the response was quick and helpful. Pod leads are available and they work hard to create a sense of community. My payments have been accurate and on time.
Beware of this Company
I genuinely loved Workada at first. It felt like a great company to work for, or at least, that's what I believed. I started in August and was offboarded with no warning and no explanation in October. They just deactivated my account and sent an email. It was the same generic email that 300+ other workers got. I know this because I read Reddit, and people who still work there commented that they did a mass offboarding.
During the time I worked there, I also got multiple emails saying there was an issue with the pay system and that pay wouldn't be sent out when it was supposed to be. I mean, who wants to pay their bills on time and actually have money anyway, right?
They also changed how you get paid. You used to get paid to be on the sites you needed for work (the Workada dashboard, Slack, Multimango, and Google for research). You were told to look things up on Google if you weren't sure what they were. Then, all of a sudden, you were only paid for 90 minutes a week to be on your dashboard, Slack, and Google. That is nowhere close to enough time to research things or be on Slack. Slack is the only way to communicate with your pod lead, mind you, and you also had to search Slack for answers before you were allowed to ask a question. All changes and everything else went into Slack, which was constant. It took a while to get caught up on all the changes and whatnot there.
This company is a farce. All these fake positive reviews were asked for. Don't believe the hype! I'm sure half of them will be back to leave negative reviews once they're offboarded for no reason as well.
Legitimate, and rewards honest work
This company really is nothing but professional. The issues that I've had with them have been 100% the fault of their clients, not them - something I think those leaving bad reviews maybe don't realize.
They seem to make an extremely honest effort to communicate things to their workers and everyone has a pod lead they can directly communicate with.
As far as payment goes, it's been extremely consistent for me. I've had zero issues with getting money from the work I've done with them.
I wasn't going to leave a review until…
I wasn't going to leave a review until I found out that after seeing the bad reviews, Workada sent out a mass email asking for everyone to leave a positive review, so here's my review as a former worker.

Also, if you see the review the PL left about not being forced to do quizes, meetings, etc... THAT'S a lie!!! There were MANY people in Slacking saying that their PL's were making them do those things.

Just look up Workada in Reddit, it will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know :)
No accountability
This company let thousands of workers go with little to no explanation. Just a blanket statement “We cannot give specific details” and stating thousands of people broke guidelines.
Workada is a fantastic place to work
Workada is a fantastic place to work. The higher ups are responsive and you can tell they care about their workers. Using the platform and timer is easy, and after being onboarded I got to work and got paid right away! I highly recommend.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. They are a contractor for someone else. Lots of technical issues. All the "leaders" are fake and have AI pictures. Only support through slack. There is nobody to call, no HR department if something goes wrong. And it will. Their response? A generic canned response. Blame it on the company they're contracted through, Multi Mango. Since the issue is with Multi Mango you have to get it fixed through them. Turn around time is a few weeks, IF it will get fixed.
This company is one of the best AI…
This company is one of the best AI training platforms to work with. Working here has given me valuable experience in AI training and, most importantly, taught me how to recognize the differences between AI-generated images and real photographs. The team is also very helpful and always willing to provide support and guidance to help you succeed. Overall, it has been a great learning experience!
Best one yet out of 4 different AI companies
I have worked with 4 different AI companies. This one has been the best hands down. A real person with a great attitude interviewed me. My first and second pod leads have been touchable. Unlike some other companies, I can DM my questions and concerns in Slack and they do not have nasty attitudes and go off on the whole team because of your asking. The work is consistent and we get paid 3x a week. Yes, the pay is lower than others but I will take it, because they are consistent. Some give you contracts and no work.
Would have given 4.5 stars
Would have given 4.5 stars. Good onboarding experience, bad support experience and good overall experience with type of work. What they call 'calibration' needs some work, i.e. the way they measure if you are able/ready to perform analysis, it needs more QA scrutiny to be considered production ready. Payout has worked very well, and there is a good attitude towards the work you are providing. Overall would recommend.
Don’t believe the negative reviews!
I’ve had the pleasure of working at Workada since May, and though there have been bumps in the road, it’s been a great experience due to the communication and feedback alone. Factor in being paid thrice weekly, consistent work availability and perpetual training, it’s obvious that this company stands out among the competition.
Workada has a team of Trust and Safety experts, who have taken a meticulously deep dive into the metrics and were able to identify with 100% certainty, the contributors who were perpetually breaking rules in some capacity, and cleaned house. In other words, anyone offboarded is WELL AWARE of what they did wrong.
I‘m a PL, and a lot of us felt blindsided too when we lost contributors, until we were presented with an explanation of the evidence that was found.
Additionally, no one is FORCED to participate in meetings or do quizzes. That’s just a flat out lie. As PL’s we are very cautious about not mandating meetings anything due to contractor status, instead just stressing the importance. I wish I could mandate meetings and quizzes! They help with professional development tremendously!
Workada also makes it VERY CLEAR upon onboarding, that Slack communication is imperative for success, as things change in AI faster than the weather, so being up to speed on all changes is a necessity. Sure contributors can choose to not check Slack, but it’s imprudent and counterproductive, for obvious reasons. Also, the company is paying for Slack use, so why wouldn’t one check Slack?
Anyone complaining about training pay - go find other platforms that pay at all for training/onboarding, I’ll wait. There is only one I can think of, (and I’ve worked them all), and that platform has a host of issues that Workada wouldn’t have on its worst day.
Finally, they actually care. Scammers target start up companies like this knowing that it will take a minute for the company to catch up to their shenanigans, and that’s exactly what happened here. Workada didn’t offboard based on speculation or likelihood, the T&S team took the time to prove wrongdoing before anyone was let go - and they cared enough to make sure of that.
Like I said - don’t believe the negative hype! Workada is a solid company with real human beings that care about the employees who do the right thing!
