My Go-To Writing Tool

I’ve been using Wordtune for over 5 years, and it has been a great writing assistant. It helps me rewrite sentences, improve clarity, and find better ways to express my ideas quickly. The platform is simple, fast, and very useful for editing essays , text, or messages. I also appreciate their support system alot!! the team is responsive and helpful whenever I need assistance. Great Customer Service

i had forgotten to cancel a subscription before the renewal date and the payment went through. It clearly states no refunds. I explained the situation to the Nikki and she was quick to help me out. I enjoyed using the service as it made writing so much easier and gives you so many different options on how make yourself sound smart, cuz if I'm honest, writing papers isn't a strength I posses. I will resume my service with them once I go back to school in the future.

Excellent Service and Quick Resolution

I recently experienced an unexpected subscription renewal charge, and while it was initially stressful, the Wordtune support team handled everything with professionalism and genuine care.

Nikki was kind, responsive, and understanding from the start. Ela was very thoughtful and proactive in resolving the issue as well. She carefully reviewed the situation, communicated clearly at every step, and personally ensured that my subscription was cancelled and a full refund was processed smoothly. Her professionalism and empathy truly stood out.

I really appreciated the patience, transparency, and efficiency throughout the entire process. Their customer support turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a very positive one.

SCAM!!!!!

I joined WordTune in 2025 and hardly used it. My subscription was AUTOMATICALLY renewed for $83.88, I guess because I forgot to cancel. I have since tried NUMEROUS TIMES to cancel my subscription for this year but there is NOWHERE on their site that I can find to cancel my subscription. This company borders on a SCAM. I would not recommend it to any serious writer. They literally make it almost impossible to cancel their services.

Please note that our plans are recurring, which means they auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle. This is also stated in our Terms of Use (https://www.wordtune.com/terms-of-use) to ensure our users are informed.

When cancelling your account, there are two things to keep in mind.
1. If you have subscribed through our website, you can cancel from your account page under Manage Plan.
2. If you subscribed through the iOS App Store, cancellation is handled through your Apple subscription settings.

Best AI app

I love this app, I’ve been using it since 2022 but switched to the app version which is more suitable for me. Wordtune offers so many good rewrites that I can choose from, and I’m honestly just so grateful for this app every day. I’ve tried other AI platforms but they just don’t compare.

I was charged without authorization and…

I was charged without authorization and have been charged almost $360 over the past two years without knowing. I cancelled the subscription 3 times two years ago and somehow I was still signed up for a subscription I never used! If you look at the Better Business Bureau they have many awful reviews and complaints on the exact same issue! RATED F ON BBB.

Nikki in customer service told me she was going to make this right and offered me $12.50 cents. Awful terrible company. Do not use !

DO NOT TRUST this company

DO NOT TRUST this company with your financial information. They charged me for a yearly subscription (83.88) for an account that had previously been canceled! Keep track of your bills and watch out for charges. This company should be held accountable for this. Imagine how many people miss these charges.

WARNING: SCAM Unauthorized charges for 100 of dollars

I was charged hundreds of dollars without my approval or consent. None of these fees were communicated in any form. I cancelled my subscription but they kept charging me for years without me knowing. Extremely unethical and misleading and customer support did nothing to help. I can’t warn you enough — do NOT trust this service.

UPDATE: I reached out to customer support again regarding the 357 dollars they withdrew without my knowledge or approval. Will provide update after I hear back.

Received a “Delivery Status Notification” saying the email address provided in wordtunes reply below was not found and that my message wasn’t delivered..

Customer Service is bad

Customer Service is bad. I send from mails to help center to fix ai workspace on spices (on black under purple text, mostly). They are just lazy and do nothing. Beware of frustration when using it. PS: I in fact used it since 2020, and 2023 was its peak, now is garbage

Billing issue

This is my second review of this company. I have spoken with four different people regarding the billing issue and it has not been resolved.
My emails were always sent to the email address help@, but today it states that the address could not be found or that the email could not be received.
What communication methods can you use to reach these individuals? There is an email from them stating that I can assist you or guide you, but you cannot reach them.
There is so much secrecy around them. While they express their willingness to assist, they are not interested in doing so.
Additional info - 20.11.25

I am having difficulty sending emails to Wordtune, they are not reaching it.
As well, they have asked about the payment to assist me when I can see the bank took the funds ten days ago.
In their emails, they are too polite and do not take any action. I have never dealt with a company like that before.
