Amazing Service and Excellent Quality of Produce.
I had an opportunity to produce a Chef's menu while on holiday with Exmoor Character Cottages. I chose the 3 course meal for 4 persons
Everything was fresh and great quality. Portion size was more than adequate even for big eaters! The ingredients were labelled carefully and the method of cooking extremely well explained with exacting directions and easy to follow. I produced a fantastic meal thoroughly enjoyed by 4 of us.
I would highly recommend Wild Radish as an excellent alternative to dining out and certainly more fun if you enjoy cooking with some skill. The website gives you a list of equipment needed, the level of cookery skills required and also a list of allergens. Can you consider using Wild Radish while on your self-catering holiday with Exmoor Character Cottages - absolutely and I will definitely be ordering next time we come.

Great food and fun to prepare.

This was a gift for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding anniversary. They said the food was "literally one of the top meals we've ever eaten" and this is from two worldwide-traveling professionals. My only concern was that the food took around 90 minutes to prepare (and, according to my daughter, "every dish in the kitchen"), which given the late time of day it arrived, made for an anniversary dinner that was quite late. So, all-in-all, magnificent food, but perhaps a bit more instructions during the purchasing phase as to how much time will be required for producing the meal.

Fabulous original recipe with first-class ingredients, some of which I've not cooked before. We enjoyed it so much I repeated it for a dinner party this weekend. We are not vegan, but I chose this plant-based dish as it sounded so delicious, and it was.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Wild Radish experience. Thank you so much Anthea Marie Stephenson for making the effort and taking the care to ensure my meal (with wine and music pairings) was sublime.

Fabulous meal! The recipe and accompanying notes were all set out clearly and with a little bit of care I turned out a restaurant quality dinner for two. The paired wine completes the meal experience, highly recommended!

My first Wild Radish Meal and we chose the roasted wood pigeon by Sam Ashton-Booth.

I was a little worried at first as it was rated a 3 for difficulty because some butchery of the wood pigeon was required.

However, I found the instructions very clear and simple and felt a real sense of achievement putting the meal together.

Unfortunately for my lovely wife, she was out when I made this for lunch. My daughter, however was very ready after dance and absolutely demolished a plate.

I don’t have anything critical to add - even the packing was excellent.

First time doing a Wild Radish box. Really enjoyed the box, ingredients were really fresh. At the end I was surprised that I had managed to cook something so full of flavour. The recipes have a few elements so can take a bit of prep time but if you enjoy cooking then you will definitely enjoy the process and learn some new skills.

There is a LOT of passion behind the Wild Radish team you can tell but I think there are some practical things that could be improved. I had assumed and I'm sure I can't be the only one that deliveries will be before dinner time on the day of delivery i.e. if you ask for a Friday delivery you might want to cook on a Friday. The team went out of their way to deliver a slot a day earlier but it's worth communicating the delivery restrictions/timeframes? Secondly there simply wasn't enough food - we ordered the veggie option granted but a few hours after dinner I was starving. And is it possible to pre-cut/peel the ingredients as the chopping took ages especially for beginner chefs. That flavours were delicious and gave us inspiration for future food combos and the pairing wine was delicious!

A lovely treat for a romantic meal; tasty food, great wine, and a cooking experience to remember.

The actual recipe was a little hard to follow and didn’t quite go to plan… but tasted great never the less, and was very memorable! Took quite a bit longer to do the recipe than the card suggested, so don’t do wild radish if you’re in a rush - it will be the whole evening (and a lovely one at that).

Due to my own fault and my not reading your description carefully it was quite a shock to realise that I had a lot of preparation to undertake. There are other companies I have used where cooking is at a minimum.
After a long week I was looking forward to a treat and NOT having to spend so long to cook a meal . My fault.
I followed your guidance and I did in fact complete preparing the meal in an hour and a quarter .
However I am not looking to do this again. I found the process tiring and it took away from the enjoyment of sitting down relaxed to an evening meal with my husband .I can usually put an evening meal on the table in twenty minutes.

For the second year this was a Christmas present from my family in Australia. The food was delicious but I think for the increased price there should have been some kind of sweet dish. We felt that it was a lot of money for just a main course.

We tried two boxes from Wild Radish so far - pork with chestnuts in Jan, and the Guinea Fowl Valentine's special - both were absolutely divine and surprisingly easy to prepare. We manage to prep everything between myself and my husband over bedtime with our two under three year olds, and cook it once they're in bed which has been working really nicely for us. Combination of ingredients make flavours really special - each of the dishes features something that I don't use in my cooking day-to-day. Yet they're familiar enough to be easy to prepare and cook + really enjoy the experience. We also absolutely love the playlists and wine pairings which were super easy to drink and perfect for the meal. Both make the evening that little bit extra special.

We very much enjoyed our food it was easy to cook and delicious to eat. Guinea fowl is my favourite and this did not disappoint we look bed the rest but the bread sauce was a revelation. Thankyou
