I’ve used them for a few clearance jobs…

I’ve used them for a few clearance jobs before, and they’ve always been reliable. This time, I booked them for a house move, and once again, they delivered exceptional service. The move was completed on time and at a great price! Far better than any other removal service in the Basingstoke area. Highly recommended!

WN Removals did a great job!!

WN Removals did a great job with our recent move, at a competitive price. From the initial enquiry, George was really helpful, flexible and responsive.

On the day he and his team arrived promptly. They worked really hard and efficiently, which took a lot of the pressure off us.

I would gladly use them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

From the first phone call till the lads…

From the first phone call till the lads left complete grate service from wn
Polite, onetime, nothing was damaged and they were so quick .
We moved from Southampton to Manchester with the same day although it was really late by the time it was all done we couldn't believe it .
The lorry driver was man of the match for us 👌

Great service

Great service. Zac was super helpful with the removal process, and made sure everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend.

Really nice and helpful guys, made my move really stress free with a very reasonable price for the service they provided me. Highly recommend.

Helped me and my family move out

Helped me and my family move out. Was a long journey but they were quality throughout the whole process. The gents were really nice and friendly, and made sure all our valuables were handled with care. Couldn’t actually praise the company enough, we’re completely transparent and were a joy to work with!

Promised the world...delivered chaos.

I have reluctantly decided to write this review despite giving WN Removals every opportunity to respond to my emails.

Inadequate Van Size: Despite a house visit a week before, providing detailed information about the volume of our belongings the vans supplied were clearly inadequate. Midway through the packing process, it became apparent that one of the vans was too small, necessitating a last-minute switch to a larger vehicle. Even with this change, the space was still insufficient, resulting in our belongings being crammed in a manner more akin to a house clearance than a professional removal. This lack of foresight and planning was both disappointing and unprofessional, especially considering the high value and sentimental importance of many of our items.

Damage to Belongings: Upon arrival at our new home, we discovered that several of our belongings had been damaged, including bedside tables, sideboard, and a dent in our fridge.

Unprofessional Behaviour: On Friday evening, after a long and difficult day, including a drive from Berkshire to Yorkshire, it was mutually agreed that the team would rest and return on Saturday morning to complete the unpacking. While I would like to acknowledge the hard work of both Zac and George on Friday, their conduct on Saturday morning was of concern, unprofessional and caused significant distress. Both individuals smelt of alcohol, and George had a visible facial injury, we understand he received this by being punched on the Friday evening. (we were never told the full story) It was an uncomfortable situation which severely undermined our confidence in their ability to handle our belongings with care and finish the job to the best of their abilities and to the professional standard we would expect. It was clear they wanted to finish the job ASAP which resulted in our belongings being "thrown" and manhandled into our house leaving several marks on the walls.

Late Delivery: We also incurred an additional hotel cost for a last minute overnight stay in York. We were assured the job could be done in one day (we thought that was optimistic). While Zac did offer to complete the job on the Friday evening (Approx 2200hrs when they arrived at our location) we did not consider this a sensible option, or deem it fair to expect the team, or my partner, to do that after an arduous day and with the day light hours gone.

Complaints Procedure: I have written two emails to their complaints teams and none have been acknowledged. We verbally informed Zac we wanted to complain on the day and we subsequently followed their procedure only to be ignored...twice!

Therefore our complaint and quest for an apology and compensation remains ongoing.

We are disappointed to read your review and feel it necessary to address the inaccuracies and contradictions in your account.

Van Size and Packing:

Your claim that our vans were inadequate is misleading. A house visit was conducted, and the correct van sizes were allocated based on the information you provided. However, when it became apparent that the volume of your belongings far exceeded your estimate, we acted swiftly and professionally by arranging a larger van at no extra charge to you—something most companies would not do. This demonstrates our commitment to resolving issues promptly and putting customer needs first. Whilst most other companies would either refuse to add another van, or add money to the invoice, we did neither. We accommodated your needs at no extra cost.

