Great quality food, fast delivery and a happy dog.

My dog has serious IBD and got so bored of the veterinary hydrolysed protein diet so looked for something else he could have without having awful allergic reactions. (Hypoallergenic dog food is often full of allergens!) cue insect protein!!! He never turns his nose up at Grain free bug bakes and he now has all the energy and zest for life as he did when he was a young pup 🩷

Bought the rabbit flavour as an alternative to raw food to take on holiday to France. Then realised you aren't supposed to take meat into the EU so also bought the fish one. Allowed my dog to try it as treats in the months beforehand and she liked it so I switched her straight onto it a few days before we went away and had no issues with her gut - great! However, she doesn't cry for it like she does with her raw food and she doesn't like it soaked and rehydrated which really surprised me as she's so foody. She will eat it with water poured over the top which is good because it does make her very thirsty. She is also a lot more gassy than usual on this food. Overall I'm pleased with the quality and convenience.

Wild Pet Food has been excellent. Customer Service is superb. Orders always arrive well packaged and always very promptly following placement of online order. My dogs are very happy with the food and clean their bowls. Transition from my old pet food was very straight forward and Wild Pet Food staff have been readily available to discuss any queries, even making a call to me to enquire if all was progressing well with the transition. The food is highly nutritious and I trust that my dogs are eating a tasty and healthy balanced diet, I have recommended Wild Pet Food to others. HIGHLY recommend the food and the company. Decided to try Wild based off All About Dog Food’s review, and wanting a high quality, easier to store alternative to raw food. Initially I ordered the Cold Pressed Beef recipe, and it didn’t agree with my pup. She is a sensitive soul, and usually at this point I may have given up and tied something else, until I went on the website and saw a direct phone line to speak to the company’s CEO, Ross. Ross was incredibly generous with his time and advice, and talked me through what could be going on with my dog. In an unbelievable further act of generosity, he then arranged for me to be sent several different recipes to try, at no additional charge. Safe to say, his advice was absolutely spot on and I now have a happy and healthy dog again, with no tummy troubles! I have spoken to him twice more since the initial phone call, and each time he has been as helpful and insightful about small tweaks and things to try to get my dog feeling her best again. Now that we have cracked the code on what works for my dog, I have noticed she is significantly brighter, her coat is shiny and soft again, and she is back to her usual self after several months of being very subpar. This exceptional customer service, and genuine care for my dog and her wellbeing is the standout here - we will be a customer for life! Can’t thank Ross and the Wild team enough.

Great food, dogs enjoying mealtimes

our 4 year old GSD is loving it and gaining weight on his other cold pressed he was pooing a lot since he had been on wild this had improved significantly he loves the food as does our 5 month old puppy, also our 4 year old has food allergies especially chicken and he loves the fish variety and as I said both are thriving on it just goes to show not all cold pressed is equal

We switched to WILD Pet Food several months ago after spending a lot of time researching the 'best quality', whilst also being conscious of the extortionate price that top quality dog food can cost these days.

We were with a couple of other upmarket brands that had decent ratings on a dog food rating website, allaboutdogfood, and noticed WILD about a year ago now. They were the clear best rated one compared to other competitors.

After doing a trial, we found our pup really liked the poultry options, particularly the Chicken and Duck flavours, therefore since then we've been a loyal WILD customer for the past 12 months and have been delighted with our experience.

Our dog, a Welsh Terrier, enjoys the food, digests it well and it's such good value for money considering the superior quality to other brands.

If only all dog food brands cared about the composition and customer service as much as WILD! We love them.

My puppy loves this food!

I have two Miniature Schnauzers, with very sensitive tummy’s, we are transitioning very slowly, but so far I’m very impressed, no issues, both dogs love it.

Yes this is an excellent food for adult dogs not puppies like they say i was told this food was an excellent choice for my rottweiler puppy, it did not agree with him at all it is far to rich for him and since doing some research the protien is far to high for a growing puppy, also the calcium and phosphorus ratio in this food is far to high for a growing puppy, since putting my puppy onto darf complete puppy food he is a lot happier and his stools are a lot firmer

The food itself is great. My dog licks his bowl clean everytime. However the courier service Wild use is awful. Order was left on my doorstep, on a public street! I contacted the courier, who did apologise but given the value of my order this is not satisfactory.

Be very careful checking the pricing of this brand before buying directly on their website.

I emailed the company to ask why a 2.5kg bag of Surf & Turf 80:20 Cold-Pressed is listed on their website for £39.99, yet is widely available on Amazon for £19.99 (a massive 50% discrepancy where they also pay platform fee).

The founder, Ross, replied claiming the Amazon stock was just a "temporary deal to shift old stock/packaging style" because they have "nice new fancy printed bags" on their site.

This explanation is factually incorrect. I ordered the £19.99 bag from Amazon, and it arrived in their brand-new, freshly manufactured packaging.

If a premium pet food brand is willing to mislead customers about their heavily inflated website prices, it completely shatters consumer trust.

If they aren't transparent about their pricing and stock, it leaves me with massive doubts about the integrity of their ingredient claims too.

Shop around, or avoid entirely!

Ross, you are protesting far too much, and your timeline completely collapses under scrutiny.

You claim this was a "temporary, short-term transition" that you just ordered to be wrapped up "yesterday afternoon," and that only a "handful of bags" of the new packaging slipped out at the discount price this week.

Here is the undeniable fact - I purchased my bag on April 30th 2026.

A "temporary clearance" does not run for over two solid months. I received your brand-new, freshly manufactured packaging over nine weeks ago.

Your elaborate explanation about Amazon warehouse delays cannot account for a two-month gap where your "clearance price" remained active on brand-new stock.

This isn't a tight operational transition, it is a permanent dual-pricing strategy. You are using Amazon as a cheap acquisition channel while keeping your direct website prices artificially doubled at £39.99 to make your 20% vouchers look like a deal.

Getting caught out and writing a defensive wall of text to play the "hurt small business" card does not equal transparency.

Evidence of my April purchase proves your explanation is completely disingenuous.

Wild Petfood has been incredibly supportive in helping us transition our dog from a raw diet to their Rabbit Cold Pressed recipe.

We followed the transition guidance on the website, but initially found that the cold-pressed food seemed a little too rich for our dog's sensitive stomach and was causing some digestive upset. We were keen to continue with Wild because of the high-quality ingredients and the convenience of cold-pressed feeding, so we didn't want to start searching for another brand.

I spoke with Ross, who suggested trying some of the Grain-Free Bug Bakes recipe, as it could help to firm up his stools. We started by introducing a small amount and quickly noticed an improvement.

Encouraged by the results, we gradually increased the proportion each week. We are now feeding roughly a 50/50 mix of Cold Pressed and Bug Bakes, and everything is working perfectly for both our dog and us.

We've also tried the Bug Bakes pâté, which he absolutely loves. As a special treat, we sometimes add a little to his main meal, and we also use it in frozen Kongs and lick mats.

Our experience has shown that sometimes a little experimentation is all that's needed to find the right balance. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend reaching out to the Wild team if you're experiencing any challenges. They genuinely care about their customers and their dogs, and they're committed to helping find a solution that works.
