We were recommended Wilford Smith to deal with the sale of our house. We were delighted with the service from the first line of communication. Dedicated team that work tirelessly to ensure the job in hand is completed, quickly and efficiently. Great communication, responsive and proactive. Absolutely cannot fault the service we received. Alisha K definitely deserves recognition as her support and guidance was outstanding. We would one hundred percent recommend this company to anyone in need of legal guidance

Victoria Davis and her team are wonderfully professional, helping the property purchase to progress to exchange and completion in a timely manner, with great communication and as little stress as possible. I thoroughly recommend them.

Everyone, especially Victoria, were very helpful with any questions i had.
They responded the same day with useful answers/information.

The team did a good job of doing all the necessary legal steps and being very thorough about all the paperwork. They did not add extra communications or issues which would have added to costs, although sometimes they were hard to get hold of.

Pretty smooth process overall - no issues or major hitches, and the team were responsive throughout.

If you are buying or selling a property DO NOT under any circumstances use Wilford Smith, as apart from providing a WOEFUL “service”, the entire Conveyancing team will either ignore you and/or treat you with total contempt! It took Francis Lloyd Cummings 8 months of incompetence to almost sell our property (to a cash buyer), and in the end another solicitor took over and we limped over the line (after losing our first buyer). Unbelievably the saga continues with our current property, that we bought in 2021!, issues with Land Registry title that WE have done most of the leg work on! First title said our property was leasehold (it’s not,), WE then contacted Land Registry ourselves to expedite title application, (back in September 2023). All phone calls and emails from BOTH the solicitors now dealing with this ignored, when we have ask for any updates. Today cannot get hold of solicitors by phone (AGAIN), so decide to go direct to HMLD regarding the application, and we are told it was cancelled on 29/12/2023,,, because Wilford Smith did not send requested information in a timely manner. They were warned on 29th November of imminent cancellation of application, but ignored that until it was cancelled. I suppose we now know why they don’t want to “update us” at least. Dealing with this firm is like living in a parallel universe, and has caused us so much unnecessary costs, upset, and distress. If anyone knows who We can contact at the top of the company to make a formal complaint to, please let me know…… This btw is just a very brief outline of the problems we have had with this company since making that fateful decision to go with them after putting our house on the market!

I got in touch with this brilliant solicitor from this firm called Abbey who represented me as a duty solicitor but after she went on to represent me fully as my case was a bit complicated! My God this lady solicitor is amazing! I can’t praise like I should!! She is amazing! I would 100% recommend her services to anyone facing a prison sentence!

Wilford Smith were approached to carry out the conveyance of a property that I was looking to buy, yet they decided to inform the seller's solicitors via email that I had pulled out of the sale. COMPLETELY JEPARDISING said sale.

Absolutely fuming with them, considering I hadn't completed any sign-up paperwork or instructed them to do any work on my behalf nor paid them any money and had told them I would be in touch with them.

I DID correspond with you AFTER you had emailed the seller's solicitor and BEFORE writing the review.

Also my email to you was clear that I would be back in touch with you, it was also clear that I had NOT at that point (or any point known to you) pulled out of the sale.

Either way I stand by the comments made here and happy to share all correspondence with Trust Pilot should anything need to be cleared up.

So your review of my file was poorly conducted. Your comment of "(although it appears you may be happy to do so by virtue of your public commentary)" is childish and unprofessional. However, please feel free to update your post with the information that proves my instructions were for you to contact the seller's solicitor and provide them with false information. Bear in mind that I have the email that (again) clearly states that I will be back in touch with you.

You are correct in stating that conveyancing is difficult, but it was you in this case have made that abundantly clear.

You state that I have chosen not to proceed, again something else where you are wrong.

Finally, it still leaves the question of why are you conducting business on my behalf, when I have not opened a file with yourselves?

Recently acquired the services of WS for conveyancing (sell and buy) and they were superb, very efficient, great communication and totally on the ball throughout!
