I donated once during the presidential race. Winred has sold my information and now I receive several texts a day and even more on the weekends. I’ve received two just while writing this. All claiming to be personal messages from the president or vice president or some different candidate or office holder. I can’t wait to see this organization get sued for fraud and harassment. I’ve unsubscribed from them many times over and it never works.

I do not trust Winred operations team. The date listed is irrelivant. I made a contribution and it was turned into a recurring contribution which was not my intent. They made it virtually impossible for me to opt out. The effort I had to put in was overwhelming. I will NEVER donate again using Winred, unfofrtunate but necessary.

This website is a disgusting and disturbing display of greed. They prey on the elderly as well as those who suffer from neorological disorders/diseases. Steer clear of this website and refrain from donating. They will relentlessly hound you via email and text as well as deceive you into multiple donations. Not to mention it's near impossible to cancel donations. Do your research!!!

They keep texting me after I have followed their rules to stop all texts and emails. I am a conservative but they pester me all day at work with texts

I donated money years ago and up to a few days ago was receiving 50 to 60 TEXTS A DAY. I received a text asking if I would like to reduce the amount of texts but I had to send money to do that. This is EXTORTION! I sent a reply asking them to reduce, I REALLY WANT IT STOPPED COMPLETELY, and now I am receiving OVER 70 TEXTS A DAY EVERYDAY. Anyone have any ideas on eliminating this nightmare?

6 text per day on average. Even after stop text.

I made a contribution using Winfred and now I get 20 messages a day from political platforms. Worst decision I ever made.

WinRed is just a for-profit text and email “Spam Factory” total Frankenstein horror story that can’t be stopped and will give out your personal information to any and every sleaze-bag organization !!

Endless source of unwanted spam. Completely unprofessional in refusing to stop, and illegal.

Even if I were managing a campaign for office in the Republican party, I would never use WinRed's service -- they destroy your credibility and make you look like a cheap scammer instead of a legitimate candidate.

I made a one time donation, and every month they continue to charge my card. I have tried for the last 4 months to get this stopped and get no response except the monthly charge.

I have received spam texts from them over and over, using STOP does nothing. Some of the texts are even mildly threatening. I'm conservative but will never donate to them for anything, nor will I publicly donate any funds to any conservative group in the future. I try to only do anonymous donations but somehow I've gotten on WinReds radar and their daily texts. I'm beyond aggravated. Do better winred, DO BETTER.

COMPLETE SCAM ARTISTS AND VIOLATE THE TCPA

I tried to donate to a campaign, and, after I entered my credit card information and pressed "Donate," it just sat there and didn't do anything. JavaScript was enabled across the board, and I am using Chrome. This is based on my personal experience today (June 8).

It did work for another candidate but, if this is the level of quality candidates can expect from this service, maybe they need to set up direct donation options for their campaigns.

They caught me by surprise with a campaign for a US Senator. I've never donated to political campaigns but the ad for the senator was intriguing. As soon as I donated I started receiving around 5 texts/day for political donations. Each one with a distinct phone number. Blocking them is impossible due to the number being different on each one. I've blocked and spam reported each one. 30 days in and have received over 150 political donation texts. WInRed.com policy is to login although I never created an account and have to credentials for it. They might have stopped sending me texts but they've shared my phone number with related partners.

Please do not donate to WINRED. In November 2025, my wife donated $17.76 to WINRED because we are devout Republicans and believe in the cause. Within 2 weeks, her credit card had over $10,000 in charges from every Republican in the country. It was an effort, but we got those reversed. Until about a month ago when they started up again. Also, since November, she receives 8-10 mailings each day in our mailbox requesting donations. Her cell phone also receives 20-30 text messages every day. I have blocked over 500 numbers. STOP does not seem to work, they just use another number. People involved in WINRED should be in jail.

I’m so tired of the messages saying NO MONEY required. Then I’ll answer all the questions and then you have an automatic donation request before your answers will be sent . What a sham site ! I will not donate to any candidate or party that uses winred .If I find the time I will try to get a legitimate address and send a paper check. So tired of the double cross policies!

I do donate through WinRed…..to support President Trump and the Republican Party.

TO MAKE SURE THAT A BOX IS LEFT CHECKED GIVING THEM PERMISSION TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT AGAIN ON THE FIRST OF THE MONTH…..OR INDEFINITELY! I WANT TO DONATE, BUT I DON’T APPRECIATE WINRED’S REPETITIVE BS QUESTIONING CAUSING ME TO DONATE TWICE AS MUCH MONEY AS I INTENDED ON DONATING.

I want to totally unsubscribe from winred.com. I don’t know how I ever subscribed! My bank card must have been saved by someone at winred because I saw the last 4 numbers of my card saved there! Then I looked at my bank account and there was between 6-8 different amounts taken out of my bank account! I do not want to deal with it anymore and the amount of text is truly offensive! 60 up to 80 or so a day, so please NO MORE! I’m trying to unsubscribe one at a time and it is awful! So Help, I’m almost 80, so please stop asap! I did recover all the funds taken, but to me it is not safe to use!

I will never ever ever donate to a Republican again. I am republican. I will vote Republican, but winted has done nothing but send me text message after text message asking for money. I have a disabled son and I am retired and I’m elderly and this is very sad.