"Damage" to Belongings:

You claim items were damaged during the move, yet no evidence was presented at the time, and no mention of damages was made to Zac or George on the day. There is a 24-hour time limit to provide a written report about damages, to prevent fraudulent and unbased claims - Furthermore, your belongings were packed securely and professionally, supported by the accounts of both employees on the day of the move.

"Unprofessional Behaviour":

Your allegation about Zac and George being unfit for work on Saturday morning is entirely untrue. Both individuals worked tirelessly into Friday evening after your request for them to stop due to the late hour. They then booked a hotel at your suggestion to ensure they could rest and continue the job the following day. It’s absurd to imply that professional movers, having stayed in a hotel to accommodate your request, would arrive in anything less than a professional state.

"Late Delivery and Hotel Costs":

You chose not to have the job completed on Friday night, despite Zac and George offering to finish the work. This decision—your decision—was the sole reason for the overnight delay. Blaming us for your additional hotel costs is unreasonable and contradicts your own admission that completing the job late on Friday “wasn’t a sensible option.” - We did not invoice you for the hotel that we had to book (last minute) to accommodate your needs.

Complaints Procedure:

We are disappointed by your suggestion that we ignored your complaints. You did send two emails, and while we were in the process of reviewing your concerns, we also tried to contact you by phone from our office number. Unfortunately, these calls were not answered. We always aim to resolve complaints promptly, but we need cooperation from our clients to do so.

We pride ourselves on our professionalism, flexibility, and customer care, as demonstrated by the extra effort we put into your move. While we appreciate your feedback, we must refute these baseless claims and will not consider compensation for circumstances that were ultimately driven by your own decisions.

Zachary was proactive throughout the…helpful

Zachary was proactive throughout the whole move. His guy’s were great and a pleasure to work with. They bent over backwards to accommodate my difficulty with getting set date’s for the removal and arranged storage whilst we waited for completion. They were amazing and Zach was so kind

We used George and his team for a recent house move. They were fantastic. Arrived on time and were so careful and efficient moving our belongings. Really lovely team, would highly recommend.

I booked a house move from Winchester…

I booked a house move from Winchester to Bath. Zac was really helpful and very accommodating when we had to change the date at short notice, and sent us free boxes! The team arrived on time and were incredibly polite and efficient at loading and unloading everything for us. Thank you very much, great experience, would recommend.

Fantastic service

We recently used W N Removals to help us move home. George responded quickly to my enquiry and was really easy to communicate with throughout the process. On the day the labourers were polite, helpful and respectful to our belongings. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
This was the 2nd time I've used W N Removals and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

WN removals...

We were recently moved by this company and were very pleased with the service provided...they turned up on time and packed all our furniture professionally, very friendly guys,and very helpful...on unloading they took everything to the relevant rooms and even plumbed our washing machine in for us....excellent firm and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or to use them again....

Steer clear of these dishonest cheats

We were given a quote by Zac and we hired WN removals for a full removals service and we were told we’ll be given 2 vans and 3 men. Only 1 van and 2 men showed up on the day and when I called Zac to ask why only 1 van showed up, he said the second will come later. We then realised that it was a flat out lie because the second van never showed up. We had clearly communicated with him that it was simultaneous exchange and completion so it might be a while before we can start driving towards the new place but he kept insisting on starting so that there’s enough time to do the second round (which never would have been needed if he had sent 2 vans in the first place like promised). After we reached, he started pressuring again to unload the stuff and we ended up unloading it in the garden (which wasn’t covered by insurance). When we complained about how unhappy we were with the service, he kept saying how the service was provided and that he’s “losing money” on this because the 1 van & 2 man sub-contractor is charging them more. Well, of course they’re charging more because they were hired to do a 2 van & 3 people job. Pretty sure he saved a ton of money by charging us full price for a service and paying a fraction of what he would have if he’d actually provided the full service.
